O the begetter of light and prince of life, the giver of knowledge.

صانع النعمة، المحسن لنفوسنا، كنز الحكمة.

Teacher of purity, founder of the ages and the acceptor of pure prayers.

Piref;`cbw `ne pitoubo> piref\icen; `nte ni`ene\>piref]wp `erof `nni`]lhl ettoubhout.

معلم الطهارة، مؤسس الدهور، قابل الصلوات النقية.

Who gives to those who wholeheartedly rely on Him, the things which the angels desire to visualise.

معطي المتوكلين عليه من كل قلوبهم الأشياء التي تشتهي الملائكة أن تراها.

Who uplifted us from the depths to the light, who gave us life instead of death.

الذى أصعدنا من العمق إلى النور، الذي أعطانا الحياة من الموت.

And who graced us with the freedom from slavery.

الذى أنعم علينا بالعتق من العبودية.

Who caused the dim prayer in us to shine, prior to the coming of Thine only Son in body.

Vh`etaf`qre pixaki `ete `n'hten `nte ;`planh `erouwini> \iten `tparouci`a 'en `tcar[ `mpekmonogenhc `n}hri.

الذي جعل ظلمة الصلاة التي فينا تضئ من قبل إتيان ابنك الوحيد بالجسد.

Now also O our Master, enlighten the eyes of our hearts, purify us and give us the perfection in soul, body and spirit.

أنت الآن أيضاً يا سيدنا أنر عيون قلوبنا وطهرنا كاملين في النفس والجسد والورح.

So that with a pure heart and clean lips, we dare in intimacy to call Thee O God the Holy Father who art in Heaven and say:

لكى بقلب طاهر وشفتين نقيتين، نجسر بدالة أن ندعوك يا الله الآب الذى فى السموات ونقول:

Our Father …

أبانا الذى ... إلخ.
