Genesis 48:1-19

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲙ̅ⲏ̅:ⲁ̅-ⲓ̅ⲑ̅

تكوين ٤٨ : ١ – ١٩

And it came to pass after these things, that it was reported to Joseph, Behold, thy father is ill; and, having taken his two sons, Manasse and Ephraim, he came to Jacob. And it was reported to Jacob, saying, Behold, thy son Joseph cometh to thee; and Israel having strengthened himself, sat upon the bed. And Jacob said to Joseph, My God appeared to me in Luza, in the land of Chanaan, and blessed me, and said to me, Behold, I will increase thee, and multiply thee, and will make of thee multitudes of nations; and I will give this land to thee, and to thy seed after thee, for an everlasting possession. Now then thy two sons, who were born to thee in the land of Egypt, before I came to thee into Egypt, are mine; Ephraim and Manasse, as Ruben and Symeon they shall be mine. And the children which thou shalt beget hereafter, shall be in the name of their brethren; they shall be named after their inheritances. And as for me, when I came out of Mesopotamia of Syria, Rachel, thy mother, died in the land of Chanaan, as I drew night to the horse-course of Chabratha of the land of Chanaan, so as to come to Ephratha; and I buried her in the road of the course; this is Bethlehem.

Ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲉ Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲓⲱⲧ ϣ̀ⲑⲉⲣⲑⲱⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓϭⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓ 2 Ⲙⲁⲛⲁⲥⲥⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲉⲫⲣⲉⲙ ⲁϥⲓ̀ ϩⲁ Ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ. Ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲉ Ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ⲡⲉⲕϣⲏⲣⲓ ϥ̀ⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϫⲉⲙⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲁϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϭ̀ⲗⲟϫ. Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲛ̀Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲗⲟⲩⲍⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲬⲁⲛⲁⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ. Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲑ̀ⲣⲉⲕⲁⲓⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲑ̀ⲣⲉⲕⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲁⲓⲕ ⲉ̀ϩⲁⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩⲧⲥ ⲛ̀ϣ̀ⲗⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉⲕϫ̀ⲣⲟϫ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲱⲕ ⲉⲩⲁ̀ⲙⲁϩⲓ ⲛ̀ⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ. Ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲡⲉⲕϣⲏⲣⲓ 2 ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ ϧⲉⲛ ⲭⲏⲙⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲛⲉ Ⲉⲫⲣⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲙⲁⲛⲁⲥⲥⲏ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀Ⲣⲟⲩⲃⲏⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲤⲩⲙⲉⲱⲛ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ. Ⲛⲓϫ̀ⲫⲟ ⲇⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲛⲁϫ̀ⲫⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲟⲩⲕ̀ⲗⲏⲣⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏ. Ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲓⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ Ϯⲙⲉⲥⲟⲡⲟⲇⲓⲁ̀ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ϯⲥⲩⲣⲓⲁ: ⲁⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲣⲁⲭⲏⲗ ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛ̀Ⲭⲁⲛⲁⲁⲛ: ⲉⲓⲛⲁϧⲱⲛⲧ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲇⲣⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲭⲁⲃⲣⲁⲑⲁ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲑⲟⲙⲥⲥ ϩⲓ ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲇⲣⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲃⲏⲑⲗⲉⲉⲙ.

وحدث بعد هذه الأمور أنهم أخبروا يوسف قائلين : إن أباك مضطرب. فأخذ إبنيه منسي وأفرايم وجاء إلي يعقوب، فأخبروا يعقوب قائلين له : هوذا إبنك يوسف قادم إليك. فتشدد إسرائيل وجلس علي السرير. فقال يعقوب ليوسف. إن إلهي ظهر لي في لوز في أرض كنعان وباركني وقال لي أنا أنميك وأكثرك واجعلك جمهوراً من الأمم وأعطي هذه الأرض لك ولنسلك من بعدك ملكاً أبدياً، والآن فإبناك اللذان صارا لك في أرض مصر قبل قدومي إليك إلي أرض مصر هما لي، أفرايم ومنسي مثل رأوبين وشمعون يكونان لي، ومن يولد بعدهما من البنين فإنه يكون لك ويدعون بإسم إخوتهم في ميراثهم،وأنا حين جئت من بين نهري سورية ماتت راحيل أمك في أرض كنعان، وأنا قريب من حدود أفراثا ودفنتها علي قارعة طريق بيت لحم.

And when Israel saw the sons of Joseph, he said, Who are these to thee? And Joseph said to his father, They are my sons, whom God gave me here; and Jacob said, Bring me them, that I may bless them. Now the eyes of Israel were dim through age, and he could not see; and he brought them near to him, and he kissed them, and embraced them. And Israel said to Joseph, Behold, I have not been deprived of seeing thy face, and lo! God has showed me thy seed also. And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and they did reverence to him, with their face to the ground. And Joseph took his two sons, both Ephraim in his right hand, but on the left of Israel, and Manasse on his left hand, but on the right of Israel, and brought them near to him. But Israel having stretched out his right hand, laid it on the head of Ephraim, and he was the younger; and his left hand on the head of Manasse, guiding his hands crosswise.

Ⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲕ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ. Ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁ Ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ϫⲉ ⲁ̀ⲛⲓⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ. Ⲛⲉ ⲁⲩϩ̀ⲣⲟϣ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲃⲁⲗ ⲛ̀Ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲙⲉⲧϧⲉⲗⲗⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲩ ⲙ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲑ̀ⲣⲟⲩϧⲱⲛⲧ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϯⲫⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲁⲙⲁⲗⲏϫ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ. Ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲛ̀Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ϫⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩϣⲟⲛϩⲧ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕϩⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁ̀ Ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲧⲁⲙⲟⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲕϫ̀ⲣⲟϫ. Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ̀ Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ϩⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲁ̀ⲗⲱϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲟⲩϩⲟ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ. Ⲁ̀ Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ⲇⲉϭⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲥ̀ⲛⲁⲩ ⲁϥⲭⲁ Ⲉⲫⲣⲉⲙ ⲥⲁϫⲁ ⲁϭⲏ ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ: Ⲙⲁⲛⲁⲥⲥⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲁϥⲑ̀ⲣⲟⲩϧⲱⲛⲧ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ. Ⲁ̀ Ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲛ̀Ⲉⲫⲣⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉϥϫⲁϭⲏ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲙ̀Ⲙⲁⲛⲁⲥⲥⲏ ⲉ̀ⲁϥϣⲉⲃⲧ ⲛⲉϥϫⲓϫ.

ولما رأي إسرائيل إبني يوسف قال : من هذان ؟. فقال يوسف لأبيه : هما ولدان اللذان وهبهما الله لي ههنا. فقال يعقوب : قدمهما إلي لأباركهما.وكانت عينا يعقوب قد ثقلتا من الشيخوخة ولا يقدر أن يبصر، فقربهما إليه فقبلهما وإحتضنهما، وقال إسرائيل ليوسف :هوذا أنا لم أحرم أن أري وجهك، وهوذا الرب قد أراني نسلك. ثم أخرجهما يوسف من بين فخذيه وسجدا له بوجهيهما إلي الأرض وأخذ يوسف ولديه وجعل أفرايم عن يسار إسرائيل، ومنسي عن يمين إسرائيل، فمد إسرائيل يمينه ووضعهما علي رأس أفرايم وهو الصغير ويساره علي رأس منسي، وخالف يديه. مع أن منسي هو البكر.

And he blessed them and said, The God in whose sight my fathers were well pleasing, even Abraam and Isaac, the God who continues to feed me from my youth until this day; the angel who delivers me from all evils, bless these boys, and my name shall be called upon them, and the name of my fathers, Abraam and Isaac; and let them be increased to a great multitude on the earth. And Joseph having seen that his father put his right hand on the head of Ephraim—it seemed grievous to him; and Joseph took hold of the hand of his father, to remove it from the head of Ephraim to the head of Manasse. And Joseph said to his father, Not so, father; for this is the first-born; lay thy right-hand upon his head. And he would not, but said, I know it, son, I know it.

Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ Ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲏ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁ ⲛⲁⲓⲟϯ ⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲙ̀ⲑⲟ Ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲓⲥⲁⲁⲕ Ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧϣⲁⲛϣ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲁⲙⲉⲧⲁ̀ⲗⲟⲩ ϣⲁ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ. Ⲡⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲓⲁ̀ⲗⲱⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫ̀ⲣⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓⲟϯ Ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲓⲥⲁⲁⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲁ̀ϣⲁⲓ ⲉⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲁ̀ϣⲁⲓ ⲉϥⲟϣ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ. Ⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ϫⲉ ⲁ̀ ⲡⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ ⲧⲁⲗⲉ ⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲛ̀Ⲉⲫⲣⲉⲙ ⲁ̀ ⲡⲓϩⲱⲃ ϩ̀ⲣⲟϣ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ̀ Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧ̀ϫⲓϫ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ ⲁϥⲟⲗⲥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲛ̀Ⲉⲫⲣⲉⲙ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲙ̀Ⲙⲁⲛⲁⲥⲥⲏ. Ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙ̀ⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲭⲁ ⲧⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲁ̀ⲫⲉ. Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ϯⲉ̀ⲙⲓ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ϯⲉ̀ⲙⲓ.

وباركهما، وقال : اللهم الذي أحسن أمامه أبواي إبراهيم وإسحق، الله الذي عالني منذ صباي إلي هذا اليوم، الملاك الذي خلصني من كل شر يبارك علي هذين الغلامين، ويدعي إسمي عليهما وإسم أبواي إبراهيم وإسحق فيكثرا كثيرة عظيمة علي الأرض. فلما رأي يوسف أن أباه وضع يده اليمني علي رأس أفرايم ثقل الأمر أمامه، فأمسك يوسف بيد أبيه لينقلها عن رأس أفرايم إلي رأس منسي وقال يوسف لأبيه : ليس هكذا يا أبي لأن هذا هو البكر، ضع يمينك علي رأسه. فأبي أبوه وقال : أنا أعلم يا ولدي، أنا أعلم.

Glory be the Holy Trinity, our God, forever and ever. Amen.

The Lord even God gives me the tongue of instruction, to know when it is fit to speak a word: he has appointed for me early, he has given me an ear to hear: and the instruction of the Lord, even the Lord, opens mine ears, and I do not disobey, nor dispute. قد أتاني السيد الرب العلماء لأعلم إذا صار خوف الكلام، في الأسرار جعل لي وزادني أذناً، لأسمع تعليم الرب، ولكن تنفتح أذناي وأنا لم أقاوم بل بذلت ظهري للضرب، وخدي للطم ولم أرد وجهي عن خزي البصاق، والرب كان لي عوناً، لذلك لا أخجل. لكنني جعلت وجهي كالصخرة الصلبة وعملت أني لا أخزي لأن الذي يبررني قريب مني من يحاكمني فليقترب إلي، هوذا الرب يعينني فمن فمن يؤهلمني ؟. ها أنتم كلكم كمثل الثوب تبلون ويأكلكم السوس. مجداً للثالوث الأقدس

Wherefore now their glory has been brought low, and the shame of their countenance has withstood them, and they have proclaimed their sin as Sodom, and made it manifest. Woe to their soul, for they have devised an evil counsel against themselves, saying against themselves, Let us bind the just, for he is burdensome to us: therefore shall they eat the fruits of their works. Woe to the transgressor! evils shall happen to him according to the works of his hands. ويل لنفوسهم لأنهم تآمروا تأمراً في نفوسهم قائلين : لنوثق البار فإنه غير نافع لنا. والآن يأكلون من ثمار أعمال أيديهم. الويل للمنافق. شرور اعمال يديه تؤتي عليه، يا شعبي رؤساؤكم يقطفونكم والذين يلتمسون منكم يتسلطون عليكم. يا شعبي الذين يكرمونكم يضلونكم ويقلقون طريق أرجلكم.

But now the Lord will stand up for judgment, and will enter into judgment with his people. The Lord himself shall enter into judgment with the elders of the people, and with their rulers: but why have ye set my vineyard on fire, and why is the spoil of the poor in your houses? Why do ye wrong my people, and shame the face of the poor?

ولكن الآن يأتي الرب للحكم ويأتي مع شعبه إلي المحاكمة مع المشايخ والرؤساء وأنتم لماذا تلقون ناراً علي هذا الكرم ؟. إغتصاب الفقراء في بيوتكم ما بالكم تظلمون شعبي وتخجلون وجوه المساكين؟

Who is this that is come from Edom, with red garments from Bosor? thus fair in his apparel, with mighty strength? I speak of righteousness and saving judgment. Wherefore are thy garments red, and thy raiment as if fresh from a trodden winepress? I am full of trodden grape, and of the nations there is not a man with me; and I trampled them in my fury, and dashed them to pieces as earth, and brought down their blood to the earth. For the day of recompence has come upon them, and the year of redemption is at hand. And I looked, and there was no helper; and I observed, and none upheld: therefore my arm delivered them, and mine anger drew nigh. And I trampled them in mine anger, and brought down their blood to the earth. I remembered the mercy of the Lord, the praises of the Lord in all things wherein he recompenses us. The Lord is a good judge to the house of Israel; he deals with us according to his mercy, and according to the abundance of his righteousness.

من ذا الآتي من آدوم، وثيابه حمر من بصرة. بهي هكذا في حلة الإعتزاز. بالقوة أنا المتكلم بالعدل وحكم الخلاص. ما بال ثيابك حمراء، ولباسك كدائس المعصرة ؟ إني دستها وحدي ومن الشعوب لم يكن معي أحد. قد دستهم بغضبي ووطئتهم كما تطأ الأرض وأسلت دمهم علي الأرض، لأن يوم النقمة قد جاء عليهم وسنة الخلاص قد أتت، فنظرت ولم يكن من ناصر وتأملت ولم يكن أحد لديهم، فسيخلصني ذراعي وردجزي قد أتي، ووطئتهم بسخطي وأرسلت دمهم علي الأرض، رحمة الرب ذكرتها وحسنات الرب في جميع الأشياء التي يجازينا بها. مجداً للثالوث الأقدس

قال الرب ضابط الكل: أني أثبت عيني عليهم للشر لا للخير، وأجعل الأرض تطرب عندما ألمسها. وبنوح جميع الساكنين فيها، وتطمو آخرتها مثل نهر، وتنضب مثل نهر مصر. الذي يبني في السماء علاليه، ويؤسس وعده علي الأرض، الذي يدعو مياه البحر ويصيبها علي وجه الأرض، الرب ضابط الكل إسمه.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the kingdom of sinners, and I will cut it off from the face of the earth; only I will not utterly cut off the house of Jacob, saith the Lord. ها أعين الرب تتطلع علي مملكة الخطاة ليمحوها من علي وجه الأرض إلا أنني لا أستأصل بيت يعقوب إستئصالا. قال الرب. هآنذا أمر وأنقي كل شعب إسرائيل كما تنقي الفضة ولا يتلف منها شيء علي الأرض ويموت بالسيف كل خطاة هذا الشعب القائلين لا يقترب إلينا الشر ولا يأتي علينا.

Men heard me, and gave heed, and they were silent at my counsel. At my word they spoke not again, and they were very gland whenever I spoke to them. As the thirsty earth expecting the rain, so they waited for my speech. Were I to laugh on them, they would not believe it; and the light of my face has not failed. I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the midst of warriors, as one comforting mourners.

لما سمعوني أنصتوا وسكتوا عند مشورتي، وعلي كلامي لم يزيدوا، ويفرحون إذا كلمتهم كمثل أرض منتظرة للمطر، هكذا هؤلاء أيضاً كانوا ينتظرون كلامي وإذا ضحكت معهم لا يصدقوني، والنور لا يسقط من وجهي، ثم إخترت طريقهم وجلست رئيسا وكنت أسكن كملك في الحصون ومثل قوم نائحين أعزيهم.

But now the youngest have laughed me to scorn, now they reprove me in their turn, whose fathers I set at nought; whom I did not deem worthy to be with my shepherd dogs. Yea, why had I the strength of their hands? for them the full term of life was lost. One is childless in want and famine, such as they that fled but lately the distress and misery of drought.

أما الآن فقد هزء بي أصاغر الناس، والآن يعلمونني شيئا أولئك الذين رذلت آباءهم، الذين كنت أتركهم وأحسبهم كأنهم غير موجودين، الذين كنت آنفاً من أنت أجعل آبائهم مع كلاب الرعاة، لأنهم ليسوا من هذا الموضع ماذا يفعلون بي قوة أيديهم. الذين فسدت عليهم آخرتهم بالعوز والغلاء والعقم، الهاربون بالأمس في موضع بلا ماء،

Who compass the salt places on the sounding shore, who had salt herbs for their food, and were dishonorable and of no repute, in want of every good thing; who also ate roots of trees by reason of great hunger.

فساد وشقاء للذين يطلبون العشب من المواضع التي تظن وأصول الرتم طعامهم، أولئك الأردياء الأشرار عادمي جميع الخيرات يمضغون جذور الحطب من شدة الغلاء.

Thieves have risen up against me, whose houses were the caves of the rocks, who lived under the wild shrubs. They will cry out among the rustling bushes. They are sons of fools and vile men, whose name and glory are quenched from off the earth. But now I am their music, and they have me for a by-word. And they stood aloof and abhorred me, and spared not to spit in my face.

قام علي اللصوص الذين جعلوا مساكنهم مغائر الصخور صارخين في مواضع حسنة الطنين، الساكنون في مواضع موحشة وأبناء الحمقي أصحاب الإسم المرزول والذبيحة المنطقفئة علي الأرض، وأنا الآن صرت لهم قيثارة وعندهم مثلاً، وهم أبغضوني وإبتعدوا عني ولم يشفقوا وبصقوا في وجهي.

For Christ Himself came and died for us because of His love. For he did not only create us, who are sinners, as Adam, but when we destroyed ourselves with sin, He came and suffered for us and gave us life through His love. He came to us as a physician manifesting Himself to us. He did not come to heal us of our sickness but to raise us from the death that enslaved us. He freed us from its bonds. Christ the Lord died for us that we may have life with Him forever. Him being the Lord , came and shared in humanity's pains. How then can a human who is enslaved be saved? Christ put death under His feet and it was defeated. Hades in its power fell back when it heard the voice of the Lord calling the souls saying: "Come out of your bonds, you who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death. Come out of your bonds, I preach to you life for I am the Christ, the son of the eternal God.

لأن المسيح جاء بذاته ولمحبته مات عنا لأنه لم يخلقنا نحن الخطاة مثل آدم ويصيرنا بشراً فقط بل لما أهلكنا أنفسنا بالخطية جاء وتألم عنا وأحيانا بمحبته لأنه قد جاء إلينا كطبيب معلناً لنا ذاته لأنه لم يأت لنا كمرضي بل كموتي. بهذا لم يشفينا نحن المرضي بل أقامنا نحن الأموات الذين ابتلعنا الموت ففكنا من رباطاته. لهذا مات المسيح الرب عنا لكي نحيا معه إلي الأبد، لأنه أن لم يكن الرب قد شارك البشرية في آلامها فكيف يخلص الإنسان ؟ !. لأن الموت سقط تحت أقدام المسيح وإنهزم وهو مسبي مضطرب والجحيم مع قوته رجع إلي خلف لما سمع صوت الرب ينادي الأنفس قائلاً : أخرجوا من وثاقتكم أيها الجالسون في الظلمة وظلال الموت، أخرجو من وثاقتكم، أنا أبشركم بالحياة لأني أنا هو المسيح إبن الله الأبدي.فلنختم عظة أبينا القديس أنبا أثناسيوس الذي أنار عقولنا وعيون قلوبنا بإسم الآب والابن والروح القدس الإله الواحد آمين

We conclude the sermon by our father the holy abba Athanasius the Apostolic who enlightened our minds, eyes and hearts in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, One God. Amen.

وكانت عادة الوالي في كل عيد أن يطلق للجميع واحداً من الأسري من أرادوه، وكان لهم في ذلك الوقت أسير وهو لص يدعي باراباس. فلما إجتمعوا معاً، قال لهم بيلاطس : من ترتيدون ان أطلق لكم، باراباس أم يسوع الذي يدعي المسيح ؟ !. لأنه كان يعلم أنهم إنما أسلموه حدساً. وفيما هو جالس علي كرسي الولاية، أرسلت إليه غمرأته قائلة : لا تصنع شيئاً بذالك البار فإني تألمت كثيراً هذه الليلة في حلم من أجله. أما رؤساء الكهنة والشيوخ حرضوا الجموع أن يطلبوا باراباس ويهلكوا يسوع، فأجاب الوالي وقال لهم : من من ظالإثنين تريدون أن أطلق لكم ؟ !. أما هم فقالوا : بارباي. فقال لهم بيلاطس : فماذا افعل إذاً بيسوع الذي يدعي المسيح ؟ ! فقالوا كلهم : ليصلب. فقال لهم الوالي : وأي شر عمل ؟ !. فأما هم فإزدادوا صياحاً قائلين : أصلبه. فلما رأي بيلاطس أنه لا ننفع شيئاً، بل بالحري يحدث شغب، أخذ ماء وغسل يديه قدام الجميع قائلا : إني بريء من دم هذا البار، فأبصروا أنتم.

Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ: ϫⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ. Ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁϥⲭⲁ Ⲃⲁⲣⲁⲃⲃⲁⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ: Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲫⲣⲁⲅⲉⲗⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ:ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲁϣϥ.

فأجاب كل الشعب وقالوا : دمه علينا وعلي أولادنا. حينئذ أطلق لهم باراباس وأما يسوع فجلدوه وأسلموه ليصلب.

Mark 15:6-25

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ : -̅ ⲕ̅ⲉ̅

الإنجيل من مرقس ص ١٥ : ٦ – ٢٥

Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired. And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection. And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them. But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews? For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy. But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them. And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews? And they cried out again, Crucify him. Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him. And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

وكان في كل عيد يطلق لهم أسيراً من طلبوه، وكان المدعو باراباس موثقاً مع مثيري الفتنة الذين إرتكبوا القتل في الفتنة، فلما صعد الجمع طفقوا يطلبون مثل ما كان يفعل لهم، فأجابهم بيلاطس قائلاً : أتريدون أن أطلق لكم ملك اليهود ؟ ! ؟ لأنه كان يعلم أن رؤساء الكهنة إنما أسلموه حسداً، أما رؤساء الكهنة فهيجوا الجمع لكي يطلقوا لهم بالحري باراباس، فأجاب بيلاطس أيضاً وقال لهم : ماذا أصنع بالذي تقولون عنه انه ملك اليهود ؟ !.

And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.

أما هم فصاحوا أيضاً : أصلبه. فقال لهم بيلاطس : وأي شر عمل؟. أما هم فإزدادوا صراخاً : أصلبه. أما بيلاطس وهو يريد أن ينفذ مشيئة الجمع فأطلق لهم بارباس، وأسلم يسوع ليجلد كي يصلب، فأخذه الجند إلي داخل دار الولاية ودعوا كل الكتيبة عليه، وألبسوه ثوباً أرجوانياً وضفروا إكليلاً من شوك ووضعوه عليه، وإبتدأوا يسلمون عليه قائلين : السلام يا ملك اليهود. وكانوا يضربون رأسه بقصبة ويبصقون في وجهه ويجثون علي ركبهم ساجدين له. وبعدما هزاوا به نزعوا عنه الثوب الأرجواني وألبسوه ثيابه، ثم أخرجوه ليصلبوه وسخروا واحداً عابراً آتياً من الحقل وهو سمعان القيراواني أبو الكسندروس وروفس ليحمل صليبه، وجاءوا به إلي موضع الجلجثة الذي تأويله الجمجمة، وأعطوه خمراً ممزوجة بمر. أما هو فلم يأخذها. ولما صلبوه إقتسموا ثيابه بينهم مقترعين عليها من الذي يأخذها. وكان وقت الساعة الثالثة، وصلبوه. والمجد لله دائما

And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head, And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews! And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him. And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him. And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.

And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.

And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not. And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take. And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.

And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him: No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him. I will therefore chastise him, and release him. (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.) And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas: (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.) Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them. But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go. And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required. And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

فدعا بيلاطس رؤساء الكهنة والعظماء والشعب، وقال لهم : قد قدمتم إلي هذا الرجل كمن يضل الشعب، وها أنا قد فحصته أمامكم ولم أجد علة علي هذا الرجل مما تشتكون به عليه، بل ولا هيروس أيضاً، لأنه قد أرسله إلينا. وها هوذا لم يصنع شيئاً يستوجب الموت، فأنا أؤدبه وأطلقه. وكان لايد له أن يطلق لهم واحداً في كل عيد، فصرخ كل الجمع قائلين : إرتفع هذا وأطلق لنا باراباس. وذاك كان قد ألقي في السجن لأجل فتنة وقتل حدث في المدينة. فناداهم أيضاً بيلاطس وهو يريد أن يطلق يسوع، فأما هم فصرخوا قائلين : أصلبه أصلبه. فقال لهم مرة ثالثة : وأي شر عمل هذا ؟ إني لم أجد عليه علة أن يصلب. وكانت أصواتهم تشتد. فحكم بيلاطس أن تكون طلبتهم، فأطلق الذي ألقي في السجن لأجل فتنة وقتل وهو الذي طلبوه، وأسلم يسوع كإرادتهم. والمجد لله دائما

John 19:1-12

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲓ̅ⲑ̅: ⲁ̅- ⲓ̅ⲃ̅

Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man! When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him. The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God. When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid; And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer. Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.

حينئذ أخذ بيلاطس يسوع وجلده، وضفر الجند إكليلاً من شوك ووضعوه علي رأسه، وألبسوه ثوباً من أرجوان، وكانوا يقبلون إليه ويقولون: السلام يا ملك اليهود. وكانوا يلطمونه فخرج بيلاطس أيضاً وقال لهم: ها أنا أخرجه إليكم لتعلموا أني لست أجد فيه علة ما. حينئذ خرج يسوع وهو حامل غكليل الشوك وثوب الأرجوان، فقال لهم بيلاطس : هوذا الرجل. فلما رآه رؤساء الكهنة والخدام صرخوا قائلين : لأصلبه أصلبه. فقال لهم بيلاطس : خذوه أنتم وأصلبوه لأني لست أجد فيه علة ما يؤخذ بها. أجابه اليهود : إن لنا ناموساً، وبحسب ناموسنا هو مستوجب الموت لأنه جعل نفسه إبن الله. فلما سمع بيلاطس هذا الكلام إزداد خوفاً، ودخل أيضاً إلي الديوان وقال ليسوع : من أين أنت ؟. أما يسوع فلم يجبه، فقال له بيلاطس : لماذا لم تكلمني ! أما تعلم أن لي سلطاناً أن أصلبك، ولي سلطاناً أيضاً أن أطلقك ؟ !. أجاب يسوع قائلاً : ليس لك علي سلطان، لو لم تكن قد أعطيت من فوق. من اجل هذا الذي أسلمني إليك له خهطية أعظم. لذلك كان بيلاطس يطلب أن يطلقه. وأما اليهود فكانوا يصرخون قائلين : إن أنت أطلقته فلست بصاحب لقيصر، لأن كل من يجعل نفسه ملكاً فهو يقاوم قيصر. والمجد لله دائما

I am baffled with this great prophet Isaiah. He was seen by inspiration the passions of the Savior who is the Word of God. He said: Who is He who comes from Adam, his clothes are red, and He is dressed in a magnificent robe and His mantle is from red blood as one who comes Truly these are the words of this prophet who revealed this before these days. Verily He is the Word of god, our Savior, and Jesus. He wore the old flesh of Adam, the first creation. The sublime Divinity united with humanity (without mixing nor change). An immutable mantle united with God the Word. He inflicted His wrath on the Hebrews and trampled over them in the press of His anger. He granted His mercy and grace to the Gentiles whom He made a new people. As for Israel, his foolishness will prevail on him forever.

أنا متحير مع هذا النبي ذو الصوت العظيم، إشعياء النبي، الذي سبق فنظر بالسر لآلام المخلص التي لله الكلمة، فقال : من هو هذا الآتي من آدوم وثيابه حمراء من بوصار، لابساً حلة بهية هكذا، ولباسه من الدم الأحمر كمن يصعد من المعصرة ملطخ بدم عنقودها ؟ !. حقاً بالحقيقة هو كلام هذا النبي الذي اظهر هذا قبل هذه الأيام. بالحقيقة هو كلمة الإله مخلصنا يسوع كالتدبير لبس الجسد القديم الذي لأبينا آدم أبو الخليقة، وصارت اللاهوتية العلوية متحدة بالبشرية بغير إستحالة بما لا يدرك. هي الحلة التي لا تتغير المتحدة مع الإله الكلمة، وصب غضبه علي العبرانيين وداسهم في معصرة غضبه،ورحمته وبره أعطاها للأمم الذين صنعهم له شعباً جديداً. فأما إسرائيل فإن البلاد قد إستولت عليه إلي الإنقضاء.

The priest and the congregation say

Christ our Savior, has come and has borne suffering, that through His passion, He may save us.

Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ: ⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲁϥϣⲉⲡⲙ̀ⲕⲁϩ: ϩⲓⲛⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥ ⲙ̀ⲕⲁⲩϩ: ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲥⲱϯ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ.

المسيح مخلصنا جاء وتألم عنا لكى بآلامه يخلصنا.

Let us glorify Him, and exalt His Name, for He has done us mercy, according to His great mercy.

Ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛϯⲱ̀ⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ: ⲧⲉⲛϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ: ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ: ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓ.

فلنمجده ونرفع إسمه لأنه صنع معنا رحمةً كعظيم رحمته.
