Ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ Ⲁⲙⲱⲥ ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ: ⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲡⲉϥⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ ⲁ̀ⲙⲏⲛ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.

Amos 5:6-14

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲉ̅: -̅ⲓ̅ⲇ̅

عاموس ٥ : ٦ – ١٤

Seek ye the Lord, and ye shall live; lest the house of Joseph blaze as fire, and it devour him, and there shall be none to quench it for the house of Israel. It is he that executes judgment in the height above, and he has established justice on the earth: who makes all things, and changes them, and turns darkness into the morning, and darkens the day into night: who calls for the water of the sea, and pours it out on the face of the earth: the Lord is his name: who dispenses ruin to strength, and brings distress upon the fortress. They hated him that reproved in the gates, and abhorred holy speech. Therefore because they have smitten the poor with their fists, and ye have received of them choice gifts; ye have built polished houses, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted desirable vineyards, but ye shall not drink the wine of them. For I know your many transgressions, and your sins are great, trampling on the just, taking bribes, and turning aside the judgment of the poor in the gates. Therefore the prudent shall be silent at that time; for it is a time of evils. Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live.

أطلبوا الرب فتحيوا. لئلا يتقد بيت يوسف كنار فيحترق وليس من يطفئ من بيت إسرائيل. الرب يصنع حكماً فى العلى. ووضع العدل على الأرض. هو الذى خلق كل الأشياء وينقلها الذى يحول الظل صباحاً ويغشى النهار بالليل. الذى يدعو مياه البحر فيفيضها على وجه الرض كلها الرب الاله الضابط الكل هو أسمه. المنزل الأنحطام على القوة ويأتى بالدمار على الموضع الحصين. لقد أبغضوا الموبخ فى الأبواب ونجسوا الكلام الطاهر. من أجل ذلك هذا ما يقول الرب. بما أنكم ضربتم المساكين على رؤسهم. أخذتم منهم هدايا فاخرة. شيدتم بيوتا حسنة ولا تسكنون فيها. وغرستم كروما مختارة ولا تشربون من خمرها. فأنى عالم بنفاقكم الكثير وخطاياكم المتجددة. تدوسون البار وتأخذون الرشوة وتصدون البائسين من الأبواب. لذلك يسكت العاقل فى ذلك الزمان لأنه زمان ردئ. فاطلبوا الخير لا الشر لتحيوا.

من أجل أن نكون مستحقين لسماع الإنجيل المقدس. إلى ربنا وإلهنا نتوسل بحكمة مستقيمين إنصتوا للإنجيل المقدس.

O Lord, have compassion and mercy upon us, and make us worthy to listen to Thine Holy Gospel. A chapter from the Gospel according to Saint Mark the evangelist, may his blessings be with us. Amen.

Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ : ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ϣ̅ⲃ̅ⲗ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲕⲉⲫ ⲓ̅ⲇ̅: ⲁ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲃ̅

مرقس ١٣ : ٣٢ -٣٧، ١٤ : ١، ٢

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death. But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people.

فأما ذلك اليوم وتلك الساعة فلا يعلمهما أحد ولا الملائكة الذين فى السماء ولا الأبن الا الأب. أنظروا وأسهروا وصلوا لأنكم لا تعلمون متى يكون الزمان. كمثل أنسان مسافر فترك بيته وأعطى عبيده السلطان كل واحد فى عمله وأوصى البواب بالسهر.فأسهروا إذا لأنكم لا تعلمون متى يأتى رب البيت. أفى المساء. أم فى نصف الليل. أم عند صياح الديك. أم فى الصباح. لئلا يأتى بغته فيجدكم نياماً. وما أقوله لكم أقوله للجميع أسهروا. وكان الفصح والفطير بعد يومين وكان رؤساء الكهنة والكتبة يطلبون كيف يمسكونه بمكر ليقتلوه ولكنهم قالوا لا نفعل هذا فى العيد لئلا يكون شغب فى الشعب.

طرح الساعة الحادية عشر من ليلة الثلاثاء من البصخة المقدسة، بركاتها علينا. آمين.

When the time comes, do not be asleep when He makes His surprise visit. Be alert and guard yourselves from getting caught in the hidden traps. You alone, the Omniscient God, has the knowledge of everything before it’s being: the epochs, the years, the times, and the past generation. Listen to our Savior – who with His divine mouth – proclaims: “But of that day and that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father knows it.” Keep awake at all times because you do not know when it shall be. Lest he makes a surprise visit and finds you asleep. Be careful and safeguard against hidden traps.

أنت وحدك آيها المدبر العالم بسائر الأشياء قبل كون جميعها، والأزمنة والسنين وكل الأوقات والأجيال الماضية أنت العالم بها. أسمعوا مخلصنا يقول علانية بفمه الإلهى هكذا قائلاً : من أجل ذلك اليوم وتلك الساعة التى يأتى فيها أبن الأنسان. أنه ليس أحد من سائر البشر ولا الملائكة يعلمهما والأبن أيضاً لا يعلمهما الآب فقط العارف بكل شئ. فأسهروا كل حين وصلوا فأنكم لستم تعلمون متى يكون الوقت. لئلا يأتى بغته فيجدكم نياماً. فاحترزوا وأحفظوا ذواتكم لكى تخلصوا من الفخاخ المنصوبة.

Christ our Savior, has come and has borne suffering, that through His passion, He may save us.
