Ϯⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛ̀ϯⲅⲉⲛⲉⲥⲓⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ: ⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲡⲉϥⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ ⲁ̀ⲙⲏⲛ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲁ̅: ⲁ̅- ϣ̅ⲃ̅ⲗ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲃ̅: ⲁ̅-ⲅ̅

تكوين ١ : ١ – ٢ : ٣

In the beginning God made the heaven and the earth. But the earth was unsightly and unfurnished, and darkness was over the deep, and the Spirit of God moved over the water. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. And God saw the light that it was good, and God divided between the light and the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night, and there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

Ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲁ Ⲫϯ ⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛⲧⲫⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ: ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲑⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲧⲥⲟⲃϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲛⲁϥⲭⲏ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲫⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲛⲁϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲱⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲉⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲫⲱⲣϫ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲭⲁⲕⲓ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ̀ Ⲫϯ ⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϫⲱⲣϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ̀ ⲣⲟⲩϩⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ̀ ⲧⲟⲟⲩⲓ̀ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ.

في البدء خلق الله السماء والأرض. وكانت الأرض غير مرئية وغير مستعدة، وعلى وجه الغمر ظلام، وروح الله يرف على وجه المياه. وقال الله ليكن نور فكان نور. ورأى الله النور أنه حسن. وفصل الله بين النور والظلام. ودعا الله النور نهاراً والظلام دعاه ليلاً. وكان مساء وكان صباح يوماً أولاً.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the water, and let it be a division between water and water, and it was so. And God made the firmament, and God divided between the water which was under the firmament and the water which was above the firmament. And God called the firmament Heaven, and God saw that it was good, and there was evening and there was morning, the second day.

Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲑⲙⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲫⲱⲣϫ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ̀ Ⲫϯ ⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ̀ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲫⲱⲣϫ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲥⲁϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲟⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ̀ Ⲫϯ ⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲡⲓⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ϫⲉ ⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ ⲟⲩⲟ ⲁ̀ ⲣⲟⲩϩⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ̀ ⲧⲟⲟⲩⲓ̀ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁϩ ⲥ̀ⲛⲁⲩ.

وقال الله ليكن جلد متوسط بين المياه، وليكن فاصلاً بين مياه ومياه فكان كذلك. فخلق الله الجلد في وسط المياه وفصل الله بين المياه التي تحت الجلد والمياه التي فوق الجلد. ودعا الله الجلد سماء. ورأى الله أن ذلك حسن. وكان مساء وكان صباح يوماً ثانياً.

And God said, Let the water which is under the heaven be collected into one place, and let the dry land appear, and it was so. And the water which was under the heaven was collected into its places, and the dry land appeared. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gatherings of the waters he called Seas, and God saw that it was good.

Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲥⲁϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲁⲛ̀ⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱϩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲱⲟⲩⲓⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲕⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲟⲩⲓⲉ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲉⲡⲓϣⲟⲩⲓⲉ ϫⲉ ⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲙⲁⲓⲟⲩ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ.

وقال الله لتجتمع المياه التي تحت السماء إلى مجمع واحد وليظهر اليبس. وكان كذلك. فاجتمعت المياه التي تحت السماء مجمعاً واحداً وظهر اليبس. ودعا الله اليبس أرضاً ومجتمع المياه سماه بحاراً. ورآى الله ذلك أنه حسن.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the herb of grass bearing seed according to its kind and according to its likeness, and the fruit-tree bearing fruit whose seed is in it, according to its kind on the earth, and it was so. And the earth brought forth the herb of grass bearing seed according to its kind and according to its likeness, and the fruit tree bearing fruit whose seed is in it, according to its kind on the earth, and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.

Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲙⲉϩ ⲛⲥⲓⲙ ⲛⲥⲓϯ ⲛϫⲣⲟϫ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲓⲛⲓ: ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϣϣⲏⲛ ⲙⲙⲁⲥⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ : ⲉϥⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲡⲉϥϫⲣⲟϫ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ : ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ: Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲙⲉϩ ⲛⲥⲓⲙ ⲛⲥⲓϯ ⲛϫⲣⲟϫ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲓⲛⲓ: ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϣϣⲏⲛ ⲙⲙⲁⲥⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲉϥⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉϥϫⲣⲟϫ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ: Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲣⲟⲩϩⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲧⲟⲟⲩⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲁϩ ϣⲟⲙⲧ.

وقال الله: لتنبت الأرض نباتاً عشباً يبزر بزراً كجنسه وشكله. وشجراً ذا ثمر يخرج ثمراً كجنسه بزره فيه على الأرض. وكان كذلك. فأخرجت الأرض نباتاً عشباً يبزر بزراً كجنسه وشجراً مثمراً يعمل ثمراً بزره فيه كجنسه على الأرض. ورأى الله ذلك أنه حسن. وكان مساء وكان صباح يوماً ثالثاً.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, to divide between day and night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and for years. And let them be for light in the firmament of the heaven, so as to shine upon the earth, and it was so. And God made the two great lights, the greater light for regulating the day and the lesser light for regulating the night, the stars also. And God placed them in the firmament of the heaven, so as to shine upon the earth, and to regulate day and night, and to divide between the light and the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.

Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲫⲉ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲫⲱⲣϫ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲱⲣϩ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϩⲁⲛⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ: Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲫⲉ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛ ⲧⲟⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ: Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ: ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲣⲉϥ ⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲥⲓⲟⲩ: Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲭⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲫⲉ ϩⲱⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ: Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲉⲣⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲉⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲉϫⲱⲣϩ : ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲫⲱⲣϫ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲭⲁⲕⲓ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ: Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲣⲟⲩϩ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲧⲟⲟⲩⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲁϩ ϥⲧⲟⲩ

وقال الله لتكن أنوار في جلد السماء لتنير على الأرض ولتفصل بين النهار والليل. وتكون لآيات وأوقات وأيام وسنين. وتكون أنوار في جلد السماء لتضئ على الأرض. فكان كذلك. فخلق الله النيرين العظيمين. النور الأكبر لسلطان النهار. والنور الأصغر لسلطان الليل مع النجوم. وجعلها الله في جلد السماء لتضئ على الأرض، وتتسلط على النهار والليل، ولتفصل بين النور والظلام. ورأى الله ذلك أنه حسن. وكان مساء وكان صباح يوماً رابعاً.

And God said, Let the waters bring forth reptiles having life, and winged creatures flying above the earth in the firmament of heaven, and it was so. And God made great whales, and every living reptile, which the waters brought forth according to their kinds, and every creature that flies with wings according to its kind, and God saw that they were good. And God blessed them saying, Increase and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let the creatures that fly be multiplied on the earth. And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.

Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲁⲛϭⲁⲧϥⲓ ⲙⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲩⲟⲛϧ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛϩⲁⲗⲁϯ ⲉⲩϩⲏⲗ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲓⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ: Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲛⲛⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲕⲏⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓϭⲁⲧϥⲓ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁ ⲛⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉ ⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ: ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲗⲏⲧ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉϯϩⲏⲗ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁϩ ⲛⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲁⲙⲁⲓⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓϩⲁⲗⲁϯ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲁϣⲁⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ: Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲣⲟⲩϩⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲧⲟⲟⲩⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲁϩ ⲧⲓⲟⲩ

وقال الله لتفض المياه زحافات ذات أنفس حية وطيوراً تطير فوق الأرض على وجه جلد السماء وكان كذلك. فخلق الله الحيتان العظام. وكل ذي نفس حية من الهوام التي فاضت بها المياه كأجناسها. وكل طائر ذي جناح كجنسه. ورأى الله ذلك أنه حسن. وباركها الله قائلاً: أنمي وأكثري واملأي المياه في البحار. وليكثر الطير على الأرض. وكان مساء وكان صباح يوماً خامساً.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind, quadrupeds and reptiles and wild beasts of the earth according to their kind, and it was so. And God made the wild beasts of the earth according to their kind, and cattle according to their kind, and all the reptiles of the earth according to their kind, and God saw that they were good. And God said, Let us make man according to our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the flying creatures of heaven, and over the cattle and all the earth, and over all the reptiles that creep on the earth. And God made man, according to the image of God he made him, male and female he made them. And God blessed them, saying, Increase and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the seas and flying creatures of heaven, and all the cattle and all the earth, and all the reptiles that creep on the earth. And God said, Behold I have given to you every seed-bearing herb sowing seed which is upon all the earth, and every tree which has in itself the fruit of seed that is sown, to you it shall be for food. وقال الله لتخرج الأرض أنفس حية ذوات أربع هوام ووحوش الأرض كأجناسها وكل دبابات الأرض كأجناسها. وكان كذلك. فخلق الله جميع وحوش الأرض كأجناسها والبهائم كأجناسها وكل دبابات الأرض كأجناسها. ورأى الله ذلك أنه حسن. وقال الله: لنخلق إنساناً على صورتنا وكمثالنا، وليتسلط على سمك البحر وطير السماء والبهائم وعلى جميع الأرض وكل ما يدب ويتحرك على الأرض. فخلق الله الأنسان على صورته. على صورة الله خلقه. ذكراً وأنثى خلقهم. وباركهم الله قائلاً: إنميا وأكثرا وامليا الأرض وأخضعاها وتسلطا على سمك البحر وطير السماء وجميع البهائم وسائر الأرض، وكل الهوام التي تدب على الأرض. وقال الله: ها قد أعطيتكم كل عشب مزروع يبزر بزراً على وجه الأرض كلها. وكل شجر فيه ثمر يبزر بزراً يكون لكم طعاماً ولجميع وحوش الأرض وكل طير السماء وكل ما يدب ويتحرك على الأرض مما فيه نفس حية أعطيت كل عشب أخضر طعاماً. وكان كذلك. ورأى الله جميع ما خلقه فإذا هو حسن جداً. وكان مساء وكان صباح يوماً سادساً.

And the heavens and the earth were finished, and the whole world of them. And God finished on the sixth day his works which he made, and he ceased on the seventh day from all his works which he made. And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it he ceased from all his works which God began to do.

فأكملت السماء والأرض وكل زينتها. وأكمل الله أعماله التي خلقها في اليوم السادس. واستراح في اليوم السابع من جميع أعماله التى صنعها، وبارك الله اليوم السابع وقدسه لأنه فيه استراح من جميع أعماله التي ابتدأ الله بخلقتها.

Now I will sing to my beloved a song of my beloved concerning my vineyard. My beloved had a vineyard on a high hill in a fertile place. And I made a hedge round it, and dug a trench, and planted a choice vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and dug a place for the wine-vat in it: and I waited for it to bring forth grapes, and it brought forth thorns. And now, ye dwellers in Jerusalem, and every man of Juda, judge between me and my vineyard. What shall I do any more to my vineyard, that I have not done to it? Whereas I expected it to bring forth grapes, but it has brought forth thorns. And now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it shall be for a spoil; and I will pull down its walls, and it shall be left to be trodden down. And I will forsake my vineyard; and it shall not be pruned, nor dug, and thorns shall come up upon it as on barren land; and I will command the clouds to rain no rain upon it. For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Juda his beloved plant: I expected it to bring forth judgment, and it brought forth iniquity; and not righteousness, but a cry. Woe to them that join house to house, and add field to field, that they may take away something of their neighbor’s: will ye dwell alone upon the land? For these things have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts: for though many houses should be built, many and fair houses shall be desolate, and there shall be no inhabitants in them.

أمجد الذي أحبه بنشيد حبيب هذا الكرم: كان للحبيب كرم في رابية في موضع خصب. فأحطت به سياجاً ورفعته على القصب، وغرست كرماً في سورق، وبنيت فيه برجاً في وسطه. وحفرت فيه معصرة. وأنتظرت أن يخرج عنباً فأخرج شوكاً. والآن يا رجال يهوذا وسكان أورشليم، أحكموا بيني وبين كرمي. أي شئ يصنع لكرمي وأنا لم أصنعه به؟. لأني رجوت أن يخرج عنباً فأخرج شوكاً. فالآن أعلمكم ماذا أفعل بكرمي. أقلع سياجه فيصير للنهب. وأهدم جوسقه فيكون مدوساً. وأهمل هذا الكرم فلا يقضب ولا يفلح. وينبت فيه الشوك مثل السلا. وأوصى السحاب ألا تمطر عليه مطراً. لأن كرم رب الصباؤوت هو بيت إسرائيل. ورجال يهوذا الغرس الجديد المحبوب. رجوت أن يصنع إنصافاً فصنع إثماً. وعدلاً فاذا صراخ. ويل للذين يصلون بيتاً ببيت. ويقرنون حقلاً بحقل. لكي يسلبوا أصحابهم. إذن أنتم تسكنون الأرض وحدكم. قد سمع هذا في مسامع رب الصباؤوت.

يشوع بن سيراخ ١ : ١ – ١٩

All wisdom cometh from the Lord, and is with him for ever. Who can number the sand of the sea, and the drops of rain, and the days of eternity? Who can find out the height of heaven, and the breadth of the earth, and the deep, and wisdom? Wisdom hath been created before all things, and the understanding of prudence from everlasting. The word of God most high is the fountain of wisdom; and her ways are everlasting commandments.

كل الحكمة فهي من قبل الرب وهي دائمة معه إلى الأبد. من يقدر أن يحصى رمل البحر وقطرات المطر وأيام الدهور. من يستطيع أن يمسح علو السماء ورحب الأرض وعمق الغمر والحكمة. قبل كل شئ حيزت الحكمة. ومنذ الأزل الفهم والفطنة. ينبوع الحكمة كلمة الله في العلا. وطرقها الوصايا الأزلية.

To whom hath the root of wisdom been revealed? or who hath known her wise counsels? Unto whom hath the knowledge of wisdom been made manifest? and who hath understood her great experience? There is one wise and greatly to be feared, the Lord sitting upon his throne. He created her, and saw her, and numbered her, and poured her out upon all his works. She is with all flesh according to his gift, and he hath given her to them that love him.

لمن استعلن أصل الحكمة ومن عرف خفاياها. لمن تجلت معرفة الحكمة ومن ادرك كثرة خبرتها. واحد هو حكيم عظيم المهابة جالس على عرشه. الرب هو الذي حازها ورآها وأحصاها. وأفاضها على جميع أعماله. فهي مع كل ذي جسد على حسب عطيته. وقد منحها لمحبيه.

The fear of the Lord is honour, and glory, and gladness, and a crown of rejoicing. The fear of the Lord maketh a merry heart, and giveth joy, and gladness, and a long life. Whoso feareth the Lord, it shall go well with him at the last, and he shall find favour in the day of his death. To fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and it was created with the faithful in the womb. She hath built an everlasting foundation with men, and she shall continue with their seed.

مخافة الرب هي مجد وفخر وسرور وإكليل فرح. مخافة الرب تبهج القلب. وتعطي فرحاً وسروراً وطول أيام. المتقي الرب يكون له الخير في آخرته. وينال حظوةً في يوم موته. رأس الحكمة مخافة الرب. أنها تولدت في الرحم مع المؤمنين وتأسست مع البشر مدى الدهر. وهي تثبت مع نسلهم.

To fear the Lord is fulness of wisdom, and filleth men with her fruits. She filleth all their house with things desirable, and the garners with her increase.

Ⲡ̀ⲥⲁⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ̀ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙⲠⲟ̅ⲥ̅ : ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲥⲕⲁⲣⲡⲟⲥ: ϣⲁⲥⲙⲁϩ ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲓ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲡ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲥ ⲧⲱⲃⲓ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲥⲅⲉⲛⲏⲙⲁ ⲛⲉ

كمال الحكمة مخافة الرب. والفرح من ثمارها. تملأ كل بيتها من المختارين. وترويهم من عصيرها.

The fear of the Lord is a crown of wisdom, making peace and perfect health to flourish; both which are the gifts of God: and it enlargeth their rejoicing that love him. Wisdom raineth down skill and knowledge of understanding standing, and exalteth them to honour that hold her fast.

تاج الحكمة مخافة الله. وهي تنشئ زهرة ونعمة الشفاء. قد رآها وأحصاها وأفاض الفهم والمعرفة والعلم. ورفع مجد المتمسك بها.

Brethren, if we want to escape God's punishment and find mercy in his eyes, let us sit every evening alone by ourselves and search our souls for what we presented to our guardian angel to offer to the Lord.

يا إخوة إن كنا نريد الآن أن نفلت من يدي عقاب الله ونجد رحمة أمامه، فلنجلس بالعشاء كل يوم منفردين وحدنا عند كمال النهار. ونفتش ذواتنا عما قدمناه للملاك الذي يخدمنا الملازم لنا ليصعده إلى الرب.

Again, as the night goes by and a new day dawns and light prevails, let us search ourselves to know what we presented to our companion angel to offer to the Lord. Let it be beyond doubt that everyone of us - male or female - young or old, who was baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit has been assigned to a designated angel until the day of his death to report to him every day what his assigned individual has done by day or by night. Not that God is unaware of what we have done. Heavens forbid. He is more knowledgeable about it. As is written, the eyes of the Lord are watching all the time everywhere on those who committ evil and on those who do good. Rather the angels are servants installed by the creator of the universe for those who will inherit the salvation.

وأيضاً إذا انقضى الليل وطلع النهار وأشرق النور نفتش ذواتنا وحدنا ونعلم ما الذي قدمناه للملاك الموكل بنا ليصعده إلى الله. ولا نشك البتة لأن كل إنسان ذكراً كان أو أنثى صغيراً أو كبيراً قد أعتمد باسم الآب والإبن والروح القدس قد جعل الله له ملاكاً موكلاً به إلى يوم وفاته. ليصعد إليه كل يوم بأعمال الإنسان الموكل به الليلية والنهارية. ليس لأن الله غير عارف بأعمالنا. حاشا. بل هو عارف بها أكثر. كما هو مكتوب: إن عيني الرب ناظرة كل حين في كل مكان على صانعي الشر وفاعلي الخير. إنما الملائكة هم خدام قد أقامهم خالق الكل من أجل المزمعين لوراثة الخلاص.

وفي الغد لما خرجوا من بيت عنيا جاع. فرأى شجرة تين عن بعد وكان عليها ورق. فجاء إليها لعله يجد فيها شيئاً. فلما جاء إليها لم يجد شيئاً إلا ورقاً لأنه لم يكن وقت التين. فأجاب يسوع وقال لها: لا يأكل أحد منك ثمرة بعد إلى الأبد. وكان تلاميذه يسمعون.

And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. وجاءوا إلى أورشليم. ولما دخل يسوع الهيكل ابتدأ يخرج الذين كانوا يبيعون ويشترون في الهيكل. وقلب موائد الصيارفة وكراسي باعة الحمام. ولم يدع أحداً يجتاز الهيكل بمتاع. وكان يعلم قائلاً لهم: أليس مكتوباً أن بيتي بيت الصلوة يدعى لجميع الأمم. وأنتم جعلتموه مغارة للصوص.

And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine. And when even was come, he went out of the city. And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

وسمع رؤساء الكهنة والكتبة وكانوا يطلبون بأي نوع يهلكونه لأنهم كانوا يخافونه لأن الجمع كله كان يتعجب من تعليمه. وإذ كان المساء خرج إلى خارج المدينة. وفي الصباح إذ كانوا مجتازين رأوا التينة قد يبست من أصلها.

And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

فتذكر بطرس وقال له. ربي ها أن التينة التي لعنتها قد يبست. فأجاب يسوع وقال لهم ليكن لكم إيمان بالله. لأني الحق أقول لكم أن من يقول لهذا الجبل انتقل وانطرح في البحر وهو لا يشك في قلبه بل يؤمن بأن ما يقوله يكون فإنه يكون له.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

فلأجل ذلك أقول لكم أن كل شئ تسألونه في الصلاة آمنوا أنكم تنالونه فيكون لكم.

طرح باكر يوم الإثنين من يوم الإثنين من البصخة المقدسة بركاتها علينا. آمين.

Reader

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and adorned them with His spirit. He covered darkness and unveiled the light, and distinguished between them with new names. He called the light day and the darkness night. He created all these in the same day with wisdom and prudence.

في البدء خلق الله السماء والأرض وزينها هكذا بروح فيه. وغطى الظلمة وأخرج النور وفرق بينهما بأسماء جديدة. ودعا النور نهاراً ودعا الظلمة ليلاً. وفي ذلك اليوم خلق هذه جميعها بحكمة وفهم رفيع.

On the second day God created the firmament and separated between waters and waters. God established the waters above the firmament and called them Heaven.

وفي اليوم الثاني خلق الله جلد السماء وفصل بين مياه ومياه. وبعد هذا ثبت الله الماء العلوي وأسماه سماء.

On the third day He gathered the waters and made the land appear over the waters, and on the fourth day God created the sun, the moon and the multitude of stars. On the fifth day God created the birds, the big whales, the farm animals and all kinds of grass, plants and fruit yielding trees.

وفي اليوم الثالث جمع المياه وثبت الأرض فوق المياه. والشمس والقمر وكثرة النجوم خلقها الله في اليوم الرابع. والهوام والطير والحيتان الكبار وحيوانات الحقل في اليوم الخامس. وأجناس الشجر وزرع الحقل والعشب المزروع المثمر.

On the sixth day God created Adam the first man and a companion for him from his own flesh, male and female as designated; and gave them dominion over all the creatures He created.

وفي اليوم السادس خلق الله الحيوان العظيم آدم أول البشر ومعينة له من جسده ذكراً وأنثى كالتدبير. هذان جعلهما رؤساء على جميع أعماله التي خلقها الخالق.

God rested on the seventh day from all the work which He had done. These are the designs of the Creator and the Initiator of all creation.

واستراح في اليوم السابع لأن فيه أكمل جميع أعماله. هذا تدبير الخالق ومؤسس كل الموجودات. فلنمجده ونرفع إسمه لأنه صنع معنا رحمة كعظيم رحمته.

Christ our Savior, has come and has borne suffering, that through His passion, He may save us.

المسيح مخلصنا جاء وتألم عنا لكى بآلامه يخلصنا.

Let us glorify Him, and exalt His Name, for He has done us mercy, according to His great mercy.
