O Master, Lord, God the Pantocrator, Healer of our souls, our bodies, and spirits.

Ⲫ̀ⲛⲏⲃ Ⲡ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲫϯ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲛⲧⲟⲕⲣⲁⲧⲱⲣ: ⲡⲓⲡⲉϥⲧⲁⲗϭⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲛⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲛⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ.

أيها السيد الرب الإله ضابط الكل شافى نفوسنا وأجسادنا وأرواحنا.

Thou art he who said unto our father Peter through the mouth of Thine only-begotten son Jesus Christ:

Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕϫⲟⲥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ Ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ: ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲱϥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲙⲟⲛⲟⲅⲉⲛⲏⲥ ⲛ̀Ϣⲏⲣⲓ: Ⲡⲉⲛⲟ̅ⲥ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ Ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ Ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ Ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ.

أنت الذى قلت لأبينا بطرس من فم ابنك الوحيد ربنا وإلهنا ومخلصنا يسوع المسيح.

“You are Peter, upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ Ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲕⲱⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲉⲕⲕ̀ⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ̀ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲁⲓⲡⲉⲧⲣⲁ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲡⲩⲗⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲁ̀ⲙⲉⲛϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩϣ̀ϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ.

أنت هو بطرس وعلى هذه الصخرة أبنى كنيستي، وأبواب الجحيم لن تقوى عليها.

And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of the heavens.

Ⲉⲓⲉ̀ϯ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓϣⲟϣⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲑ̀ⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀.

وأعطيك مفاتيح ملكوت السموات.

That which you will bind upon the earth shall be bound in the heavens, and that which you will loose upon the earth shall be loosed in the heavens.”

Ⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲛⲁⲥⲟⲛϩⲟⲩ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲉⲯⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲥⲱⲛϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲛⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲃⲏⲗ ϣⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀.

وما ربطته على الأرض يكون مربوطاً فى السماء، وما حللته على الأرض يكون محلولاً فى السموات.

Therefore, O Lord, let Thy servants, my fathers, my brethren and my own weakness, be absolved by my mouth, through Thine Holy Spirit, O Thou, Good and Lover of mankind.

Ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲫ̀ⲛⲏⲃ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲕⲉ̀ⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ: ⲛⲁⲓⲟϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲁⲥ̀ⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲁⲙⲉⲧϫⲱⲃ ⲉⲩⲃⲏⲗ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲱⲓ: ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ Ⲡⲉⲕⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ: ⲡⲓⲁ̀ⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.

فليكن يا سيدنا عبيدك آبائى وأخوتى وحقارتى محاللين من فمى بروحك القدوس، أيها الصالح محب البشر.

O God, who takes away the sin of the world, hasten, to accept the repentance of Thy servants for a light of understanding and forgiveness of sins.

Ⲫϯ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲱ̀ⲗⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ: ⲁ̀ⲣⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛ̀ϭⲓ ⲛ̀ⲑ̀ⲙⲉⲧⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲓⲁ̀ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲕⲉ̀ⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ: ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡ̀ⲉ̀ⲙⲓ: ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲭⲱ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲛⲟⲃⲓ.

اللهم يا حامل خطية العالم ابدأ بقبول توبة عبيدك منهم نوراً للمعرفة وغفراناً للخطايا.

For Thou art a compassionate and merciful God; Thou art patient; Thy mercy is great and true.

Ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉϥϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲏⲧ: ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲣⲉϥⲱ̀ⲟⲩⲛ̀ϩⲏⲧ: ⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲑ̀ⲙⲏⲓ.

لأنك أنت إله رؤوف رحوم. أنت طويل الأناة كثير الرحمة وبار.

If we have sinned against Thee either by word or by deeds, pardon and forgive us, as a Good and Lover of mankind.

Ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲛⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲕ ⲓ̀ⲧⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ: ⲓ̀ⲧⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓϩ̀ⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲁ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲩⲛⲭⲱⲣⲓⲛ ⲭⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ: ϩⲱⲥ ⲁ̀ⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.

وإن كنا قد أخطأنا إليك بالقول أو بالفعل فسامح واغفر لنا كصالح ومحب البشر.

O God, absolve us and all Thy people from every sin.

Ⲫϯ ⲁ̀ⲣⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉⲙϩⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉⲕⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉⲙϩⲉ.

اللهم حاللنا وحالل شعبك.

The priest mentions the names of those he wishes to remember and continues

From every curse, from every denial, from every false oath, and from every encounter with the heretics and the heathens.

من كل خطية، ومن كل لعنة، ومن كل جحود، ومن كل يمين كاذب، من كل ملاقاة الهراطقة الوثنيين.

O our Lord, grant us a reason, power and understanding to flee from any evil deed of the adversary, and grant us to do what is pleasing unto Thee at all times.

أنعم علينا يا سيدنا بعقل وقوة وفهم لنهرب إلى التمام من كل أمر ردئ وامنحنا أن نصنع مرضاتك كل حين.

Inscribe our names with all the choir of Thy saints in the kingdom of the heavens, in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Ⲥ̀ϧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲣⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡ̀ⲭⲟⲣⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲕ: ⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑ̀ⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀: ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ Ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ Ⲡⲉⲛⲟ̅ⲥ̅.

أكتب أسماءنا مع كل صفوف قديسيك فى ملكوت السموات بالمسيح يسوع ربنا.

Through Whom the glory, the honour, the dominion, and the worship are due unto Thee, with Him, and the Holy Spirit, the Life-Giver, Who is of One Essence with Thee.

هذا الذى من قبله المجد والكرامة والعز والسجود تليق بك معه ومع الروح القدس المحيى المساوى لك.

الآن وكل أوان وإلى دهر الدهور آمين.

The priest may say the commemoration in the Liturgy of St. Gregory on page 202 until the phrase “… repose them” on page 204. Then the priest continues

Remember, O Lord, my own weakness and forgive my many sins, and where transgression has abounded, let Thy grace be multiplied in abundance. Because of my own sins and the abomination of my heart, deprive not Thy people of the grace of Thine Holy Spirit.

أذكر يارب ضعفى أنا أيضاً واغفر لى خطاياى الكثيرة وحيث كثر الإثم فلتكثر هناك نعمتك. ومن أجل خطاياى خاصة ونجاسات قلبى لا تمنع شعبك من نعمة روحك القدوس.

Then the priest continues the absolution and says

Absolve us and absolve all Thy people.

Ⲁ̀ⲣⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉⲙϩⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉⲕⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉⲙϩⲉ.

The priest says the two short prayers of the peace and the fathers inaudibly. Then he continues with the prayer of the congregation and says

Remember, O Lord, our congregations; bless them.

Ⲁⲣⲓⲫ̀ⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ Ⲡ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲛϫⲓⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ: ⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ.

أذكر يارب اجتماعتنا باركها.

The deacon holds the cross and says

Saved, Amen. And with Thy spirit. In the fear of God, let us attend.

Ⲥⲱⲑⲓⲥ ⲁ̀ⲙⲏⲛ: Ⲕⲉ ⲧⲱ ⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲧⲓ ⲥⲟⲩ: Ⲙⲉⲧⲁ ⲫⲟⲃⲟⲩ Ⲑⲉⲟⲩ ⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲥⲭⲱⲙⲉⲛ.

خلصت حقاً. ومع روحك. ننصت بخوف الله.

The priest raises the bodikin high up and says

The holies are for the holy.

The congregation bows down to the ground in fear and trembling asking for the forgiveness of the Lord. The priest takes the bodikin with the tip of his fingers and signs the cross on the blood in the chalice. Then he slightly dips the bodikin into the blood and raises it. Then he signs the sign of the cross on the entire body with the bodikin. Then he takes the bodikin back near the chalice and signs the sign of the cross on top of the blood. Finally, he slowly immerses the bodikin into the blood face down and leaves it in the chalice. The priest make all this while his left hand is held under the bodikin to catch any drop of the precious blood falling from it. Meanwhile, the priest says

Blessed be the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God, the sanctification of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Ⲉⲩⲗⲟⲅⲏⲧⲟⲥ Ⲕⲩⲣⲓⲟⲥ Ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ Ⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲩ̀ⲓⲟⲥ Ⲑⲉⲟⲩ ⲁ̀ⲅⲓⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ Ⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲁ̀ⲅⲓⲟⲛ: ⲁ̀ⲙⲏⲛ.

The congregation stands up and says

One is the All-Holy Father. One is the All-Holy Son. One is the All-Holy Spirit. Amen.

The priest covers the body with a corporal and says

Peace be with all.

The priest takes the middle separated one third of the body, from which the bodikin was separated, and cuts it into three pieces. If the three pieces are large, he cuts three small pieces from any of them. He puts the three little pieces of the body in his left hand and covers them with his right hand while they are on top of the paten. Then he says

Holy body and precious and true blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of our God. Amen.
