Who is among you that fears the Lord? let him hearken to the voice of his servant: ye that walk in darkness, and have no light, trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon God. Behold, ye all kindle a fire, and feed a flame: walk in the light of your fire, and in the flame which ye have kindled. This has happened to you for my sake; ye shall lie down in sorrow.

من منكم يخشى الرب فليسمع لصوت ابنة: أيها السالكون في الظلمة ولا نور لهم، أنظروا إلى النور وتولكلوا على اسم الرب وتقووا بالله. فهوذا أنتم كلكم تضرمونا ناراً وتشعلون لهيب النار فأمشوا في ضوء ناركم، واللهيب الذي أضرمتموه قد حل بكم من أجلى. فتنامون في حزن.

Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, and seek the Lord: look to the solid rock, which ye have hewn, and to the hole of the pit which ye have dug. Look to Abraam your father, and to Sarrha that bore you: for he was alone when I called him, and blessed him, and loved him, and multiplied him. And now I will comfort thee, O Sion: and I have comforted all her desert places; and I will make her desert places as a garden, and her western places as the garden of the Lord; they shall find in her gladness and exultation, thanksgiving and the voice of praise.

اسمعوا لى أيها المسرعون وراء العدل والطالبون الرب، أنظروا إلى الصخرة الصلبة التي منها قطعتم. وإلى نقرة الجب التي منها حفرتم. أنظروا إلى ابراهيم أبيكم وسارة التي ولدتكم لأنى دعوته وهو واجد وباركته وأحييته وأكثرته. وانت أيضاً يا صهيون فقد عزيتك الان وزينت جميع مواضعك المقفرة وسأجعل جميع قفارك كفردوس الرب، ويوجد فيك الفرح والتهليل والاعتراف وصوت التسبيح.

Hear me, hear me, my people; and ye kings, hearken to me: for a law shall proceed from me, and my judgment shall be for a light of the nations. My righteousness speedily draws nigh, and my salvation shall go forth as light, and on mine arm shall the Gentiles trust: the isles shall wait for me, and on mine arm shall they trust. Lift up your eyes to the sky, and look on the earth beneath: for the sky was darkened like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and the inhabitants shall die in like manner: but my righteousness shall not fail.

إسمع إسمع يا شعبى وانصتوا إلى أيها الملوك، فإن الشريعة تخرج منى وحكمى نور للأمم وعدلى يقترب سريعا وخلاصى يظهر مثل النور، وعلى ذراعى تتوكل الأمم وإياى تنتظر الجزائر وعلى ذراعى تتكل. إرجعوا إلى السماء أعينكم وانظروا إلى الأرض من تحت، وانظروا كيف أن السماء كالدخان وهو ثابت والأرض تبى كالثوب وسكانها يموتون كذلك وأما خلاصى فيكون إلى الأبد وعدلى لا يفنى.

Hear me, ye that know judgment, the people in whose heart is my law: fear not the reproach of men, and be not overcome by their contempt. For as a garment will be devoured by time, and as wool will be devoured by a moth, so shall they be consumed; but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation for all generations.

اسمعوا لى يا عارفى الحكم وشعبى الذي ناموسى في قلوبكم لا تخشوا تعيير الناس ولا تغتموا من رذائلهم لأنهم كالثوب يبلون في زمان، وكالرداء يأكلهم العث، أما عدلى فإلى الأبد يكون وخلاصى من جيل إلى جيل.

طوبى للمساكين بالروح فان لهم ملكوت السموات طوبى للحزانى فانهم يتعزون. طوبى للودعاء فانهم يرثون الأرض. طوبى للجياع والعطاش ومن أجل البر فانهم يشبعون طوبى للرحماء فانهم يرحمون. طوبى للاتقياء القلوب فانهم يعاينون الله. طوبى لصانعى السلام فانهم أبناء الله يدعون. طوبى للمطرودين من أجل البر فإن لهم ملكوت السموات. طوباكم إذا طردوكم وعيروكم وقالوا عليكم كل كلمة شريرة من أجلى كاذبين. افرحوا وتهللوا فإن أجركم عظيم في السموات.
