Prayer for the Oblations

The prayer of the oblations is said in the Matins Incense instead of that of the travellers on main feasts, Sundays and whenever the offerings are present. If it is not said in the Matins Incense, it is said inaudibly before the prayer of the Praxis. The priest stands before the sanctuary, looks towards the east and says

Again, let us ask God the Pantocrator, the Father of our Lord, God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

نسأل ونطلب من صلاحك يا محب البشر.

As Thou hast received the offerings of the righteous Abel, the sacrifice of our father Abraham and the two mites of the widow.

So also receive the thank-offerings of Thy servants; those in abundance or those in scarcity, hidden or manifest.

هكذا أيضا نذور عبيدك اقبلها إليك، أصحاب الكثير وأصحاب القليل الخفيات والظاهرات.

Those who desire to offer to Thee but have none, and those who have offered these gifts to Thee this very day.

Nheqouw] `e`ini nak `e'oun ouo\ `mmon `ntwou> nem nh`etau`ini nak voou `nnaidwron nai.

والذين يريدون أن يقدموا لك وليس لهم والذين قدموا لك فى هذا اليوم هذه القرابين.

Give them the incorruptible, the heavenly instead of the earthly and the eternal instead of the temporal.

Moi nwou `nniattako `n`t]ebi`w `nnheqnatako> na nivho`i `n`t]ebi`w `nna `pka\i> ni]a`ene\ `n`t]ebi`w `nni`procouchou.

أعطهم الباقيات عوض الفانيات، السمائيات عوض الأرضيات، الأبديات عوض الزمنيات.

Their houses and their stores, fill them with every good thing.

بيوتهم ومخازنهم املأها من كل الخيرات.

Surround them, O Lord, by the power of Thine holy angels and archangels.

أحطهم يا رب بقوة ملائكتك ورؤساء ملائكتك الأطهار.

As they have remembered Thine Holy Name on earth, remember them also, O Lord, in Thy kingdom, and in this age too, leave them not behind.
