17 – The Syrian Fraction

Thus truly did the Word of God suffer in body, was slaughtered and subdued to the cross, and His Spirit was separated from His body.

هكذا بالحقيقة تألم كلمة الله بالجسد، وذبح وأنحني بالصليب، وأنفصلت نفسه من جسده.

But His divinity was never separated from His Spirit nor His body.

Ere tefmeqnou; vwrj `ebol an `ene\ `ntefyuxh oude pefcwma.

إذ لاهوته لم ينفصل قط لا من نفسه ولا من جسده.

He was pierced in His side with a spear, and blood and water gushed from His side as forgiveness for the whole world. His body was smeared by them, and His Spirit was united to His body.

Auqokcf 'en pef`cvir 'en ;logxh> ouo\ au'a; `ebol`n'htf `nje ou`cnof nem oumwou> `eouxw `ebol `mpikocmoc thrf> ouo\ aucep pefcwma `n'htou> ouo\ ac`i `nje tefyuxh acer ouai nem pefcwma.

وطُعن فى جنبه بالحربة وجرى منه دم وماء غفراناً لكل العالم. وتخضب بهما جسده، وأتت نفسه وأتحدت بجسده.

Instead of the sin which surrounded the world, the Son died on the cross and restored us from the left care to the right.

N`t]ebi`w de `m`vnobi etkw; `mpikocmoc afmou `nje ~P]hri \iten pi`ctauroc> ouo\ aftacqon `ebol\a ;oikonomi`a ca jash `eca ou`inam.

وعوض الخطية المحيطة بالعالم مات الإبن بالصليب، وردنا من التدبير الشمالي إلي اليميني.

By the blood of His cross He reassured us, unified and harmonised the heavenly with the earthly and the people with the peoples, the souls with the body, and on the third day He arose from the tomb.

Ouo\ afcemni `ebol\iten pi`cnof `nte pef`ctauroc> ouo\ arer na nivhou`i `nouai nem na `pka\i ouo\ af\otpou pilaoc de on nem nilaoc> ;yuxh de nem picwma> ouo\ 'en pima\]omt `n`e\oou aftwnf `ebol'en pi`m\au.

وأمن بدم صليبه ووحد وألف السمائيين مع الأرضيين، والشعب مع الشعوب، والنفس مع الجسد، وفي اليوم الثالث قام من القبر.

One is Emmanuel who is undivided after the unity, and unseparated into two natures. Thus we believe and thus we confess and thus we have faith that this body is for this blood and this blood is for this body.

Ouai pe Emmanouhl> ouo\ `foi `natvwrj menenca ;metouai> ouo\ `foi `natvw] `evucic `cnou;> pairh; tenna\;> pairh; tener`omologin> ke palin tenna\; je paicwma va pai`cnof pe> ouo\ pai`cnof va paicwma pe.

واحد هو عمانوئيل، وغير نفترق من بعد الإتحاد، وغير منقسم إلي طبيعتين. هكذا نؤمن وهكذا نعترف وهكذا نصدق أن هذا الجسد لهذا الدم وهذا الدم لهذا الجسد.

Thou art Christ our God who was pierced in His side with the spear on Golgotha at Jerusalem for our sake.

~Nqok pe Pi`xrictoc Pennou; `etauqokcf 'en pef`cvir ca`p]wi `n:golgoqa 'en Ieroucalhm eqbhten.

أنت هو المسيح إلهنا الذي طُعن فى جنيه بالحربة فوق الجلجثة بأورشليم لأجلنا.

Thou art the Word of God who lifts up the sin of the world. Forgive us our iniquities and leave behind our sins and establish us on Thy right side.

~Nqok pe pi\ihb `nte V; vhet`wli `m`vnobi `nte pikocmoc> `aricunxwrin `nnenparaptwma> xw `ebol `nnennobi> ouo\ mata\on `eraten caou`inam `mmok.

أنت هو حمل الله حامل خطية العالم، أغفر ذنوبنا وأترك خطايانا وأقمنا عن جانبك اليمين.

O God the Father of our Lord and God, Jesus Christ, who from cherubim is blessed and from seraphim is sanctified, and from thousands-of-thousands and ten-thousands-of-ten-housands of uttering servants is magnified.

V; ~Viwt `mPen_ Ihcouc Pi`xrictoc> vh`ete `ebol \iten niXeroubim ce`cmou `erof> ouo\ `ebol\iten niCeravim ceer`agai`azin `mmof> ouo\ `ebol \iten nianan]o `n]o nem nianan`qba `n`qba `nte niref]em]i `nlogikon cesacf.

يا الله أبا ربنا وإلهنا يسوع المسيح الذي من الكاروبيم يتبارك، ومن السيرافيم يتقدس، ومن ألوف ألوف وربوات ربوات الخدام الناطقين يتعظم.

Who sanctifies and perfects the oblations and completes the fruits which are offered unto Thee as a sweet aroma. Sanctify also all our bodies, souls and spirits.

Vhetafer`agi`azin ouo\ etjwk `ebol `nnidwron nem `pjwk `ebol `nte nikarpoc `etau`enou nak> `eou`cqo `n`cqoinoufi> `ari`agiazin on `nnencwma nem nenyuxh nem nen`pneuma thren.

الذى يقدس ويكمل القرابين وتكميل الأثمار التى قدمت لك رائحة لذيذة، قدس أيضاً أجسادنا وأنفسنا وأرواحنا كلنا.

That with a pure heart and an unashamed face, we may call unto Thee O God the heavenly Father and pray saying:

لكي بقلب طاهر ووجه غير مخزي ندعوك يا الله الآب السماوي ونصلي قائلين:

Our Father …

Je Peniwt ...

أبانا الذي ... إلخ.
