The Confession

The priest lifts up the paten above his head and says

That this is the life-giving Flesh that Thou hast taken, O Christ my God, from our lady, the lady of us all, the holy Mother of God, Saint Mary.

أن هذا هو الجسد المحيى الذى أخذته أيها المسيح إلهى من سيدتنا كلنا والدة الإله القديسة الطاهرة مريم.

Thou hast made it one with Thy divinity without mingling, without confusion and without alteration.

وجعلته واحداً مع لاهوتك. بغير إختلاط ولا إمتزاج ولا تغيير.

Thou hast witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate.

وأعترف الإعتراف الحسن أمام بيلاطس البنطى.

Thou hast given It up for us upon the holy wood of the Cross, of Thine own will, for us all.

Akthic `e`\rhi `ejwn \ijen pi]e `eqouab `nte pi`ctauroc> 'en pekouw] `mmin `mmok `e`\rhi `ejwn thren.

وأسلمته عنا على خشبة الصليب المقدسة بإرادتك وحدك عنا كلنا.

Truly I believe that Thy divinity parted not from Thine Humanity for a single moment, nor a twinkling of an eye.

أؤمن أن لاهوتك لم يفارق ناسوتك لحظة واحدة ولا طرفة عين.

Given for us for salvation, remission of sins and eternal life to those who partake of Him.

يعطى عنا خلاصاً وغفراناً للخطايا. وحياة أبدية لمن بتناول منه.

المجد لك يارب المجد لك.

The congregation sings Psalm 150 and any selected hymn according to the occasion. Meanwhile, the priest and everyone else takes the communion of the holy body and the precious blood. The order of communion is the same as in the Liturgy of St. Basil. After the communion, the deacon says

Pray for the worthily communion of the the holy and pure heavenly myteries.
