Prayer of Thanksgiving for the Communion

After the communion, the congregation says the Prayer of Thanksgiving for the communion. The deacon says

Stand up for prayer.

Our mouth is filled with gladness and our tongue with rejoicing, for partaking from Thine immortal mysteries, O Lord.

فمنا امتلأ فرحاً ولساننا تهليلاً من أجل تناولنا من أسرارك غير المائتة يارب.

That which an eye has not seen, nor ear hear, neither have entered in the heart of man.

لأن ما لم تره عين ولم تسمع به أذن ولم يخطر على قلب بشر.

The things which Thou, O God, hast prepared for those who love Thine Holy Name, and hast revealed to the little children of Thine Holy Church.

ما أعددته يا الله لمحبى اسمك القدوس، هذا أعلنته للأطفال الصغار الذين لبيعتك المقدسة.

Yes, O Father, this is the pleasure before Thee, for Thou art merciful.

نعم أيها الآب إن هذه هى المسرة التى كانت أمامك لأنك رحيم.

We send up unto Thee Glory and Honor, O Father and Son and Holy Spirit.

ونرسل لك إلى فوق المجد والإكرام أيها الآب والإبن والروح القدس.

The priest says the prayer of the Laying of the Hands after the communion

Thy servants, O Lord, who are serving Thee, entreating Thine Holy Name and bowing down their heat to Thee.

عبيدك يارب هؤلاء الذى يخدمونك ويطلبون اسمك القدوس ويخضعون لك.

حل فيهم يارب وسر بينهم. ساعدهم فى كل عمل صالح.

انهض قلوبهم من كل فكر ردئ أرضى.

Grant them to live and think of what is pertaining to the living and understand the things that are Thine.

امنحهم أن يحيوا ويفكروا فى ما للأحياء ويفهموا ما هو لك.

Through Thine Only-Begotten Son, our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The priest cleanses the vessels of the altar, holds some water in his hands and says

O angel of this sacrifice, flying up to the highest with this hymn, remember us before the Lord, that He may forgive us our sins.

يا ملاك هذه الصعيدة الطائر إلى العلو بهذه التسبحة أذكرنا قدام الرب ليغفر لنا خطايانا.

The congregation says the Conclusion of the Service on page 52 and the priest says the Final Blessing on page 53. Then the priest gives permission for the congregation to leave and distributes the eulogion. Finally, the priest proceeds around the altar once and says Psalm forty six

O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

صعد الله بتهليل. والرب بصوت البوق.

God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness. The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham.

الله جلس على كرسيه المقدس. رؤساء الشعوب إجتمعوا مع إله إبراهيم.
