Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲙ̅ⲏ̅ : ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ - ⲃ̅ⲗ̅

أشعياء ٤٨ : ١٢-٢٢

Hear me, O Jacob, and Israel whom I call; I am the first, and I endure for ever. My hand also has founded the earth, and my right hand has fixed the sky:

Ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ Ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ Ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲉ̀ϯⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲁⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ. Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲁϫⲓϫ ⲑⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲥ ϩⲓⲥⲉⲛϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲁⲟⲩⲓ̀ⲛⲁⲙ ⲑⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲥ ⲧⲁϫⲣⲉ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ.

إسمع لي يا يعقوب واسرائيل الذي دعوته: أنا هو. أنا الأزلي وأنا الأبدي. ويدي التي أسست الأرض. ويميني التي ثبتت السماء.

I will call them, and they shall stand together. And all shall be gathered, and shall hear: who has told them these things? Out of love to thee I have fulfilled thy desire on Babylon, to abolish the seed of the Chaldeans.

Ϯⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲥⲉⲟ̀ϩⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲡ. Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲥⲉⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉ̀ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁϫⲱ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲁ̀ⲣⲓⲉ̀ⲙⲓⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲕ ⲁⲓⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ Ⲑ̀ⲃⲁⲃⲩⲗⲱⲛ ⲉ̀ⲱ̀ⲗⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ϫⲣⲟϫ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲭⲁⲗⲇⲉⲟⲥ.

أنا أدعوهن جميعاً فيقفن معاً. اجتمعوا كلكم واسمعوا ما أقوله لكن: هكذا اعرفوا أنني صنعت مسرتي ببابل. وابدت نسل الكلدانيين.

I have spoken, I have called, I have brought him, and made his way prosperous. Draw nigh to me, and hear ye these words; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning: when it took place, there was I, and now the Lord, even the Lord, and his Spirit, hath sent me. Thus saith the Lord that delivered thee, the Holy One of Israel; I am thy God, I have shewn thee how thou shouldest find the way wherein thou shouldest walk. And if thou hadst hearkened to my commandments, then would thy peace have been like a river, and thy righteousness as a wave of the sea. Thy seed also would have been as the sand, and the offspring of thy belly as the dust of the ground: neither now shalt thou by any means be utterly destroyed, neither shall thy name perish before me.

أنا تكلمت. أنا دعوت وأتيت به. وقومت طريقه. اقتربوا إليّ واسمعوا هذه لأني منذ البدء لم أتكلم في الخفاء ولا في الأرض المظلمة. لأني عند كونها أنا حاضر. والآن فالرب أرسلني مع روحه. هكذا يقول الرب مخلصك قدوس اسرائيل. أنا هو الله معلمك لتجد الطريق الذي تسير فيه. ليتك أصغيت لوصاياي فكانت سلامتك كالنهر، وعدلك كأمواج البحر. ونسلك يصير كالرمل، وذرية بطنك كحصى الأرض.

Go forth of Babylon, thou that fleest from the Chaldeans: utter aloud a voice of joy, and let this be made known, proclaim it to the end of the earth; say ye, The Lord hath delivered his servant Jacob. And if they shall thirst, he shall lead them through the desert; he shall bring forth water to them out of the rock: the rock shall be cloven, and the water shall flow forth, and my people shall drink. There is no joy, saith the Lord, to the ungodly.

ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲛⲁϥⲟⲧⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ: ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲁⲙⲑⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ Ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲃⲁⲃⲩⲗⲱⲛ ⲉⲕⲫⲏⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲭⲁⲗⲇⲉⲟⲥ Ϫⲱ ⲙⲡϧⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲥⲟⲑⲙⲉϥ ⲁϫⲟϥ ϣⲁⲁⲩⲣⲏϫϥ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲠⲟ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲃⲱⲕ Ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲛ ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛⲓⲃⲓ ϩⲓⲡϣⲁϥⲉ ⲉϥⲉⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲡⲉⲧⲣⲁ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲉⲧⲣⲁ ⲛⲁⲫⲱϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲥⲱ ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲣⲁϣⲓ ϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲡⲟ̅ⲥ̅.

والآن لا أمحوك ولا يباد اسمك من قدامي. فاخرج من بابل واهرب من الكلدانيين وبصوت الشدو أخبر ليسمعوا. نا بهذا. شيعة إلى أقطار الأرض. قل أن الرب فدى يعقوب عبده. وإذ عطشوا في البرية أخرج لهم من الصخرة ماء. وشق الصخرة ففاضت المياة فشرب الشعب. ليس سلام للمنافقين يقول الرب.

God is jealous, and the Lord avenges; the Lord avenges with wrath; the Lord takes vengeance on his adversaries, and he cuts off his enemies. The Lord is long-suffering, and his power is great, and the Lord will not hold any guiltless: his way is in destruction and in the whirlwind, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

الرب إله غيور ومنتقم. ينتقم الرب بغضب من المقاومين له. وهو يبيد أعداءه. الرب هو طويل الروح وعظيمة هي قوته. ولكنه لا يبرر الخاطئ. الرب في الزوبعة والعواصف طريقه. السحاب طريق أقدامه.

He threatens the sea, and dries it up, and exhausts all the rivers: the land of Basan, and Carmel are brought low, and the flourishing trees of Libanus have come to nought. The mountains quake at him, and the hills are shaken, and the earth recoils at his presence, even the world, and all that dwell in it. Who shall stand before his anger? and who shall withstand in the anger of his wrath? his wrath brings to nought kingdoms, and the rocks are burst asunder by him.

يغضب على البحر فييبسه وجميع الأنهار يجففها. قد ذوى باشان والكرمل، وذبل زهر لبنان. تزلزلت منه الجبال ونحركت الآكام وانطوت الأرض من أمام وجهه، الدنيا وكل الساكنين فيها. من يقدر أن يقف أمام سخط وجهه؟ ومن الذي يقاومه عند حنق رجزه؟ لأن غضبه يبيد الرؤساء، ومنه تزلزلت الصخور.

The Lord is good to them that wait on him in the day of affliction; and he knows them that reverence him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end: darkness shall pursue those that rise up against him and his enemies.

صالح هو الرب لمنتظريه في يوم ضيقهم. وهو عارف لخائفيه. وبطوفان عابر يصنع هلاكاً تاماً بالقائمين عليه. وأعداؤه يطاردهم ظلام.

طرح الساعة الحادية عشر من يوم أحد الشعانين من البصخة المقدسة، بركاته علينا. آمين.

Reader

In the minds of the antagonizing Jews, our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ was like the kings of this world, with the people surrounding Him, troops, soldiers and warriors, like those of kings. These were the thoughts of the mother of John and Jacob, sons of Zebedee. She came to our Saviour while He was surrounded by the people and by His disciples. She worshipped Him, with her sons, and said: “Grant that my two sons may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.”

الأفكار التي كانت لليهود المخالفين بخصوص مخلصنا وملكنا المسيح أنه مثل ملوك الأرض، والجموع الكثيرة والجنود والمحاربون يحيطون به مثل الملوك. هكذا ظننت أم يوحنا ويعقوب ابن زبدي. فكرت هكذا وأتت إلى مخلصنا أمام الجمع مع تلاميذه وسجدت له مع ابنيها، وسألته وطلبت منه هكذا قائلة: قل كلمة أن يجلس ابناي الاثنان معك في ملكوتك، واحد عن يمينك والآخر عن يسارك في مجد مملكتك.

Hear then, what the merciful and most compassionate Lord, who desires salvation for the whole world, said: “Are you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to Him: “We are able.” He answered them: “You will indeed be able to, but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give; it shall be given to those chosen by my omnipresent Father.” The two brothers were quiet when they heard those words, and they departed for the magnitude of His glory.

اسمعوا الرؤوف الكثير الرحمة الذي يريد حياة جميع العالم قال: أتقدران أن تشربا الكأس التي أتيت لأجلها لكي أشربها، والصبغة التي أصطبغها؟ فقالا: نقدر أن نصنع هذا. فلعلكما حقاً تقدران. فأما الجلوس فليس لي أن أعطيه لكما، لكنه لأبي المالئ كل موضع، وهو الذي يعطيه لأصفيائه. فلما سمع الأخوان هذا سكتا ومضيا من أجل عظم مجده.

The priest and the congregation say

Christ our Savior, has come and has borne suffering, that through His passion, He may save us.

Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ: ⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲁϥϣⲉⲡⲙ̀ⲕⲁϩ: ϩⲓⲛⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥ ⲙ̀ⲕⲁⲩϩ: ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲥⲱϯ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ.

المسيح مخلصنا جاء وتألم عنا لكى بآلامه يخلصنا.

Let us glorify Him, and exalt His Name, for He has done us mercy, according to His great mercy.

Ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛϯⲱ̀ⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ: ⲧⲉⲛϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ: ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ: ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓ.

فلنمجده ونرفع إسمه لأنه صنع معنا رحمةً كعظيم رحمته.
