The Confession

The priest lifts up the paten above his head and says

Amen. Amen. Amen. I believe, I believe, I believe and confess to the last breath.

آمين. آمين. آمين. أؤمن أؤمن أؤمن واعترف إلى النفس الأخير.

That this is the life-giving body that Thine Only-Begotten Son, our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

واعترف الاعتراف الحسن أمام بيلاطس البنطى.

He gave It up for us upon the holy wood of the cross, of His own will, for us all.

وأسلمه عنا على خشبة الصليب المقدسة بإرادته وحده عنا كلنا.

Truly I believe that his divinity parted not from his humanity for a single moment nor a twinkling of an eye.

بالحقيقة أؤمن أن لاهوته لم يفارق ناسوته لحظة واحدة ولا طرفة عين.

يعطى عنا خلاصاً وغفراناً للخطايا وحياة أبدية لكل من يتناول منه.

The priest puts the three pieces of the body that were in his hand into the paten and puts the pieces of the body back together. The priest must make sure that there is no any tiny pieces of the body go stuck to his nads. Then the priest puts the dome on the paten, covers the paten and chalice with corporals and says inaudibly

For at all time, all glory, all honour and all worship due to the Holy Trinity, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Meanwhile, the deacon says

Congregation

Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee.

Do[a ci Kuri`e do[a ci.

المجد لك يارب المجد لك.

The priest bows his head on top of the altar and greets the other priests, the deacons and the congregation unto the right and unto the left. The congregation sings the Psalm 150 followed any selected hymn according to the occasion. The priest looks towards the altar and uncovers the part of the paten in front of him, asks the Christ our Lord to me him and the rest of those who are partaking the communion to be worthy of it and deserve the remission of sins throught the flesh and blood of the Christ. The priest starts the communion and, before he takes it, he says

Absolve, remit and forgive us our sins which we have done willingly and unwillingly, and those which we committed knowingly and unknowingly, the hidden and the visible. O Lord, forgive us for the sake of Thine Holy Name that is called upon us.

حل واغفر واصفح لنا يا الله عن زلاتنا التى صنعناها بإرادتنا والتى صنعناها بغير إرادتنا، التى فعلناها بمعرفة والتى فعلناها بغير معرفة، الخفية والظاهرة، يارب اغفرها لنا من أجل اسمك القدوس الذى دعى علينا.

According to Thy mercy and not to our sins.

Also, before the communion, the priest says

Author of Life and King of the ages, Word (Logos) of God the Father, our Lord, God, and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Parxhgoc `nte `pwn' ouo\ `pouro `nte ni`ene\> pilogoc `nte V; ~Viwt Pen_ ouo\ Pennou; ouo\ Pencwthr Ihcouc Pi`xrictoc.

يا رئيس الحياة وملك الدهور، كلمة الله الآب، ربنا وإلهنا ومخلصنا يسوع المسيح.

The true bread, which came down from Heaven. Who give life to those who partake of Him.

الخبز الحقيقى الذى نزل من السماء واهب الحياة لمن يتناوله.

Make us worthy, without falling into condemnation, to partake of Thine holy body and Thy precious blood.

Ariten nem`p]a at`sne \iou`i `m`p\ap> eqrensi `ebol'en pekcwma `eqouab nem pek`cnof ettaihout.

اجعلنا أهلاً، بغير وقوع فى دينونة ، أن نتناول من جسدك المقدس ودمك الكريم.

May our partaking of Thine holy mysteries make us worthy with Thee unto the end and bless us.

Mare penjinsi `ebol'en nekmucthrion `eqouab> aiten `nouai nemak ]a `ebol> ek`e`cmou `eron.

وليصيرنا تناولنا من أسرارك المقدسة واحداً معك إلى الإنقضاء وباركنا.

Thou art the Son of God. Thine is the Glory, with Him and the Holy Spirit, the Giver of life, forever. Amen.

Also, before the communion, the priest says

Make us all worth, O our Master, to partake of Thine holy body and precious blood unto the purification of our souls, bodies and spirits, and unto the remission of our sins and iniquities, that we may be one body and one spirit with Thee.

اجعلنا مستحقين كلنا يا سيدنا أن نتناول من جسدك المقدس ودمك الكريم طهارة لأنفسنا وأجسادنا وأرواحنا ومغفرة لخطايانا وآثامنا لكى نكون جسداً واحداً وروحاً واحداً معك.

Glory to Thee, with Thy Good Father and the Holy Spirit forever. Amen.

المجد لك مع أبيك الصالح والروح القدس إلى الأبد. آمين.

The priest starts giving the communion to those in the sanctuary first. When the priest gives the holy body, he says

The body of Emmanuel, our God. This is true. Amen.

Picwma `nte Cmmanouhl Pennou; vai pe 'en oumeqmehi> `amhn.

الجسد الذى لعمانوئيل إلهنا هذا هو بالحقيقة. آمين.

When the priest gives the precious blood, he says

The blood of Emmanuel, our God. This is true. Amen.

Pi`cnof `nte Cmmanouhl Pennou; vai pe 'en oumeqmehi> `amhn.

الدم الذى لعمانوئيل إلهنا هذا هو بالحقيقة. آمين.

When the priest gives the holy body mixed with the precious blood, he says

The body and blood of Emmanuel, our God. This is true. Amen.

Picwma nem pi`cnof `nte Cmmanouhl Pennou; vai pe 'en oumeqmehi> `amhn.

الجسد والدم اللذان لعمانوئيل إلهنا هذا هو بالحقيقة. آمين.

In any of the cases, whoever takes the communion says “Amen.” When the priest, comes out of the sanctuary with either the holy body or the precious blood, the deacon and the congregation bows down and says

Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
