Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲕ̅ⲍ̅: ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ϣ̅ⲃ̅ⲗ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ : ⲁ̅-ⲓ̅ⲉ̅

من إشعياء النبي ص ٢٧: ١١ - ٢٨: ١ – ١٥

And after a time there shall be in it no green thing because of the grass being parched. Come hither, ye women that come from a sight; for it is a people of no understanding; therefore he that made them shall have no pity upon them, and he that formed them shall have no mercy upon them.

هلموا أيتها النساء الآتيات للنظر، لأنه ليس شعبا ذا فهم لذلك لا يرحمه خالق، ولا يترأف عليها جابله، ويكون في ذلك اليوم أن الرب يصنع إضراباً في معبر النهر إلى نقرورا (وادي مصر) وأنتم فإجمعوا بنى إسرائيل واحداً واحداً ويكون في ذلك اليوم أنه يبوق البوق العظيم، فتاتي الشعوب الكثيرة التي ضلت في كورة الأشوريين (الموصل) والذين تاهوا في مصر وسيسجدون للرب على جبل صهيون المقدس بأورشليم. الويل لإكليل الهوان المستأجر الذي لأفرام، الزهرة الحسنة التي سقطت من المجد على رأس الجبل الدسم، السكارى بغير خمر، هوذا غضب الرب قوى وصعب كبرد نازل وليس تحت مظلة. يؤتى عسفا كسيل المياه الغزيرة الجارفة في الكورة، وتصير راحة للأرض ويصنعها لأيديهم وأرجلهم ويداس إكليل الخزى المستأجر الذي لأفرام، وتكون الزهرة الساقطة من رجاء المجد تحت الجبل العالي، كمثل أساس التينة الذي ينظره، فقبل أن يتناوله يرى ان يلتهمه. في ذلك اليوم يكون رب الصباؤوت إكليل رجاء المجد الذي ضفره لبقية شعبى، وتبقى روح محاكمة على محاكمة وتمنع القوة عن الفساد، لأن هؤلاء ضالون من الخمر وتائهون من المسكر. الكاهن والنبي ترنحا من اجل الخمر وأضربا من سكر المسكر وضلوا وهذا هو حلم اللعنة تأكل مشورتهم مشورتهم التي هي جور. على من تقولتم الشر؟ وعلى من جدفتم؟ أعلى المفطومين عن لبنهم، المفصولين عن ثديهم؟ انتظروا شدة على شدة، عنقليل وبعد قليل، من أجل شتيمة الشفاه، وأيضاً يتكلمون مع هذا الشعب بلسان دغل القائلين له أن هذا هو راحةالجياع، وهذا هو إنحطام، ولم يريدوا أن يسمعوا ستكون لهم كلمة الرب الإله ضيق على ضيق ورجاء على رجاء عن قليل وبعد قليل، لكي يذهبوا ويسقط كثيراً منهم إلى الوراء وتضايقوا وينكسروا ويهلكوا، من أجل هذا إسمعوا قول الرب ايها الرجال العتاة، المتسلطون على هذا الشعب الذي في أورشليم لأنكم قلتم قد قررنا عهداً مع الجحيم، وميثاقا مع الموت، وإذا ما هب الريح العاصف من جهتنا لا يعبر علينا، لأننا قد جعلنا الكذب رجاءنا. وفي الكذب استترنا.

And it shall come to pass in that day that God shall fence men off from the channel of the river as far as Rhinocorura; but do ye gather one by one the children of Israel. And it shall come to pass in that day that they shall blow the great trumpet, and the lost ones in the land of the Assyrians shall come, and the lost ones in Egypt, and shall worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

Woe to the crown of pride, the hirelings of Ephraim, the flower that has fallen from the glory of the top of the fertile mountain, they that are drunken without wine. Behold, the anger of the Lord is strong and severe, as descending hail where there is no shelter, violently descending; as a great body of water sweeping away the soil, he shall make rest for the land. The crown of pride, the hirelings of Ephraim, shall be beaten down with the hands and with the feet. And the fading flower of the glorious hope on the top of the high mountain shall be as the early fig; he that sees it, before he takes it into his hand, will desire to swallow it down.

In that day the Lord of hosts shall be the crown of hope, the woven crown of glory, to the remnant of the people. They shall be left in the spirit of judgment for judgment, and for the strength of them that hinder slaying. For these have trespassed through wine; they have erred through strong drink: the priest and the prophet are mad through strong drink, they are swallowed up by reason of wine, they have staggered through drunkenness; they have erred: this is their vision. A curse shall devour this counsel, for this is their counsel for the sake of covetousness. To whom have we reported evils? and to whom have we reported a message? even to those that are weaned from the milk, who are drawn from the breast. Expect thou affliction on affliction, hope upon hope: yet a little, and yet a little, by reason of the contemptuous words of the lips, by means of another language: for they shall speak to this people, saying to them, This is the rest to him that is hungry, and this is the calamity: but they would not hear.

Therefore the oracle of God shall be to them affliction on affliction, hope on hope, yet a little, and yet a little, that they may go and fall backward; and they shall be crushed and shall be in danger, and shall be taken.

Therefore hear ye the word of the Lord, ye afflicted men, and ye princes of this people that is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with Hades, and agreements with death; if the rushing storm should pass, it shall not come upon us: we have made falsehood our hope, and by falsehood shall we be protected:

Glory be the Holy Trinity, our God, forever and ever. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, Both now and ever and unto age of ages. Amen.

أبانا الذي فى السموات، ليتقدس إسمك، ليأت ملكوتك. لتكن مشيئتك كما فى السماء كذلك على الأرض. خبزنا الذي للغد أعطنا اليوم واغفر لنا ذنوبنا كما نغفر نحن أيضاً للمذنبين إلينا. ولا تُدخلنا فى تجربة لكن نجنا من الشرير بالمسيح يسوع ربنا. لأن لك الملك والقوة والمجد إلى الأبد. آمين.

Wherefore did the heathen rage, and the nations imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers gathered themselves together, against the Lord, and against his Christ; He that dwells in the heavens shall laugh them to scorn, and the Lord shall mock them. Alleluia.

لماذا ارتجت الأمم وهذت الشعوب بالأباطيل. قامت ملوك الأرض والرؤساء اجتمعوا معاً على الرب وعلى مسيحه. هلليلوياه. الساكن في السموات يضحك بهم والرب يمقتهم. حينئذ يكلمهم بغضبه وبرجزه يقلقهم. الليلويا.

Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days. And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death. وأما رؤوساء الكهنة والمحفل كله كانوا يطلبون شهادة زور على يسوع لكي يقتلوه فلم يجدوا، وحضر شهود زور كثيرون وأخيرا حضر إثنان وقال: إن هذا قال إنى أقدر أن أنقض هيكل الله وفي ثلاثة أيام أبينه. فقام رئيس الكهنة وقال له: أما تجيب بشيء عما يشهد به هذا عليك؟! أما يسوع فكان ساكناً. فقال له رئيس الكهنة: أقسم عليك بالله الحى أن تقول لنا إن كنت أنت هو المسيح ابن الله الحي؟!. فقال له يسوع : أنت قلت، وأيضاً أقول لكم من الآن تبصرون إبن الإنسان جالساً عن يمين القوة، وآتيا على سحاب السماء. فشق رئيس الكهنة حينئذ ثيابه قائلا: لقد جدف. ما حاجتنا بعد إلى شهود ها قد سمعتم الآن التجديف. فماذا ترون؟!. أما هم فأجابوا وقالوا: إنه لمستوجب الموت حينئذ بصقوا في وجهه ولكموه ثم ضربوه قائلين: تنبأ لنا أيها المسيح، من ضربك؟! أما بطرس فكان جالساً خارجاً في الدار، فدنت منه جارية قائلة : وأنت أيضاً كنت مع يسوع الجليلي. فأما هو فأنكر قدام كل أحد قائلا: لست أدرى ما تقولين، ثم خرج إلى الدهليز فرأته اخرى فقالت للذين كانوا هناك: وهذا أيضاً كان مع يسوع الناصرى. فأنكر أيضاً بقسم: إنى لست أعرف هذا الرجل. وبعد قليل جاء القيام وقالوا لبطرس: حقاً أنت ايضاً منهم، فإن كلامك أيضاً يظهرك. فإبتدأ حينئذ يلعن ويحلف: إنى لا أعرف هذا الرجل. وللوقت صاح الديك. فتذكر بطرس الكلام الذي قاله يسوع له: أنك قبل صياح الديك تنكرني ثلاث مرات. فخرج وبكى بكاء مراً.

Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest. And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth. And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man. And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none. For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together. And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying, We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands. But neither so did their witness agree together. And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. وأما رؤساء الكهنة والمجمع كله فكانوا يطلبون شهادة على يسوع ليقتلوه فلم يجدوا. لأن كثيرين كانوا يشهدون عليه زورا ولم تتفق شهاداتهم. ثم قام قوم وشهدوا عليه كذباً قائلين: نحن سمعناه يقول أني أنقض هذا الهيكل المصنوع بالأيادي، وفي ثلاثة أيام ابنى آخر غير مصنوع بأيد. ولا في هذا ايضاً كانت شهادتهم تتفق، فقام رئيس الكهنة وأيضأً وقال له : أأنت المسيح ابن المبارك؟ فقال له يسوع:أنا هو، وسوف تبصرون إبن الإنسان جالساً عن يمين القوة وآتيا مع سحاب السماء. فمزق رئيس الكهنة ثيابه وقال ما حاجتكم بعد إلى الشهود، قد سمعتم التجديف ظاهراً لكم. فأما هو فحكموا عليه الجميع بأنه مستوجب الموت. فابتدأ قوم يتفلون عليه ويغطون وجهه ويلطمونه، ويقولون له: تنبأ لنا أيها المسيح، من هو الذي لطمك الآن!. ثم تناوله الخادم بالطم، وبينما كان بطرس في الدار الأسفل جاءت واحدة من جواري رئيس الكهن، ولما رأت بطرس يصطلى تفرست فيه وقالت له: وأنت أيضاً كنت مع يسوع الناصري. أما هو فأنكر قائلا: لست أدري ولا أعرف ما تقولين. فخرج إلى موضع خارج الدار فصاح ديك، فرأته الجارية ثانية فجعلت تقول للحاضرين: إن هذا منهم. أما هو فأنكر أيضاً. وبعد قليل أيضا قال الحاضرون لبطرس: بالحقيقة أنت منهم لأنك جليلي وكلامك يشبه كلامهم. أما هو فابتدأ يلعن ويحلف: أننى لا أعرف هذا الرجل الذي تقولون عنه. فصاح الديك للمرة الثانية، فتذكر بطرس الكلام الذي قال له يسوع: أنك قبل أن يصيح ديك مرتين تنكرن ثلاث مرات. فتحول يبكي.

And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest:

And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth. But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew. And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them. And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto. But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak. And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him. And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not. And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not. And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean. And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew. And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

أما بطرس فرأته جارية جالساً عن الضوء فتفرست فيه ثم قالت:: أن هذا أيضا كان معه أما هو فأنكره قائلا: لست اعرفه يا إمرأة. وبعد قليل رآه أخر فقال: وأنت ايضاً منهم. فقال بطرس: يا رجل لست أنا. ولما مضى نحو ساعة كان آخر يؤكد قائلاً: في الحقيقة هذا أيضاً كان معه، لأنه جليلي فقال بطرس: يا رجل لست اعرف ما تقول. وللوقت بينما هو يتكلم صاح الديك. فإلتفت الرب ونظر إلى بطرس، فتذكر بطرس قول الرب كما قال له أنه: قبل أن يصيح ديك تنكرني ثلاث مرات. فخرج بطرس خارجاً وبكى مرارة، والرجال الذين أمسكوه كانوا يهزأوه به ويضربونه وغطوه، وكانوا يسألونه قائلين: تنبأ لنا من الذي ضربكً! وأشياء أخرى كثيرة كانوا يقولونها عليه مجدفين.

And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.

And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee? And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.

John 18:15-27

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲓ̅ⲏ̅:ⲓ̅ⲉ̅-ⲕ̅ⲍ̅

يوحنا ١٨: ١٥ – ٢٧

And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

وكان سمعان بطرس والتلميذ الآخر يتبعان يسوع، وكان التلميذ معروفا عند رئيس الكهنة، فدخل مع يسوع إلى دار رئيس الكهنة، وأما بطرس فكان واقفاً عن الباب خارجا، فخرج التلميذ الذي كان معروفاً عند رئيس الكهنة، فكلم البوابة وأدخل بطرس، فقالت الفتاة البوابة لبطرس: ألست أنت أيضاً من تلاميذ هذا الرجل؟!. أما هو فقال: لا. وكان العبيد والخدام قياماً يوقدون لهم حطبا لأنه كان شتاء، وكانوا يصطلون، وكان بطرس أيضاً معهمواقفا يصطلى، فسأل رئيس الكهنة يسوع عن تلاميذه وعن تعليمه، فأجابه يسوع قائلاً: أنا كلمت العالم علانية وكنت أعلم كل حين في المجامع وفي الهيكل حيث تجتمع كل اليهود، ولم أقل كلمة في الخفاء. لماذا تسألني، سل الذين سمعوا ما قلت لهم. هوذا هؤلاء يعرفون ماذا قلت أنا. ولما قال يسوع هذا لطم يسوع واحد من الخدام الواقفين. فأجاب يسوع وقال له: إن كنت قد تكلمت ردياً فإشهد بالردى، وإن حسناً فلماذا تضربني؟! حينئذ أرسله حنان موثقا إلى قيافا رئيس الكهنة، وكان سمعان بطرس واقفا يصطلى، فقالوا له: ألست أنت أيضاً من تلاميذه؟!. أما هو فأنكر وقال: لا. فقال له واحد من عبيد رئيس الكهنة، وهو نسيب الذي قطع بطرس أذنه: أما رأيتك معه في البستان؟! فأنكر بطرس أيضاً، وللوقت صاح الديك.

But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter. Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not. And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.

The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.

Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said. And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so? Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me? Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.

One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him? Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.

طرح الساعة الحادية عشر من ليلة الجمعة العظيمة من البصخة المقدسة، بركاتها علينا. آمين.

Listen to David the king of Jerusalem, chide her dwellers saying, why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain. The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and his Christ. David knew by inspiration of the Holy Spirit what would happen to Jerusalem, which become a corrupt forum in the house of the high priest. They sough a false testimony against Jesus so that they may condemn him to death. Many testified against Him but only the testimony of two of them concurred. These testified that He said, “Destroy the temple and I will rebuild it in three days.” The high priest asked him, why don’t you reply. If you are the Son of God, tell the truth, you said it, replied Jesus. The high priest rent his robes and said, we don’t need any testimony. He has uttered blasphemy and we heard it. During all this, Simon Peter was standing by the fire, warming himself up. A maid came up to him and said: You also were with Jesus the Galilean. He denied it. Then another maid saw him and said to him, You are also a Galilean. Peter replied: Not I. Then the third time, another said to him, I saw you with him in the garden. Peter said: I don’t know what you are talking about. When the cock crows, Peter became aware of what he did. He went outside and wept bitterly.

إسمعوا يا داود ملك أورشليم يبكت رجالها والسكان فيها قائلا: لماذا الأمم رفعوا أصواتهم والشعوب تكلموا بالأباطيل؟ قامت ملوك الأرض ورؤساؤهم واجتمعوا معاً، هؤلاء اجتمعوا على الرب وعلى مسيحه مخلص العالم. علم داود بالروح القدس ما سيكون بأورشليم التي هي صارت مجمع باطل في دار رئيس كهنتها، فإنهم كانوا يطلبون شهادة زور على يسوع ليحكموا عليه بحكم الموت، فشهد عليه رجال كثيرون فلم تتفق شهاداتهم إلا رجلان جاءا أخيرا وشهدا هكذا امام الجميع بإنه قال: انقضوا هذا الهيكل وانا أقيمه في ثلاثة أيام. قال رئيس الكهنة: لم لا تجيبني؟ إن كنت أنت إبن الله فقل الحق. أنت الذي قلت إني أنا إبن الله، فشق رئيس الكهنة ثيابه: لسنا نحتاج إلى شهادة، قد جدف، وتجديفه سمعنا!. وفي هذا كله كان سمعان بطرس واقفا يصطلى، فقال له واحد: انت تلميذهذا الجليلي. فقال: لا. وآخر قال: أنت أيضاً رجل جليلي. فقال: لست انا. وفي ثالث دفعة، قال له آخر: أنا رأيتك معه في البستان. فحرم نفسه وحده قائلا: إني لا أعرف معنى ما تقولون. وعندما صاح الدين تيقظ بطرس وخرج إلى خارج وبكى بكاءا مرا.

Christ our Savior, has come and has borne suffering, that through His passion, He may save us.

Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ: ⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲁϥϣⲉⲡⲙ̀ⲕⲁϩ: ϩⲓⲛⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥ ⲙ̀ⲕⲁⲩϩ: ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲥⲱϯ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ.

المسيح مخلصنا جاء وتألم عنا لكى بآلامه يخلصنا.

Let us glorify Him, and exalt His Name, for He has done us mercy, according to His great mercy.
