Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲁ̅ : ⲉ̅ - ⲓ̅ⲉ̅

يوئيل ١ : ٥ – ١٥

Awake, ye drunkards, from your wine, and weep: mourn, all ye that drink wine to drunkenness: for joy and gladness and removed are from your mouth. For a strong and innumerable nation is come up against my land, their teeth are lion’s teeth, and their back teeth those of a lion’s whelp. He has ruined my vine, and utterly broken my fig-trees: he has utterly searched my vine, and cast it down; he has peeled its branches.

Ⲁⲣⲓⲛⲩⲙⲫⲓⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲟⲁϧⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ Ⲁϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲏⲣⲡ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲣⲓϩⲏⲃⲓ ⲛⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲥⲱ ⲙⲡⲓⲏⲣⲡ ⲉⲩⲑⲁϧⲓ: ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲱⲗⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫⲣⲁϣⲓ Ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲓ ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲉϥϫⲟⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲏⲡⲓⲛⲉϥϣⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲛϣⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉϥⲛⲁϫϩⲓ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲁⲥ ⲙⲙⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲉ Ⲁⲩⲭⲱ ⲛⲧⲁⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲉⲡⲧⲁⲕⲟ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲁⲃⲱ ⲛⲕⲉⲛⲧⲉ ⲉⲩⲕⲱϣ: ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϧⲟⲧϧⲉⲧ ⲁⲩϧⲉⲧϧⲱⲧⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲃⲉⲣⲃⲱⲣⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲑⲣⲟⲩⲟⲩⲃⲁϣ ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲥⲕⲗⲏⲙⲁ

استيقظوا أيها السكارى من الخمر. وإبكوا ونوحوا يا جميع شاربي الخمر المسكر لأنه قد نزع عنكم السرور والفرح. إذ قد جاءت على الأرض أمة قوية بلا عدد أسنانها أسنان الأسد ولها أنياب الليوث. جعلت كرمتي للفساد وتينتي للإنحطام، وفتشتها تفتيشاً وطرحتها فابيضت قضبانها.

Lament to me more than a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth. The meat-offering and drink-offering are removed from the house of the Lord: mourn, ye priests that serve at the altar of the Lord. For the plains languish: let the land mourn, for the corn languishes; the wine is dried up, the oil becomes scarce; the husbandmen are consumed: mourn your property on account of the wheat and barley; for the harvest has perished from off the field. The vine is dried up, and the fig-trees are become few; the pomegranate, and palm-tree, and apple, and all trees of the field are dried up: for the sons of men have have abolished joy. Gird yourselves with sackcloth, and lament, ye priests: mourn, ye that serve at the altar: go in, sleep in sackcloths, ye that minister to God: for the meat-offering and drink-offering are withheld from the house of your God. Sanctify a fast, proclaim a solemn service, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of your God, and cry earnestly to the Lord, Alas, Alas, Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is nigh, and it will come as trouble upon trouble.

وسيحزن الكرامون على الأرض أكثر من العروسة المشدودة على رأسها. الحزينة على بعل بكوريتها. نوحوا أيها الكهنة ويا خدام المذبح لأنه قد رفعت الذبائح والسكيب من بيت الرب. تلفت البقاع وانفسدت. ولتحزن الأرض لأنه قد عدم القمح وجف الخمر وقل الزيت ويبس. احزنوا أيها الفلاحون في المساكن على القمح والشعير لأنه قد تلف القطاف في الحقل ويبست الكرمة. وذبلت شجرة التين. وشجرة الرمان مع النخلة. وشجرة التفاح وجميع شجر الغياض يبست لأجل أن بني البشر رذلوا الفرح. اتزروا بالمسوح ونوحوا أيها الكهنة. احزنوا يا خدام المذبح. ادخلوا بيتوا بالمسوح يا خدام الله. لأنه قد بطلت الذبيحة والسكيب من بيت الرب إلهكم. قدسوا صوماً واكرزوا بالخدمة. واجمعوا الشيوخ مع سكان الأرض. وادخلوا إلى بيت الرب إلهكم واصرخوا إلى الرب إلهكم جداً. وقولوا: ويل لي ويل لي ويل لي. لأن يوم الرب قد قرب. وهو يأتي كالدمار.

Glory be the Holy Trinity, our God, forever and ever. Amen.

أبانا الذي فى السموات، ليتقدس إسمك، ليأت ملكوتك. لتكن مشيئتك كما فى السماء كذلك على الأرض. خبزنا الذي للغد أعطنا اليوم واغفر لنا ذنوبنا كما نغفر نحن أيضاً للمذنبين إلينا. ولا تُدخلنا فى تجربة لكن نجنا من الشرير بالمسيح يسوع ربنا. لأن لك الملك والقوة والمجد إلى الأبد. آمين.

وكانوا في الطريق صاعدين إلى أورشليم. وكان يسوع يسير قدامهم وكانوا يتحيرون. والذين كانوا يتبعونه كانوا خائفين. فتقدم إليه أيضاً الاثنى عشر وابتدأ يقول لهم عما يحدث له: ها نحن صاعدون إلى أورشليم. وابن الإنسان سيسلم إلى رؤساء الكهنة والكتبة فيحكمون عليه بالموت ويسلمونه إلى الأمم. فيهزءون به ويتفلون عليه ويجلدونه ويقتلونه وفي اليوم الثالث يقوم.

And while Christ our Lord and His disciples were on their way to Jerusalem, the twelve apostles came to Him and He started to tell them about the sufferings that will come upon Him. He said "Behold you that are chosen and pure; we are going up to Jerusalem. The chief priests of the Jews, their elders and scribes, will rise together against the Son of man; and they shall condemn Him to death, and shall deliver Him to the Gentiles. And they shall mock Him, and shall scourge Him, and shall spit upon Him, and crucify Him on the cross; and on the third day He shall rise again." You poor Israel, how dare you do that in your ignorance and crucify Jesus Christ, who saved you from slavery. You rewarded charity with evil, that is why your sin will remain forever.

وفيما كان المسيح إلهنا وتلاميذه صاعدين إلى أورشليم، أتى إليه الاثنى عشر رسولاً تلاميذه القديسين، وأبتدأ يتكلم معهم بما سيكون له بسبب آلامه قائلاً: اعلموا أيها الأصفياء الأطهار، هوذا نحن صاعدون إلى أورشليم، وسوف يقوم رؤساء كهنة اليهود وشيوخهم وكتبتهم معاً على ابن الإنسان، ويحكمون عليه بحكم الموت ويسلمونه إلى الأمم، فيهزءون به ويبصقون فى وجهه، ويصلبونه على خشبة الصليب ويقوم فى اليوم الثالث. كيف تجاسرت يا إسرائيل المسكين وفعلت هذا الأمر بجهلك؟ وصلبت يسوع المسيح الذى أنقذك من العبودية! وجازيت الإحسان بالإساءة؟! من أجل ذلك خطيتك باقية إلى كمال الدهور.
