Ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ Ⲁⲙⲱⲥ ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ: ⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲡⲉϥⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ ⲁ̀ⲙⲏⲛ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.

من عاموس النبي، بركته المقدسة تكون معنا. آمين.

Amos 3:1-11

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲅ̅: ⲁ̅ -ⲓ̅ⲁ̅

عاموس ٣ : ١-١١

Hear ye this word, O house of Israel, which the Lord has spoken concerning you, and against the whole family whom I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying, You especially have I known out of all the families of the earth: therefore will I take vengeance upon you for all your sins. Shall two walk together at all, if they do not know one another? Will a lion roar out of his thicket if he has no prey? will a lion’s whelp utter his voice at all out of his lair, if he have taken nothing? Will a bird fall on the earth without a fowler? will a snare be taken up from the earth without having taken anything? Shall the trumpet sound in the city, and the people not be alarmed? shall there be evil in a city which the Lord has not wrought? For the Lord God will do nothing, without revealing instruction to his servants the prophets. A lion shall roar, and who will not be alarmed? the Lord God has spoken, and who will not prophesy? Proclaim it to the regions among the Assyrians, and to the regions of Egypt, and say, Gather yourselves to the mountain of Samaria, and behold many wonderful things in the midst of it, and the oppression that is in it. And she knew not what things would come against her, saith the Lord, even those that store up wrong and misery in their countries. Therefore thus saith the Lord God; O Tyre, thy land shall be made desolate round about thee; and he shall bring down thy strength out of thee, and thy countries shall be spoiled.

أسمعوا هذا القول الذى تكلمت به عليكم يا بيت إسرائيل وعلى كل القبائل التى أخرجتها من أرض مصر قائلاً : إياكم عرفت من بين جميع قبائل الأرض، فلذلك أنتقم منكم عن جميع خطاياكم. أيسير اثنان معاً ولا يعرف بعضهما البعض قط ؟ أيزمجر الأسد فى الغابة وليس له فريسة ؟ أيطلق الشبل صوته من عرينه قط، إلا إذا خطف شيئا ؟ أيسقط طير على الأرض من غير قانص ؟ أيكون فخ على الأرض من غير أن يصيد شيئاً ؟ أيصوت بوق فى مدينة ولا يهلع الشعب ؟ هل تحدث بلية فى مدينة والرب لم يصنعها ؟ إن الرب الإله لا يصنع أمراً إلا ويعلن تأديبه لعبيده الأنبياء، أسد قد زمجر فمن لا يخاف، الرب الإله تكلم فمن لا يتنبأ؟ أخبروا كور الآشوريين وكور مصر وقولوا : اجتمعوا على جبل السامرة و أنظروا الغرائب الكثيرة التى فى وسطها، والجور الذى فى داخلها، ولم تعلم ما يكون أمامها يقول الرب. بما أنهم يكنزون ظلماً وشقاء فى كورهم، فلذلك هذا ما يقوله الرب الإله لصور : إن أرضك التى حولك تخرب وقوتك تسقط منك.

Glory be the Holy Trinity, our God, forever and ever. Amen.

أبانا الذي فى السموات، ليتقدس إسمك، ليأت ملكوتك. لتكن مشيئتك كما فى السماء كذلك على الأرض. خبزنا الذي للغد أعطنا اليوم واغفر لنا ذنوبنا كما نغفر نحن أيضاً للمذنبين إلينا. ولا تُدخلنا فى تجربة لكن نجنا من الشرير بالمسيح يسوع ربنا. لأن لك الملك والقوة والمجد إلى الأبد. آمين.

Rescue me, O Lord, from the evil man; deliver me from the unjust man. Who have devised injustice in their hearts; all the day they prepared war. Alleluia.

نجنى يارب من إنسان شرير ومن رجل ظالم أنقذنى. الذين تفكروا بالظلم فى قلبهم النهار كله كانوا يستعدون للقتال : الليلويا.

من أجل أن نكون مستحقين لسماع الإنجيل المقدس. إلى ربنا وإلهنا نتوسل بحكمة مستقيمين إنصتوا للإنجيل المقدس.

O Lord, have compassion and mercy upon us, and make us worthy to listen to Thine Holy Gospel. A chapter from the Gospel according to Saint John the evangelist, may his blessings be with us. Amen.

John 12:36-43

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ : ⲗ̅-̅ⲙ̅ⲅ̅

يوحنا ١٢ : ٣٦ – ٤٣

While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

قال يسوع هذا ثم مضى وتوارى عنهم، ومع هذه الآيات الكثيرة التى صنعها أمامهم لم يؤمنوا به، ليتم كلام إشعياء النبى الذى قاله : يارب من صدق خبرنا. ولمن أعلنت ذراع الرب. ومن أجل هذا لم يكونوا ليقدروا أن يؤمنوا لأن إشعياء قال أيضاً : قد طمس عيونهم وقفل قلوبهم لئلا يبصروا بعيونهم ويفهموا بقلوبهم ويرجعوا إلى فأشفيهم. قال إشعياء هذا لأنه رأى مجد الله وتكلم عنه، ومع ذلك فإن كثيراً من الرؤساء أيضاً آمنوا به، ولكنهم لسبب الفريسيين لم يعترفوا به لئلا يصيروا خارج المجمع لأنهم أحبوا مجد الناس أكثر من مجد الله والمجد لله دائماً

طرح الساعة السادسة من ليلة خميس العهد من البصخة المقدسة، بركاتها علينا. آمين.

Reader

Isaiah the prophet – by the spirit – castigates the sons of Israel for their foolishness and rebukes them outright because of the vileness of their deeds and their sins. They rejected the miracles that Emmanuel made, rejected his words full of grace and leaned towards myths, vagaries and rejected the glory of His divinity. O great prophet (Isaiah) chastise these disobedient children and fruitless trees for they have emulated their fathers and followed on their heels: O Lord who believes our word? And your arm, O Lord, to whom announced? The voice of the Lord is his only begotten Son who appeared in the flesh to the sons of Israel. He showed in them His mercy and His justice and nevertheless they did not obey Him and did not believe in him. How could they believe: Isaiah prophesized about them and said: I blind their eyes, harden their hearts, deafen their ears and their brains altogether. Listen O Israel; no one else will save you from God’s wrath but Jesus the Savior of the world, He who made the two into one by his incarnation. The light has come to His own and His own loved the darkness and the gentiles accepted his commandments and became His nation everywhere. They experienced His mercy and His immeasurable grace that He bestowed on them.

إشعياء النبى يصرخ بالروح نحو الشعب الجاهل بنى إسرائيل، يبكتهم بغير محاباة من أجل دنس أعمالهم وآثامهم. لما ظهر عمانوئيل وصنع أعمالاً تبهر العقول، فتعدوا أقواله المملوءة نعمة ومالوا إلى الخرافات والأعمال الباطلة، وجحدوا مجد لاهوته، أعنى الأبناء المرذولين والزرع الغير مثمر، بكت رأيهم أيها النبى العظيم، لأنهم تشبهوا بآبائهم وكملوا مكاييلهم فقال : ياربمن صدق خبرنا ؟ وذراعك يارب لمن أعلنت ؟ إن صوت الرب هو إبنه الوحيد الذى تراءى بالجسد لبنى إسرائيل وعدله ورحمته أظهرهما فيهم، ومع هذا لم يطيعوا ولم يؤمنوا به. كيف يؤمنون وإشعياء سبق فنطق من أجلهم هكذا قائلاً : إنه أطمس عيونهم وبلد قلوبهم وثقل آذانهم وأفهامهم. أسمع يا إسرائيل، ليس آخر يقوم يخلص شعبك من قبله إلا يسوع مخلص العالم الذى جعل الاثنين واحداً بتجسده. جاء النور إلى خاصته وخاصته لم تقبله، بل أحبوا الظلمة والشعوب الغربية قبلت وصاياه وصارت له شعباً مجتمعاً فى كل مكان، وعرفوا رحمته وغزير نعمته التى أفاضها عليهم كصلاحه.

المسيح مخلصنا جاء وتألم عنا لكى بآلامه يخلصنا.

Let us glorify Him, and exalt His Name, for He has done us mercy, according to His great mercy.

فلنمجده ونرفع إسمه لأنه صنع معنا رحمةً كعظيم رحمته.
