Who forgives our sins, redeems our life from corruption, and crowns us with mercies and compassions.

غافر خطايانا. منقذ حياتنا من الفساد. مكللنا بالمراحم والرأفات.

أنت الذى السلاطين تنطق بمجدك.

Thou art He unto Whom the thrones send up the honor.

أنت الذى الكراسى ترسل لك الكرامة.

Thousands of thousands stand before Thee, and ten thousand times ten thousand offer Thee service.

ألوف ألوف وقوف قدامك. وربوات ربوات يقدمون لك الخدمة.

Thou art He Whom the invisible bless.

Who revealed to us this great mystery of life.

الذى أظهر لنا هذا السر العظيم الذى للحياة.

Who established the rising of the choirs of the incorporeal among men.

Vh`etaftajro `n;metref`o\i `eratf `nte `pxoroc `nte ni`acwmatoc 'en nirwmi.

الذى ثبت قيام صفوف غير المتجسدين فى البشر.

Who gave those on earth the praising of the Seraphim.

Vh`etaf; `nnhet \ijen pika\i `n;metref\wc `nte Niceravim.

الذى أعطى الذى على الأرض تسبيح السارافيم.

Receive from us also our voices, together with the invisible.

Si `ntoten \wn `nten`cmh nem niaqnau `erwou.

إقبل منا نحن أيضاً أصواتنا مع غير الرئيين.

Count us with the heavenly hosts.

Opten nem nidunamic et 'en nivhou`i.

إحسبنا مع القوات السمائية.

Let us also say with those, having cast away from us all the thoughts of the evil imagination.

Marenjoc \wn nem nh `ete `mmau> `ean\iou`i cabol `mmon `mmeu`i niben `nte nilogicmoc `n`atopon.

ولنقل نحن أيضاً مع أولئك إذ قد طرحنا عنا كل أفكار الخواطر الشريرة.

And proclaim that which they send with incessant voices and unfailing lips, and praise Thy greatness.

With two they cover their faces, and with two they cover their feet, and with two they fly. And one cry unto another.

فبجناحين يغطون وجوههم. وبإثنين يغطون أرجلهم. ويطيرون بإثنين. ويصرخون واحد قابلة واحد منهم.

They utter the hymn of victory and redemption, which pertains to us, with a voice full of glory.

Eutaou`o `mpi\umnoc `nte pi`srp ouo\ `noujai `ntan> 'en ou`cmh ecme\ `n`wou.

يرسلون تسبحة الغلبة والخلاص الذى لنا بصوت ممتلئ مجداً.

They praise and sing. They proclaim and declare saying.

يسبحون وينشدون ويصرخون ويصوتون قائلين.

The congregation responds with the Aspasmos Watos according to the occasion. For annual days, the congregation may respond with the long Aspasmos Watos from the Liturgy of St. Basil on page 119, and then continues with the short Aspasmos and says

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord of Hosts. Heaven and earth are full of Thine holy glory.

قدوس قدوس قدوس رب الصباؤوت، السماء والأرض مملوءتان من مجدك الأقدس.

Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is He who has come and is coming in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

هوشعنا فى الأعالى. مبارك الذى أتى وسيأتى بإسم الرب. هوشعنا فى الأعالى.

The priest puts down the corporal in his left hand on the altar, and moves the one in his right hand to the left hand. Then, he holds the corporal covering the chalice in his right hand. The priest signs three times with his right hand. In the first time, he signs himself. In the second time, he signs the clergy. In the third time, he signs the congregation while towards the west. In every time, he says

Holy.

قدوس.

If another priest is present, he proceeds once around the altar with the censer. Then the priest covers the chalice and says

Holy, Holy, art Thou, O Lord, and Holy art Thou in everything, and most elect is the light of Thine Essence.

قدوس قدوس أنت أيها الرب وقدوس فى كل شئ. وبالأكثر مختار هو نور جوهريتك.

Unutterable is the power of Thy wisdom, and no manner of speech can measure the depth of Thy love toward mankind.

وغير موصوفة هى قوة حكمتك. وليس شئ من النطق يستطيع أن يحد لجة محبتك للبشر.

Thou, as Lover of mankind, hast created me a man. Thou hast no need of my servitude, but rather, I need Thy Lordship.

خلقتنى إنساناً كمحب البشر ولم تكن أنت محتاجا إلى عبوديتى بل أنا المحتاج إلى ربوبيتك.

Because of the multitude of Thy tender mercies, Thou broughtest me into being whence I was not.

من أجل تعطفاتك الجزيلة كونتنى إذلم أكن.

Thou hast raised heaven as a roof for me.

Established the earth for me to walk on.

ثبتّ لى الأرض لأمشى عليها.

For my sake, Thou hast bridled the sea.

من أجلى الجمت البحر.

For my sake, Thou hast manifested the nature of animals.

Eqbht akouwn\ `ebol `n`tvucic `nnizwon.

من أجلى أظهرت طبيعة الحيوان.

Thou hast subjected all things under my feet.

Akqbi`o `nenxai niben capecht `nnasalauj.

أخضعت كل شئ تحت قدمى.

Thou hast not left me in need of anything of the works of Thine honor.

Mpekxat ei]at `n`\li 'en ni`\bhou`i `nte pektai`o.

لم تدعنى معوزاً شيئاً من أعمال كرامتك.

Thou art He who formed me.

أنت الذى جبلتنى.

And laid Thine hand upon me.

ووضعت يدك علىّ.

And inscribed in me the image of Thine authority.

وكتبت فىّ صورة سلطانك.

Thou hast placed in me the gift of speech.

Akxw `mpidwron `n'ht `nte picaji.

ووضعت فىّ موهبة النطق.

And opened unto me the Paradise to enjoy.

Akouwn `mpiparadicoc nhi `eounof.

وفتحت لى الفردوس لأتنعم.

And hast committed to me the percepts of Thy knowledge.

Ak; `etot `n;metref;`cbw `nte pek`emi.

وأعطيتنى علم معرفتك.

Thou hast manifested to me the tree of life.

Akouwn\ nhi `ebol `mpi`]]hn `nte `pwn'.

أظهرت لى شجرة الحياة.

And made known unto me the sting of death.

Aktamoi `e`tcouri `m`vmou.

وعرفتنى شوكة الموت.

One plant hast Thou forbidden me to eat of.

Outwji `nouwt pe `etak]a]t `e`]temouwm `ebol`n'htf.

غرس واحد نهيتنى أن آكل منه.

That which Thou hast said unto me, “Do not eat of it only.”

Vai `etakjoc nhi je `mperouwm `ebol `n'htf `mmauatf.

هذا الذى قلت لى لا تأكل منه وحده.

I did eat, according to my will.

Aiouwm 'en paouw].

فأكلت بإرادتى.

I put away from me Thy law out of my counsel.

Aixw `ncwi `mpeknomoc 'en ta`gnwmh.

وتركتُ عنى ناموسك برأيى.

And neglected Thy commandments.

وتكاسلت عن وصاياك.

I plucked for myself the sentence of death.

أنا إختطفت لى قضية الموت.

ربطتنى بكل الأدوية المؤدية إلى الحياة.

Thou art He Who hast sent unto me the prophets, for my sake, I the sick.

أنت الذى أرسلت لى الأنبياء من أجلى أنا المريض.

Thou hast given me the Law as a help.

أعطيتنى الناموس عوناً.

Thou art He Who ministered unto me the salvation: when I disobeyed Thy Law.

أنت الذى خدمت لى الخلاص لما خالفت ناموسك.

As a true Light, Thou hast shone upon the ignorant and them that are out of the way.

كنور حقيقى أشرقت للضالين وغير العارفين.

أبطلت الخطية بالجسد.

بذلت ظهرك للسياط.
