Your love embraced me, O pride of nations, Moses has seen you, Surprise and marvel. And the lamps are bright, With golden crosses, O Mary Moses' dome O Aaron's censer.

سباني حبك · يا فخر الرتب · موسى رآكي يا مريم · عجب من عجب · والقناديل فضة بتضوي · والصلبان ذهب · يا قبة موسى يا مريم · يا شورية هارون.

I praise the Virgin, And explain and say, O the origin, And the hidden pearl.

أمدح في البتول · واشرح عنها واقول · أنتِ أصل الأصول · يا جوهر مكنون.

Through your Son O grace, The salvation of our race, We reached the goal O Mary, You brought us jubilation.

بكِ يا نعمتنا · وخلاص جنسنا · قد بلغنا المنى · ونحن فرحون.

He was truly incarnate, From the pride of girls, Crucified and died, For us at Golgotha.

تجسد الإبن بثبات · من فخر البنات · صُلِب عنا ومات · عند الإقرانيون.

The fruit of my pledge, Is the daughter of Zion, My enemies declare, I am filled with your love.

ثمرة العيون · هي إبنة صهيون · أعدائي يقولون · إني بِحُبك مفتون.

Gabriel came to you, With tidings and words, You accepted his word, A hidden mystery.

جاءك غبريال · ببشائر وأقوال · وقبلتي ما قال · وهو سر مكنون.

You contained the Fruit, The Lord of power, You became a bright heaven, O daughter of Zion.

حويتِ الثمرة · وهو رب القدرة · وصرتي سماء مقمرة · يا إبنة صهيون.

Your Son saved Adam, After his sorrow, And has freed the world, From the Devil’s plots.

خلصتي آدم · بعد أن كان نادم · وعتقتي العالم · من كيد الأركون.

He is ever-glorified, The only-begotten was incarnated, To save the servants, From prison and bondage.

دائم التمجيد · تجسد وهو الوحيد · لأجل خلاص العبيد · من الأسر وسجون.

David spoke of you, The King desired your purity, And took flesh from you, The hidden Lord of the throne.

ذكر داود عنك · الملك إشتهى حسنك · وتجسد منك · رب العرش المكنون.

Myriads and thousands, Around the throne standing, Ranks and orders, Together with the martyrs.

ربوات ثم ألوف · من حول العرش وقوف · وطوائف وصفوف · وشهداء متصلون.

We are comforted, As sorrow was taken away, Through you we rejoice, O the pride of the human race.

زالت عنا الأحزان · وصرنا في إطمئنان · بكِ يا قرة الأعيان · ونحن بكِ فرِحون.

Salome witnessed, That the Virgin gave birth, She believed and confirmed, The hidden mystery.

سالومة شهدت · بأن العذراء ولدت · آمنت واعتقدت · بالسر المكنون.

In the Book of Genesis, Moses the orator said, Jacob the great saw you, A ladder full of splendor.

موسى الكليم · إذ في سفر التكوين القويم · قال رآكي يعقوب العظيم · كسلم بالبهاء مقرون.

The chiefs witnessed, You are the intercessor, O Virgin and Bride, As the prophets prophesied.

شهد عنكي الرؤوس · أنكِ شفيعة النفوس · يا بكرَ وعروس · كما تنبأ النبيون.

Hosea proclaimed, That Jesus will appear, As rain and dew, Bewildering those who hear.

صاح هوشع وخبر، بأن يسوع يظهر، شبه نَداء ومطر، تحتار فيه الواصفون.

Eve caused Adam to stray, He cried in regret, Naked he was exiled, And your Son returned him.

ضل بحوا آدم · فصار يبكي وهو نادم · خرج وهو عريان هائم · ولولا ابنك لا دام في شجون.

Your Light has shone, Illuminating darkness, Your Branch sprouted, And the Christians reaped the fruits.

نورك قد أشرق · وفي الظلمة أبرق · وغصنك قد أورق · فجنى ثماره المسيحيون.

Blessed are you O heaven, You bewildered the scholars, Philosophers and wise men, Speak of your honor.

طوباكِ يا سماء · حيرتِ العُلماء · فلاسفة مع حكماء · في وصفك يتكلمون.

God appeared from you, The Exalted One in heaven, Your milk nursed Him Like all humans.

ظهر منكِ الإله · المتعالي في سماه · وملا لبن ثدييكِ فاه · كما يفعل المخلوقون.

Your goodness is exalted, For Jesus is your Son, Your womb carried Him, He saved mankind.

عالا حسنِك · لأن يسوع إبنك · وحملته بطنك · فخلص به البشريون.

The chanters were enriched, O joy of spirits, Praising you is success, True and fine sayings.

غالت فيكِ المداح · يا بهجة الأرواح · مادحك في نجاح · وقوله صحيح موزون.

You gained my Lord’s pardon, That is also my plea, To belong to Jesus and His Mother, Among the overcomers I shall be.

فزتِ بِعَفو ربي · وهو قصدي ومطلبي · يسوع وأمه حسبي · حتى من الفائزين أكون.

Ancient and Eternal, He died to erase sins, He rose from His sleep, As the Disciples preached.

قديم وأزلي دائم · مات لمحو المآثم · واستيقظ كالنائم · وبذا تلاميذه يكرزون.

The righteous Apostles, Preached in nations, The joyful tidings, And performed miracles.

كرزوا في الأقطار · أولئك الرسل الأحبار · نادوا بالإستبشار · وعجائب يصنعون.

To you is greatness, O daughter of Joachim, You bore a great Mystery, O delight of the eyes.

لكِ كل التعظيم · يا إبنة يواقيم · حملتِ السر العظيم · ووضعته يا قرة العيون.

Moses and Daniel, Gave proverbs, They uttered true words about, Your pregnancy O Zion’s daughter.

موسى ودانيال · ضربا فيكِ الأمثال · ونطقا بصحيح الأقوال · في حبلك يا إبنة صهيون.

You enlightened the world, O the pride of generations, Because of your Son, All creatures were freed.

نورتِ الأكوان · يا فخر الأزمان · لولاكي ما كان · كل الخلائق يعتقون.

Great and splendid gifts, Were offered by the kings, Myrrh, gold and frankincense, The Magi carried to the King

هدايا ألوان · جاءت بها الأعيان · ذهب ومر ولبان · لها المجوس حاملون.

They worshiped the Newborn, The worshipped Lord of lords, And Herod was terrified, And his soldiers surprised.

وسجدوا للمولود · الرب المعبود · وهيرودس خائف مجهود · وجنده مندهشون.

Do not forsake at any time, Your poor and humble servant, Your intercession on Judgment Day, For me and all the faithful.

لا تهملي في كل حين · عبدك الخاطي المسكين · شفاعتك يوم الدين · أرجوها أنا والمؤمنون.

O Lady of virgins, To whom belongs dignity, Grant us victory, Over those who deceive us.

يا سيدة الأبكار · يا مَن لكِ الشرف والفخار · إسعفينا بالنجدة والإنتصار · على مَن بنا يمكرون.

We ask of your Son, Forgiveness and faith, And comfort for the people, On Judgment Day.

نسأل منك الغفران · وقوة مع إيمان · وحصول شعبك على اطمئنان · يوم الخلائق يحشرون.

You are more worthy, than all of the saints, to ask on our behalf, O full of grace.

Ⲧⲉⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ϩⲓⲕⲁⲛⲟⲥ: ⲉ̀ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ: ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲛ: ⲱ̀ ⲑⲏⲉⲑⲙⲉϩ ⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲙⲟⲧ.

أنتِ مستحقة أكثر من جميع القديسين أن تطلبى عنا أيتها الممتلئة نعمة.

You are exalted, more than the patriarchs, and honored more, than the prophets.

Ⲧⲉϭⲟⲥⲓ ⲉ̀ⲙⲁϣⲱ: ⲉ̀ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲡⲁⲧⲣⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏⲥ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ: ⲉ̀ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ.

أنت مرتفعة جداً أكثر من رؤساء الآباء ومكرمة أفضل من الأنبياء.

And you have a seeking, more special, than the Cherubim, and the Seraphim.

Ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲧⲉ ϫⲓⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ: ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲣⲏⲥⲓⲁ̀: ⲉ̀ϩⲟⲧⲉ Ⲛⲓⲭⲉⲣⲟⲩⲃⲓⲙ: ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲛⲓⲥⲉⲣⲁⲫⲓⲙ.

ولك سعي بدالة أكثر من الشاروبيم والسارافيم.

For you are truly, the pride of our race, and the intercessor, of our souls.

Ⲛⲑⲟ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁ̀ⲗⲏⲑⲱⲥ: ⲡⲉ ⲡ̀ϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲛⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲥⲧⲁⲧⲏⲥ: ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲯⲩⲭⲏ.

لأنك أنت بالحقيقة فخر جنسنا وشفيعة نفوسنا.

Intercede for us, before our Savior, that He may keep us firm, in the upright faith.

Ⲁⲣⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲛ: ⲛⲁϩⲣⲉⲛ Ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ: ϩⲟⲡⲱⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲧⲁϫⲣⲟⲛ: ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ.

اشفعى فينا أمام مخلصنا لكى يثبتنا فى الإيمان المستقيم.

That He may grant us, the forgiveness our sins, in order to win mercy, through your intercessions.

Ⲛⲧⲉϥⲉⲣϩ̀ⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲁⲛ: ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲭⲱ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲛⲟⲃⲓ: ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛϣⲁϣⲛⲓ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲓ: ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲓⲁ̀.
