And Amalec came and fought with Israel in Raphidin. And Moses said to Joshua, Choose out for thyself mighty men, and go forth and set the army in array against Amalec to-morrow; and, behold, I shall stand on the top of the hill, and the rod of God will be in my hand. And Joshua did as Moses said to him, and he went out and set the army in array against Amalec, and Moses and Aaron and Or went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass, when Moses lifted up his hands, Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hands, Amalec prevailed. But the hands of Moses were heavy, and they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat upon it; and Aaron and Or supported his hands one on this side and the other on that, and the hands of Moses were supported till the going down of the sun. And Joshua routed Amalec and all his people with the slaughter of the sword. And the Lord said to Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and speak this in the ears of Joshua; for I will utterly blot out the memorial of Amalec from under heaven. And Moses built an altar to the Lord, and called the name of it, The Lord my Refuge. For with a secret hand the Lord wages war upon Amalec to all generations.

وأتى عماليق وحارب إسرائيل فى رفازين، فقال موسى ليشوع : إختر لك رجالاً وأخرج حارب عماليق غداً، وهوذا أنا واقف على رأس الجبل وعصا الله فى يدى. ففعل يشوع كما قال له موسى وخرج فحارب عماليق، وصعد موسى وهرون وحور على قمة الجبل، فكان إذا رفع موسى يديه يغلب بنو إسرائيل، وإذا خفض يديه يغلب عماليق. فلما كلّت يدا موسى أخذا حجراً ووضعاه تحته وجلس عليه، ودعم هرون وحور يديه، أحدهما من هنا والآخر من هناك. فكانت يدا موسى ثابتين الى غروب الشمس، فقتل يشوع عماليق وكل جمعه قتلاً بحد السيف، فال الرب لموسى : أكتب هذا فى سفر للذكرى وسلّمه ليدى يشوع لأنى سأمحو ذكر عماليق محواً من تحت السماء. فبنى موسى مذبحاً ودعا إسمه الرب ملجأى لأنه بيد خفية يحارب الرب عماليق من جيل الى جيل.مجداً للثالوث الاقدس

So Moses brought up the children of Israel from the Red Sea, and brought them into the wilderness of Sur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water to drink. and they came to Merrha, and could not drink of Merrha, for it was bitter; therefore he named the name of that place, Bitterness. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? And Moses cried to the Lord, and the Lord shewed him a tree, and he cast it into the water, and the water was sweetened: there he established to him ordinances and judgments, and there he proved him, and said, If thou wilt indeed hear the voice of the Lord thy God, and do things pleasing before him, and wilt hearken to his commands, and keep all his ordinances, no disease which I have brought upon the Egyptians will I bring upon thee, for I am the Lord thy God that heals thee. And they came to Ælim, and there were there twelve fountains of water, and seventy stems of palm-trees; and they encamped there by the waters. And they departed from Ælim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Ælim and Sina; and on the fifteenth day, in the second month after their departure from the land of Egypt, all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron. ثم إرتحل موسى ببنى إسرائيل من البحر الأحمر، وجاء بهم الى برية شور، وساروا ثلاثة أيام فى البرية ولم يجدوا ماء للشرب، فجاءوا الى مارة ولم يقدروا أن يشربوا ماء من مارة لأنه مرّ، ولذلك دعى ذلك المكان مر، فتذمر الشعب على موسى قائلين: ماذا نشرب؟ فصرخ موسى الى الرب، فأراه الرب عوداً فطرحه فى الماء، فصار الماء عذباً فى ذلك المكان قرر له الفرائض والاحكام، وفى ذلك المكان حربه وقال له إن أنت سمعت وأطعت صوت الرب الهك وعملت ما يرضيه أمامه وحفظت كل وصاياه وأوامره، فكل مرض أتيت به على المصريين لا أجلبه عليك لأنى أنا الرب الذى يشفيك. وجاءوا الى ايليم وأتى كل جماعة بنى إسرائيل الى برية سيناء التى بين إيليم وبين سيناء فى اليوم الخامس عشر من الشهر الثانى لخروجهم من أرض مصر، فتذمر جماعة بنى إسرائيل على موسى وهارون وقال لهما بنو إسرائيل : ليتنا متنا فى أرض مصر إذ كنا جالسين عند قدور اللحم ونأكل خبزاً وشبعنا وأخرجتمونا الى البرية، لكى تميتونا مع كل الجماعة بالجوع.مجداً للثالوث الاقدس

Cry aloud, and spare not; lift up thy voice as with a trumpet, and declare to my people their sins, and to the house of Jacob their iniquities. They seek me day by day, and desire to know my ways, as a people that had done righteousness, and had not forsaken the judgment of their God: they now ask of me righteous judgment, and desire to draw nigh to God, saying, Why have we fasted, and thou regardest not? why have we afflicted our souls, and thou didst not know it? أصرخ بقوة ولا تشفق، إرفع صوتك مثل بوق، أخبر شعبى بخطاياهم وبيت يعقوب بذنوبهم. يطلبوننى يوماً فيوماً ويشتهون أن يعرفوا طرقى، مثل شعب يصنع العدل ولم يترك حكم الهه، يسألونى الآن حكماً عادلاً. ويشتهون أن يقتربوا الى قائلين : لماذا صمنا ولم تنظرنا، وأذللنا أنفسنا ولم تعلم؟ لأن فى أيام صومكم تجدون مسرتكم وتعنتون من هم تحت سلطانكم، وتصومون للمنازعات والمخاصمات وتضربون الذليل، لماذا تصومون لى مثل اليوم لأسمع صوتكم بصراخ؟ لست أختار أنا هذا الصوم، ولا يوماً يذل الانسان نفسه ولو أنك احنيت عنقك مثل الطوق وتفرش مسحاً ورماداً تحتك فليس هكذا تدعون صوماً مقبولاً، ليس هذا لاصوم الذى انا اخترته قال الرب، لكن حل كل رباط الظلم، فك كل عقد المعاملات الاقتسارية، أرسل للمنكسرين بالتخلية وخزق كل مكتوب ظالم، إكسر خبزك للجائع، أدخل المساكين الذين لا مأوى لهم الى بيتك، إن رأيت عرياناً إكسوه، وخواص زرعك لا تتغافل عنه، حينئذ ينفجر نورك مثل الصبح وأشفيتك تشرق سريعاً، ويتقدم عدلك قدامك، ومجد الله يجللك، حينئذ تصرخ والله يسمعك، وتعطى للجائع خبزك من كل قلبك وتشبع النفس الذليلة، حينئذ يشرق نورك فى الظلمة، وتصير ظلمتك مثل الظهيرة ويكون الهك معك كل حين وتمتلىء كما تشتهى نفسك.مجداً للثالوث الاقدس

But the soul that sins shall die: and the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, nor shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the iniquity of the transgressor shall be upon him. And if the transgressor turn away from all his iniquities which he has committed, and keep all my commandments, and do justice and mercy, he shall surely live, and shall by no means die. None of his trespasses which he has committed shall be remembers: in his righteousness which he has done he shall live. Shall I at all desire death of the sinner, saith the Lord, as I desire that he should turn from his evil way, and live? But when the righteous man turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, according to all the transgressions which the transgressor has wrought, none of his righteousness which he has wrought shall be at all remembered: in his trespass wherein he has trespassed, and in his sins wherein he has sinned, in them shall he die. Yet ye have said, The way of the Lord is not straight. Hear now, all the house of Israel; will not my way be straight? Is your way straight? When the righteous turns away from his righteousness and commits a trespass, and dies in the trespass he has committed, he shall even die in it. هذا ما يقوله الرب : النفس التى تخطىء هى التى تموت، الابن لا يحمل ظلم أبيه ولا الأب ظلم إبنه، بر البار عليه يعود، ونفاق المنافق عليه يعود، والمنافق اذا تاب عن جميع خطاياه وحفظ وصاياى كلها وأجرى العدل والرحمة، فأنه يحيا حياة ولا يموت وكلا خطاياه لا تذكر وببره الذى صنعه يحيا، لأننى لا أريد موت الخاطىء يقول الرب، مثل ما يرجع عن طريقه الرديه ويحيا، واذا ارتد البار عن بره وصنع كل الآثام التى يصنعها المنافق فكل بره الذى صنعه فى زلاته التى صنعها لا يذكر له، ولكنه يموت بالخطية التى خطأ بها. فإسمعوا الآن يا بيت اسرائيل لأنكم تقولون : أن طريقى غير مستقيم وطرقنا مستقيمة فطرقكم غير مستقيمة، عندما يرتد البار عن بره ويفعل الأثم فأنه بأثمه الذى صنعه يموت، وعندما يرجع عن كل نفاقه الذى صنعه. يحيا حياة ولا يموت، لأن بيت إسرائيل يقول أن طريقى ليست مستقيمة. أليست طرقكم هى الغير مستقيمة، لهذا أدينكم كل واحد عن طرقه يا بيت اسرائيل يقول الرب؟ اننى لا اريد موت من يموت يقول الرب الضابط الكل.

هذا هو يوم التقدم الى المائدة الرهيبة، فلنتقدم كلنا اليها بطهارة ولا يكن أحدنا شريراً مثل يهوذا، لأنه مكتوب لما تناول الخبز دخله الشيطان فسلّم رب المجد، وليفحص كل واحد منا ذاته قبل ان يتقدم الى جسد ودم المسيح لكى لا يكون له دينونة، لأنه ليس إنسان الذى يناول الخبز والدم، ولكن هو المسيح الذى صلب عنا وهو القائم على هذه المائدة بسر. هذا الذى له القوة والنعمة يقول : هذا هو جسدى. وكما أن نطق بها مرة واحدة منذ البدء قائلا : اكثروا وانموا واملأو ا الارض هى دائمة فى كل حين تفعل فى طبيعتنا زيادة التناسل، كذلك الكلمة التى قالها المسيح على تلك المائدة الباقية فى الكنائس الى هذا اليوم والى مجيئهمكملة كل عمل الذبيحة.

Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. وفى تلك الايام قام بطرس فى وسط الأخوة وكان عدة أسماء معاً نحو مئة وعشرين إسماً فقال : أيها الرجال إخوتنا ينبغى أن يتم هذا المكتوب الذى سبق الرو ح القدس فقاله بفم داود عن يهوذا الذى صار دليلاً للذين قبضوا على يسوع. إذا كان معدوداً بيننا وصار له نصيب فى هذه الخدمة، فإن هذا إشترى له حقلاً من أجرة الظلم وإذا سقط على وجهه إنشق من الوسط. فإسكبت أحشاؤه كلها، وصار هذا معلوماً عند جميع سكان أورشليم حتى دعى إسم ذلك الحقل فى لغتهم إبكيل داماغ الذى تفسيره حقل الدم، لأنه مكتوب فى سفرالمزامير:

(Let his habitation be desolate)3, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

(لتصر داره خراباً )٣ ولا يكن فيها ساكن وليأخذ وظيفته آخر. لم تزل كلمة الرب تنمو وتكثر وتعتز فى هذه البيعه وكل بيعة الى الابد.

Passover is drawing near O Lord. We have found the place to celebrate it in. You are our Passover. He sent two of his disciples – Safa and John – and he told them; go to this town and you will find a man carrying a jar of water. Follow his footsteps to the place where he goes in. Go see the owner of the house and tell him, the Lord says, “where is the place where I celebrate Passover.” He will show you an upper room which is vacant but furnished. Make preparation for Passover there. They did as the Lord said. Come along all ye nations and rejoice, God the Word is our Passover. The First Passover lamb delivered the people from the servitude of Pharaoh. The new Passover is the Son of God who saves the World from corruption. In so many forms he prepared the world – from the east to the west – for eternal salvation. He lifted us to the heights of his mercy and compassion. He manifested the greatness of His grace that He bestowed on all the creation. He carried our load and granted us His righteousness.

يوم الفصح قد اقترب يا سيدنا، عرّفنا المكان الذى نعده لك، هكذا قال التلاميذ للمعلم، أنت هو فصحنا يا يسوع المسيح. فأرسل إثنين من تلاميذه، الصفا ويوحنا وقال لهما : قوما وأمضيا الى هذه المدينة فتجدان رجلاً حاملاً جرة ماء، إذا مشى سيراً أنتما خلفه الى الموضع الذى يدخل اليه، فقولا لصاحب البيت، يقول المعلم، أين المكان الذى آكل فيه الفصح؟ فذلك يريكما عليه علوية خالية مفروشة، أعدا الفصح فى ذلك الموضع. وهكذا صنعا كقول الرلب تعالوا ايها الامم افرحوا وتهللوا لان الاله الكلمه صار لكم فصحا الفصح الاول الذي بالخروف خلص الشعب من عبوديه فرعون والفصح الجديد هو ابن الله الذي خلص العالم من الفساد بانواع كثيره واشياء شتي اعد الخلاص والنجاه الابديه لكن هذا الخلاص هو لكل العالم من مشارقه الشمس الي مغاربها جذب كل واحد الي علو رحمته والرافه التي كان يصنعها واظهر لهم كثره نعمته التي افاضها علي كل موضع من المسكونه اخذ الذي لنا وجعله مع الذي له وتفضل علينا بصلاحه.
