O Master, Lord, God the Pantocrator, Healer of our souls, our bodies, and spirits.

أيها السيد الرب الإله ضابط الكل شافى نفوسنا وأجسادنا وأرواحنا.

Thou art he who said unto our father Peter through the mouth of Thy Only-Begotten son, our Lord, God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

أنت الذى قلت لأبينا بطرس من فم ابنك الوحيد ربنا وإلهنا ومخلصنا يسوع المسيح.

“That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

أنت هو بطرس وعلى هذه الصخرة أبنى كنيستي، وأبواب الجحيم لن تقوى عليها.

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven.

وأعطيك مفاتيح ملكوت السموات.

And whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

وما ربطته على الأرض يكون مربوطاً فى السماء، وما حللته على الأرض يكون محلولاً فى السموات.

Therefore, O Lord, let Thy servants, my fathers, my brethren and my own weakness, be absolved by my mouth, through Thine Holy Spirit, O Thou, Good and Lover of mankind.

O God, who takes away the sin of the world, hasten, to accept the repentance of Thy servants for a light of understanding and forgiveness of sins.

اللهم يا حامل خطية العالم ابدأ بقبول توبة عبيدك منهم نوراً للمعرفة وغفراناً للخطايا.

For Thou art a compassionate and merciful God; Thou art patient; Thy mercy is great and true.

لأنك أنت إله رؤوف رحوم. أنت طويل الأناة كثير الرحمة وبار.

The priest mentions the names of those he wishes to remember and continues

From every curse, from every denial, from every false oath, and from every encounter with the heretics and the heathens.

The priest may say the commemoration in the Liturgy of St. Gregory until the phrase “…repose them.” Then the priest continues

Remember, O Lord, my own weakness and forgive my many sins, and where transgression has abounded, let Thy grace be multiplied in abundance. Because of my own sins and the abomination of my heart, deprive not Thy people of the grace of Thine Holy Spirit.

Then the priest continues the absolution and says

Absolve us and absolve all Thy people.

حاللنا وحالل كل شعبك.

The priest says the two short prayers of the peace and the fathers inaudibly. Then he continues with the prayer of the congregation and says

Remember, O Lord, our congregations; bless them.

أذكر يارب اجتماعتنا باركها.

The deacon holds the cross and says

Saved, Amen. And with your spirit. In the fear of God, let us attend.

خلصت حقاً. ومع روحك. ننصت بخوف الله.

Congregation

Amen. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy.

آمين. يارب ارحم. يارب ارحم. يارب ارحم.

The priest raises the bodikin high up and says

The Holies are for the holy.

Ta `agi`a tic `agiic.

القدسات للقديسين.

The congregation bows down to the ground in fear and trembling asking for the forgiveness of the Lord. The priest takes the bodikin with the tip of his fingers and signs the cross on the blood in the chalice. Then he slightly dips the bodikin into the blood and raises it. Then he signs the sign of the cross on the entire body with the bodikin. Then he takes the bodikin back near the chalice and signs the sign of the cross on top of the blood. Finally, he slowly immerses the bodikin into the blood face down and leaves it in the chalice. The priest make all this while his left hand is held under the bodikin to catch any drop of the precious blood falling from it. Meanwhile, the priest says

Blessed be the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God, the sanctification of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Euloghtoc Kurioc Ihcouc Xrictoc `uioc Qeou `agiacmoc ~Pneuma `agion> `amhn.

مبارك الرب يسوع المسيح ابن الله وقدوس الروح القدس. آمين.

The congregation stands up and says

One is the All-Holy Father. One is the All-Holy Son. One is the All-Holy Spirit. Amen.

واحد هو الآب الكلى القدوس. واحد هو الابن الكلى القدوس. واحد هو الروح الكلى القدس. آمين.

Or the congregation says

Amen. One is the Holy Father. One is the Holy Son. One is the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The priest covers the body with a corporal and says

Peace be with all.

السلام للكل.

And with your spirit.

Ke tw `pneuma ti cou.

ولروحك ايضاً.

The priest takes the middle separated one third of the body, from which the bodikin was separated, and cuts it into three pieces. If the three pieces are large, he cuts three small pieces from any of them. He puts the three little pieces of the body in his left hand and covers them with his right hand while they are on top of the paten. Then he says

The holy Body and the precious and true Blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of our God. Amen.
