First Absolution of the Son

Meanwhile, the priest holds the cross, looks towards the east and says the three absolutions to the Son. The priest says

لأنك أنت هو ملكنا أيها المسيح إلهنا.

And Thou art He to whom we ascribe the glory and the honour, O Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Life-Giver, Who is of One Essence with Thee.

وأنت الذى نرسل لك إلى فوق المجد والإكرام أيها الآب والابن والروح القدس المحيى المساوى لك.
