Deacon

Let those who read recite the names of our holy fathers, the patriarchs, who have fallen asleep. May the Lord, repose all their souls, and forgive us our sins.

القارئون فليقولوا أسماء آبائنا البطاركة القديسين الذين رقدوا. الرب ينيح نفوسهم أجمعين. ويغفر لنا خطايانا.

The priest says inaudibly

Remember, O Lord, our holy Orthodox fathers the archbishops who has fallen asleep.

Ari`vmeu`i ~P_ `nnenkeio; `eqouab `norqodo[oc ouo\ `narxi`epickopoc `etauer]orp `nenkot.

أذكر يا رب آباءنا القديسين الأرثوذكسيين رؤساء الأساقفة الذين سبقوا فأضطجعوا.

Those who has shaped the word of truth in righteousness.

Nai `etau]wt `ebol `m`pcaji `nte ;meqmhi 'en oucwouten.

هؤلاء الذين فصلوا كلمة الحق باستقامة.

Grant us also a share with them.

Ouo\ moi nan \wn `noumeroc nem ou`klhroc nemwou.

وأعطنا نحن أيضاً حظاً ونصيباً معهم.

Remembring also those whom we remember in this day.

Ek`iri on `m`vmeu`i `nnai `eten`iri `mpoumeu`i> 'en pai`e\oou `nte voou.

ذاكراً أيضاً هؤلاء الذين نذكرهم فى يومنا هذا.

The priest says the Diptych of the departed. Meanwhile, the deacon says

Pray for our fathers and brethren who have fallen asleep and reposed in the Faith of Christ since the begining: our holy fathers the archbishops and our fathers the bishops; our fathers the protopriests and our fathers the priests, and our brethren the deacons; our fathers the monks; and our fathers the laymen; and for the full repose of the Christians, that Christ our God may repose all their souls in the Paradise of Joy; and we too, accord mercy unto us, and forgive us our sins.

اطلبوا عن آبائنا وإخوتنا الذين رقدوا وتنيحوا فى الإيمان بالمسيح منذ البدء أبائنا القديسين رؤساء الأساقفة وأبائنا الأساقفة وأبائنا القمامصة وأبائنا العلمانيين وعن نياح كل المسيحيين لكى المسيح إلهنا ينيح نفوسهم أجمعين فى فردوس النعيم ونحن أيضا يصنع معنا رحمة ويغفر لنا خطايانا.

The priest wraps his right hand with a corporal and points towards the congregation, puts his left hand on the paten and looks towards the bread. Then he recites The Final Blessing on page 53. Meanwhile, the deacon says the commemoration of the Patriarches. When the priest finishes the blessing, he looks towards the altar and raises his hands. The deacon holds the cross up and says

The great Abba Antony, the righteous Abba Paul; the three saints Macarii, Abba John the Short, Abba Bishoy, Abba Paul, our holy Roman fathers Maximus and Dometius, Abba Moses, Abba John Kame, Abba Daniel, Abba Isidore, Abba Pachom, Abba Shenoute, Abba Pahnuti, Abba Parsooma, Abba Teji.

العظيم أنبا أنطونى والبار أنبا بولا والقديسون الثلاثة مقارات أنبا يوأنس القصير. أنبا بيشوى. أنبا بولا. أبوانا القديسان الروميان مكسيموس ودوماديوس أنبا موسى. أنبا يوأنس كاما. أنبا دانيال. أنبا ايسيذوروس. أنبا باخوم أنبا شنودة. وأنبا بفنوتى أنبا برسوم. أنبا رويس.

And all who have rightly taught the word of truth, the Orthodox bishops, priests, deacons, clergy, laity, and all the Orthodox people. Amen.

وجميع الذى علموا بكلمة الحق باستقامة، الأساقفة الأرثوذكسيون والقسوس والشمامسة والإكليروس والعلمانيون وهؤلاء وجميع الأرثوذكسيين. آمين.

Priest

Those, O Lord, and everyone whose names we have mentioned, and those whose names we have not mentioned.

Ouo\ nai nem ouon niben ~P_> nh`etantaou `enouran> nem nh`ete `mpentaou`wou.

وهؤلاء وكل أحد يارب الذين ذكرنا أسماءهم والذين لم نذكرهم.

Those whom each one has in mind and those who are not in our minds.

Nhet 'en `vmeu`i `mpiouai piouai `mmon> nem nh`ete `n'hten an.

الذين فى فكر كل أحد منا والذين ليسوا فى فكرنا.

And those who have fallen asleep and reposed in the faith of Christ.

Etauenkot au`mton `mmwou 'en `vna\; `mPi`xrictoc.

الذين رقدوا وتنيحوا فى الإيمان بالمسيح.

Graciously, O Lord, repose all their souls in the bosom of our holy fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Arikata[ioin ~P_ ma`mton `nnouyuxh throu> 'en kenf `nnenio; e/q/u/> Abraam nem Icaak nem Iakwb.

تفضل يا رب نيح نفوسهم جميعا فى أحضان آبائنا القديسين إبراهيم وإسحق ويعقوب.

Sustain them in a green pasture, by the water of rest, in the Paradise of Joy.

}anou]ou 'en ouma `n`xlo`h> \ijen `vmwou `nte `pemton> 'en piparadicoc `nte `pounof.

عُلهم جميعا فى موضع خضرة على ماء الراحة فى فردوس النعيم.

The place out of which grief, sorrow and groaning have fled away, in the light of Thy saints.

Pima `etafvwt `ebol`n'htf> `nje pi`mka\ `n\ht nem ;luph nem pifi`a\om> 'en `vouwini `nte nh`eqouab `ntak.

الموضع الذى هرب منه الحزن الكآبة والتنهد فى نور قديسيك.

The priest may continue from the prayer of the departed and says

Raise up their bodies also, on the day which Thou hast appointed, according to Thy true promises, which are without lie.

Ek`etounoc `ntoukecar[ 'en pi`e\oou `etakqa]f> kata nek`epaggeli`a `mmhi ouo\ `natmeqnouj.

أقم أجسادهم فى اليوم الذى رسمته كمواعيدك غير الكاذبة.

Grant them the good things of Thy promises; that which an eye has not seen nor ear heard, neither have come upon the heart of man.

Ek`eerxarizecqe nwou `nni`agaqon `nte nek`epaggeli`a> nh`ete `mpe bal nau `erwou> oude `mpe ma]j coqmou> oude `mpou`i `e`\rhi `ejen `p\ht `nrwmi.

هب لهم خيرات مواعيدك، ما لم تره عين وما لم تسمع به أذن ولم يخطر على قلب بشر.

The things which Thou, O God, hast prepared for them that love Thine Holy Name.

Nh`etakcebtwtou V; `nnheqmei `mpekran `eqouab.

ما أعددته يا الله لمحبى إسمك القدوس.

For there is no death for Thy servants, but departure.

Je `mmon mou ]op `nnek`ebiaik alla ouou`wteb `ebol pe.

لأنه لا يكون موت لعبيدك بل هو انتقال.

And if any negligence or heedlessness has overtaken them as men, since they were clothed in flesh and dwelt in this world.

Icje de ouon oumet`amelhc si `erwou> ie oumetat;`\qhf \wc rwmi> `eauervorin `noucar[ ouo\ au]wpi 'en paikocmoc.

وإن كان لحقهم توان أو تفريط كبشر وقد لبسوا جسدا وسكنوا فى هذا العالم.

Do Thou, O God, as a Good One, and Lover of mankind, graciously accord, O God, Thy servants the Orthodox Christians, who are in the whole world, from sunrise to sunset and from North to South, each one by his name and each one be her name, O Lord, repose them and forgive them.

فأنت كصالح ومحب البشر اللهم تفضل عبيدك المسيحيين الأرثوذكسيين الذين فى المسكونة كلها من مشارق الشمس إلى مغاربها ومن الشمال إلى الجنوب وكل واحد باسمه وكل واحدة باسمها يارب نيحهم واغفر لهم.

For none is pure from blemish even though his life on earth is a single day.

Je `mmon `\li efouab `eqwleb oude kan ou`e\oou `nouwt> pe pefwn' \ijen pika\i.

فإنه ليس أحد طاهرا من دنس ولو كانت حياته يوما واحدا على الأرض.

As for those, O Lord, whose souls Thou hast taken, repose them, and may they be worthy of the Kingdom of heavens.

~Nqwou men \am nh ~P_ `eaksi `nnouyuxh ma`mton nwou> ouo\ marouer`pem`p]a `n;metouro `nte nivhou`i.

أما هم يا رب الذين أخذت نفوسهم نسحهم وليستحقوا ملكوت السموات.

As for all of us, grant us our Christian perfection that would be pleasing unto Thee.

Anon de thren `arixarizecqe nan> `mpenjwk `n`xricti`anoc efranak `mpek`mqo.

وأما نحن كلنا فهب لنا كمالا مسيحيا يرضيك أمامك.

And give them, and us, a share and an inheritance with all Thy saints.

Ouo\ moi nwou neman `noumeroc> nem ou`klhroc nem nhe/q/u/ throu `ntak.

واعطهم وإيانا نصيبا وميراثا مع كافة قديسيك.

Congregation

As it was, and shall be, from generation to generation, and unto the ages of all ages. Amen.

كما كان هكذا يكون من جيل إلى جيل وإلى دهر الدهور. آمين.

Priest

So that as in this so also in all things Thy great and Holy Name be glorified, blessed and exalted, in every thing honoured and blessed, together with Jesus Christ, Thy beloved son and the Holy Spirit.

لكى بهذا كما ايضاً فى كل شئ يتمجد ويتبارك ويرتفع اسمك العظيم القدوس فى كل شئ كريم ومبارك مع يسوع المسيح ابنك الحبييب والروح القدس.

The priest greets the other priests and deacons, and says

Peace be with all.

السلام للكل.

And with your spirit.

ولروحك أيضا.
