Micah 3:1-4

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲅ̅:ⲁ̅-ⲇ̅

ميخا ٣ : ١ - ٤

And he shall say, Hear now these words, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and ye remnant of the house of Israel; is it not for you to know judgment? who hate good, and seek evil; who tear their skins off them, and their flesh off their bones: even as they devoured the flesh of my people, and stripped their skins off them, and broke their bones, and divided them as flesh for the caldron, and as meat for the pot, thus they shall cry to the Lord, but he shall not hearken to them; and he shall turn away his face from them at that time, because they have done wickedly in their practices against themselves.

والرب يرشدهم ويقول: اسمعوا هذا يا رؤساء بيت يعقوب ومختاري بيت اسرائيل. أما ينبغي لكم أن تعرفوا الحكم أيها الباغضون الخيرات والمبتغون الشرور؟ النازعون جلودهم عنهم ولحومهم عن عظامهم؟ وكما أكلوا لحوم شعبي وكشطوا جلودهم عن عظامهم، وكسروا عظامهم وقطعوها كلحوم المراجل، وكاللحم في وسط القدور. حينئذ يصرخون إلى الرب فلا يجيبهم. بل يصرف وجهه عنهم في ذلك الوقت. والشر الذي صنعوه باساءتهم يأتي عليهم.

Glory be the Holy Trinity, our God, forever and ever. Amen.

أبانا الذي فى السموات، ليتقدس إسمك، ليأت ملكوتك. لتكن مشيئتك كما فى السماء كذلك على الأرض. خبزنا الذي للغد أعطنا اليوم واغفر لنا ذنوبنا كما نغفر نحن أيضاً للمذنبين إلينا. ولا تُدخلنا فى تجربة لكن نجنا من الشرير بالمسيح يسوع ربنا. لأن لك الملك والقوة والمجد إلى الأبد. آمين.

من أجل أن نكون مستحقين لسماع الإنجيل المقدس. إلى ربنا وإلهنا نتوسل بحكمة مستقيمين إنصتوا للإنجيل المقدس.

O Lord, have compassion and mercy upon us, and make us worthy to listen to Thine Holy Gospel. A chapter from the Gospel according to Saint Matthew the evangelist, may his blessings be with us. Amen.

اللهم ترائف علينا وإرحمنا وإجعلنا مستحقين لسماع إنجيلك المقدس. فصل من إنجيل معلمنا متى البشير، بركاته علينا. آمين.

Matthew 17:19-23

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲓ̅ⲍ̅:ⲓ̅ⲑ̅-ⲕ̅ⲅ̅

متى ١٧ : ١٩ – ٢٣

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

حينئذ جاء التلاميذ إلى يسوع منفردين وحدهم وقالوا له: لماذا لم نقدر نحن أن نخرجه؟ أما هو فقال لهم: لأجل قلة إيمانكم. الحق أقول لكم لو كان لكم إيمان مثل حبة خردل لكنتم تقولون لهذا الجبل انتقل من هنا إلى هناك فينتقل، ولا يكون شئ غير ممكن لديكم. وأما هذا الجنس فلا يخرج إلا بالصلاة والصوم. وبينما هم يترددون في الجليل قال لهم يسوع: إن ابن الإنسان سيسلم إلى أيدي الناس فيقتلونه. وبعد ثلثة أيام يقوم. فحزنت قلوبهم جداً.

Listen to the Merciful and Beneficient who is all goodness and compssion. He glorifies prayer and honors fasting because they are the roots for all virtues.

اسمعوا الرؤوف الصانع الخيرات ذا الصلاح والتحنن، يمجد الصلاة ويكرم الصوم، لأنهما أساس سائر الفضائل.

Whe His disciples asked Him: "why could we not cast the demon out." He said to them: "Because of your little faith the demon would not come out. For trustly I say to you, if you have faith, you will say to this mountain 'Move from here to there' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you;" for everything is possible to the believer.

فإن تلاميذه عندما سألوه قائلين: لماذا لم نقدر نحن أن نخرج الشيطان؟ قال لهم: لأجل عدم إيمانكم امتنع الشيطان أن يخرج. ثم قال الرب: أقول لكم: لو كان لكم إيمان لكنتم تقولون لهذا الجبل انتقل إلى هنا فلوقته سريعاً كان يسمع لكم، ولا يعسر عليكم شئ. فإن كل شئ مستطاع للمؤمن.

So let us cherish a greate hope and a true faith free of doubt, and let us be zealous in charity that surpasses everything; for He who loves accepts everything. Let us love fasting and pray consistently so that we may gain His promises.

فلنقتن لنا رجاءً عظيماً وإيماناً حقيقياً بغير شك، ولننمو في المحبة التي تفوق كل شئ، فإن الذي يحب يصدق كل شئ، ولنواظب على الصلاة، ونحب الصوم لكي نفوز بمواعيده.

Christ our Savior, has come and has borne suffering, that through His passion, He may save us.
