Part Four

You are the pot, made of pure gold, wherein was hidden, the true manna.

Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲧⲁⲙⲛⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲉⲧⲧⲟⲩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲛⲛⲁ ϩⲏⲡ ⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲏϯ

أنتِ هي قسط الذهب النقى المخفى المن فى وسطه.

* The Bread of Life, which came down from heaven, and gave life, unto the world.

Ⲡⲓⲱⲓⲕ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡ̀ⲱⲛϧ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ⲁϥϯ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲱⲛϧ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ

خبز الحياة الذى نزل لنا من السماء وأعطى الحياة للعالم.

Wherefore we, magnify you befittingly, with prophetic, hymnology.

Ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲧⲉⲛϭⲓⲥⲓ: ⲙ̀ⲙⲟ ⲁ̀ⲝⲓⲱⲥ: ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲩ̀ⲙⲛⲟⲗⲟⲅⲓⲁ̀: ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ.

من أجل هذا نُعظمك باستحقاق بتماجيد نبوية.

And we too, hope to win mercy, through your intercession, with the Lover of mankind.

Ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲱⲛ ⲧⲉⲛⲧⲱⲃϩ: ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲛϣⲁϣⲛⲓ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲓ: ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲓⲁ̀: ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ

ونحن أيضاً نطلب أن نفوز برحمة بشفاعاتك عند محب البشر.

It befits you, to be called, the Golden pot, where the manna was hidden.

Ϥ̀ⲧⲱⲙⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲧⲁⲙⲛⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲛⲛⲁ ϩⲏⲡ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧϥ

يليق بكِ أن يُدعى اسمك قسط الذهب المخفى فيه المن.

* For that was kept, in the Tabernacle, as a testimony, to the children of Israel.

Ⲫⲏ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ϣⲁⲩⲭⲁϥ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲥ̀ⲕⲏⲛⲏ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓⲥ̅ⲗ̅

فذاك وضع فى القبة شهادة لبنى إسرائيل.

Of the good things, that the Lord God, did unto them, in the wilderness of Sinai.

Ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲓⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲡⲟ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲫϯ ϩⲓ ⲡ̀ϣⲁϥⲉ ⲛ̀Ⲥⲓⲛⲁ

من أجل الخيرات التى صنعها معهم الرب الإله فى برية سيناء.

* You too O Mary, have carried in your womb, the rational Manna, that came from the Father.

Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟ ϩⲱⲓ Ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ ⲁ̀ⲣⲉϥⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲛⲉϫⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲏ̀ⲧⲟⲛ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ Ⲫ̀ⲓⲱⲧ

وأنتِ أيضاً يامريم حملت فى بطنك المن العقلى الذى أتى من الآب.

You bore Him without blemish, He gave unto us, His honored Body and Blood, and we lived forever.

Ⲁ̀ⲣⲉⲙⲁⲥϥ ⲁϭⲛⲉ ⲑⲱⲗⲉⲃ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉϥⲥ̀ⲛⲟϥ ⲉⲧⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲁⲛⲱⲛϧ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ

وولدته بغير دنس وأعطانا جسده ودمه الكريمين فحيينا إلى الآبد.

Wherefore we, magnify you befittingly, with prophetic, hymnology.

Ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲧⲉⲛϭⲓⲥⲓ: ⲙ̀ⲙⲟ ⲁ̀ⲝⲓⲱⲥ: ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲩ̀ⲙⲛⲟⲗⲟⲅⲓⲁ̀: ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ.

For they spoke of you, with great honor, O Holy City, of the Great King.

Ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲏϯ: ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛϩ̀ⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲉⲩⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ: ϯⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ: ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ.

لأنهم تكلموا من أجلك بأعمال كريمة أيتها المدينة المقدسة التى للملك العظيم.

We entreat and pray, that we may win mercy, through your intercessions, with the Lover of mankind.
