مستحق بالحقيقة وعادل. أن نسبحك. ونباركك ونخدمك ونسجد لك ونمجدك أيها الواحد وحده الحقيقى. الله محب البشر الذى لا يُنطق به. غير المرئى. غير المحوى. غير المبتدئ. الأبدى. غير الزمنى. الذى لا يحد. غير المفحوص. غير المستحيل. خالق الكل مخلص الجميع.

Who forgives our sins, redeems our life from corruption, and crowns us with mercies and compassions.

أنت الذى السلاطين تنطق بمجدك.

Thou art He unto Whom the thrones send up the honor.

Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲑ̀ⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲧⲁⲓⲟ̀.

أنت الذى الكراسى ترسل لك الكرامة.

Thousands of thousands stand before Thee, and ten thousand times ten thousand offer Thee service.

Thou art He Whom the invisible bless.

أنت الذى يباركك غير المرئيين.

And Thou art He Whom the visible worship.

أيها الجلوس قفوا.

O Thou Who exists, the Master Lord, the true God of the true God.

أيها الكائن السيد الرب الإله الحق من الإله الحق.

Who revealed to us the light of the Father.

الذى أظهر لنا نور الآب.

Who granted us the true knowledge of the Holy Spirit.

Ⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲉⲣϩ̀ⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉ̀ⲙⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ.

الذى أنعم علينا بمعرفة الروح القدس الحقيقية.

Who revealed to us this great mystery of life.

Ⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲙ̀ⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡ̀ⲱⲛϧ.

الذى أظهر لنا هذا السر العظيم الذى للحياة.

Who established the rising of the choirs of the incorporeal among men.

Ⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲟ̀ϩⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡ̀ⲭⲟⲣⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁ̀ⲥⲱⲙⲁⲧⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.

الذى ثبت قيام صفوف غير المتجسدين فى البشر.

Who gave those on earth the praising of the Seraphim.

Ⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉⲧ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϩⲱⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲛⲓⲥⲉⲣⲁⲫⲓⲙ.

الذى أعطى الذى على الأرض تسبيح السارافيم.

Receive from us also our voices, together with the invisible.

Ϭⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲥ̀ⲙⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲁⲑⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ.

إقبل منا نحن أيضاً أصواتنا مع غير الرئيين.

Count us with the heavenly hosts.

Ⲟⲡⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲇⲩⲛⲁⲙⲓⲥ ⲉⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀.

إحسبنا مع القوات السمائية.

Let us also say with those, having cast away from us all the thoughts of the evil imagination.

And proclaim that which they send with incessant voices and unfailing lips, and praise Thy greatness.

أنت هو القيام حولك الشاروبيم والسارافيم. وستة أجنحة للواحد وستة أجنحة للآخر.

With two they cover their faces, and with two they cover their feet, and with two they fly. And one cry unto another.

فبجناحين يغطون وجوههم. وبإثنين يغطون أرجلهم. ويطيرون بإثنين. ويصرخون واحد قابلة واحد منهم.

They utter the hymn of victory and redemption, which pertains to us, with a voice full of glory.

يرسلون تسبحة الغلبة والخلاص الذى لنا بصوت ممتلئ مجداً.

They praise and sing. They proclaim and declare saying.

The congregation responds with the Aspasmos Watos according to the occasion. For annual days, the congregation may respond with the long Aspasmos Watos from the Liturgy of St. Basil on page 119, and then continues with the short Aspasmos and says

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord of Hosts. Heaven and earth are full of Thine holy glory.

The priest puts down the corporal in his left hand on the altar, and moves the one in his right hand to the left hand. Then, he holds the corporal covering the chalice in his right hand. The priest signs three times with his right hand. In the first time, he signs himself. In the second time, he signs the clergy. In the third time, he signs the congregation while towards the west. In every time, he says

Holy.

Ⲁ̀ⲅⲓⲟⲥ.

قدوس.

If another priest is present, he proceeds once around the altar with the censer. Then the priest covers the chalice and says

Holy, Holy, art Thou, O Lord, and Holy art Thou in everything, and most elect is the light of Thine Essence.

Ⲭ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲭ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲃ Ⲡ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲭ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ: ⲛ̀ϩⲟⲩⲟ̀ ⲇⲉ ϥ̀ⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲫ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲕⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ̀.

قدوس قدوس أنت أيها الرب وقدوس فى كل شئ. وبالأكثر مختار هو نور جوهريتك.

Unutterable is the power of Thy wisdom, and no manner of speech can measure the depth of Thy love toward mankind.

Ⲟⲩⲁⲧϣ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲧⲉ ⲧ̀ϫⲟⲙ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲕⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ̀: ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ϩ̀ⲗⲓ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲁϣ̀ϯϣⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲡⲉⲗⲁⲅⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲉⲧⲙⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.

وغير موصوفة هى قوة حكمتك. وليس شئ من النطق يستطيع أن يحد لجة محبتك للبشر.

Thou, as Lover of mankind, hast created me a man. Thou hast no need of my servitude, but rather, I need Thy Lordship.

Ⲁⲕⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϩⲱⲥ ⲙⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ: ⲛⲁⲕⲉⲣⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲁ̀ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲙⲉⲧⲃⲱⲕ: ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲓⲉⲣⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲁ̀ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲉⲧⲟ̅ⲥ̅.

خلقتنى إنساناً كمحب البشر ولم تكن أنت محتاجا إلى عبوديتى بل أنا المحتاج إلى ربوبيتك.

Because of the multitude of Thy tender mercies, Thou broughtest me into being whence I was not.

Ⲉ̀ⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲉⲕⲙⲉⲧϣⲁⲛⲑ̀ⲙⲁϧⲧ ⲉⲧⲟϣ ⲁⲕⲑ̀ⲣⲓϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲓϣⲟⲡ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ.

من أجل تعطفاتك الجزيلة كونتنى إذلم أكن.

Thou hast raised heaven as a roof for me.

Ⲁⲕⲧⲁϩⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧⲥ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲟⲓ.

أقمت السماء لى سقفاً.

Established the earth for me to walk on.

Ⲁⲕⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉⲑⲣⲓⲙⲟϣⲓ ϩⲓϫⲱϥ.

ثبتّ لى الأرض لأمشى عليها.

For my sake, Thou hast bridled the sea.

Ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧ ⲁⲕⲙⲁϣⲑⲁⲙ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲓⲟⲙ.

من أجلى الجمت البحر.

For my sake, Thou hast manifested the nature of animals.

Ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧ ⲁⲕⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲧ̀ⲫⲩⲥⲓⲥ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲍⲱⲟⲛ.

من أجلى أظهرت طبيعة الحيوان.

Thou hast subjected all things under my feet.

Ⲁⲕⲑⲃⲓⲟ̀ ⲛ̀ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲥⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ.

أخضعت كل شئ تحت قدمى.

Thou hast not left me in need of anything of the works of Thine honor.

Ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲭⲁⲧ ⲉⲓϣⲁⲧ ⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲗⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓϩ̀ⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲧⲁⲓⲟ̀.

لم تدعنى معوزاً شيئاً من أعمال كرامتك.

Thou art He who formed me.

ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲉⲣⲡ̀ⲗⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ.

أنت الذى جبلتنى.

And laid Thine hand upon me.

Ⲁⲕⲭⲱ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲓ.

ووضعت يدك علىّ.

And inscribed in me the image of Thine authority.

Ⲁⲕⲥ̀ϧⲁⲓ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ϯϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲕⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ̀.

وكتبت فىّ صورة سلطانك.

Thou hast placed in me the gift of speech.

Ⲁⲕⲭⲱ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ.

ووضعت فىّ موهبة النطق.

And opened unto me the Paradise to enjoy.

Ⲁⲕⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ.

وفتحت لى الفردوس لأتنعم.

And hast committed to me the percepts of Thy knowledge.

Ⲁⲕϯ ⲉ̀ⲧⲟⲧ ⲛ̀ϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϯⲥ̀ⲃⲱ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲉ̀ⲙⲓ.

وأعطيتنى علم معرفتك.

Thou hast manifested to me the tree of life.

Ⲁⲕⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓϣ̀ϣⲏⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡ̀ⲱⲛϧ.

أظهرت لى شجرة الحياة.

And made known unto me the sting of death.

Ⲁⲕⲧⲁⲙⲟⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧ̀ⲥⲟⲩⲣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲙⲟⲩ.

وعرفتنى شوكة الموت.

One plant hast Thou forbidden me to eat of.

Ⲟⲩⲧⲱϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕϣⲁϣⲧ ⲉ̀ϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧϥ.

غرس واحد نهيتنى أن آكل منه.

That which Thou hast said unto me, “Do not eat of it only.”

Ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧϥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ.

هذا الذى قلت لى لا تأكل منه وحده.

I did eat, according to my will.

Ⲁⲓⲟⲩⲱⲙ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲟⲩⲱϣ.

فأكلت بإرادتى.

I put away from me Thy law out of my counsel.

Ⲁⲓⲭⲱ ⲛ̀ⲥⲱⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲁⲅ̀ⲛⲱⲙⲏ.

وتركتُ عنى ناموسك برأيى.

And neglected Thy commandments.

Ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲁ̀ⲙⲉⲗⲏⲥ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉⲕⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ.

وتكاسلت عن وصاياك.

I plucked for myself the sentence of death.

Ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓϩⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲁ̀ⲡⲟⲫⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲫ̀ⲙⲟⲩ.

أنا إختطفت لى قضية الموت.

Lord have mercy.

Ⲕⲩⲣⲓⲉ̀ ⲉ̀ⲗⲉⲏ̀ⲥⲟⲛ.

يا رب ارحم.

Priest

Thou, O my Master, hast turned the punishment to salvation for me.

Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲁⲛⲏⲃ ⲁⲕⲫⲱⲛϩ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲧⲓⲙⲱⲣⲓⲁ̀ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ.

أنت يا سيدى حولت لى العقوبة خلاصاً.

As a good Shepherd, Thou hast sought after that which had gone astray.

Ϩⲱⲥ ⲙⲁⲛⲉ̀ⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ ⲁⲕϭⲟϫⲓ ⲉ̀ⲕⲱϯ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁ ⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ.

كراع صالح سعيت فى طلب الضال.

As a true father, Thou hast laboured with me, I who had fallen.

Ϩⲱⲥ ⲓⲱⲧ ⲙ̀ⲙⲏⲓ ⲁⲕϣⲉⲡϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ϧⲁ ⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥϩⲉⲓ.

كأب حقيقى تعبت معى أنا الذى سقط.

Thou hast bound me unto all the remedies that lead unto life.

Ⲁⲕⲙⲟⲣⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲁϧⲣⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧϭⲓ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ⲱⲛϧ.

ربطتنى بكل الأدوية المؤدية إلى الحياة.

Thou art He Who hast sent unto me the prophets, for my sake, I the sick.

Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ϧⲁ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϣⲱⲛⲓ.

أنت الذى أرسلت لى الأنبياء من أجلى أنا المريض.

Thou hast given me the Law as a help.

Ⲁⲕϯ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲃⲟⲏ̀ⲑⲓⲁ̀.

أعطيتنى الناموس عوناً.

Thou art He Who ministered unto me the salvation: when I disobeyed Thy Law.

Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲉⲣⲇⲓⲁ̀ⲕⲟⲛⲓⲛ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ: ⲉ̀ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲉⲛⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ.

أنت الذى خدمت لى الخلاص لما خالفت ناموسك.

As a true Light, Thou hast shone upon the ignorant and them that are out of the way.

Ϩⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲏⲓ: ⲁⲕϣⲁⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉⲧ ⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲁⲧⲉ̀ⲙⲓ.

كنور حقيقى أشرقت للضالين وغير العارفين.

يا رب ارحم.

Thou, Who art at all times, hast come unto us on earth. Thou hast come into the womb of the Virgin.

Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⲛ̀ⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ: ⲁⲕⲓ̀ ⲛⲁⲛ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ: ⲁⲕⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲑ̀ⲙⲏⲧⲣⲁ ⲛ̀ϯⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ.

أنت الكائن فى كل زمان أتيت إلينا على الأرض. أتيت إلى بطن العذراء.

Thou, the infinite, being God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.

Ⲡⲓⲁⲧϣⲟⲡϥ ⲉⲕⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ: ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ: ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲕϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ϩⲩⲥⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲫϯ.

أيها الغير المحوى إذ أنت الإله لم تضمر إختطافاً أن تكون مساوياً لله.

But humbled Thyself.

Ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲕϣⲟⲩⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ⲙⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲕ.

لكن وضعت ذاتك.

And took the form of a servant.

Ⲁⲕϭⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲙⲟⲣⲫⲏ ⲙ̀ⲃⲱⲕ.

وأخذت شكل العبد.

And blessed my nature in Thee.

Ⲁⲕⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲫⲩⲥⲓⲥ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲕ.

وباركت طبيعتى فيك.

And fulfilled Thy Law on my behalf.

Ⲁⲕϫⲉⲕ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲓ.

وأكملت ناموسك عنى.

Thou hast shown me the rising up from my fall.

Ⲁⲕⲧⲁⲙⲟⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϫⲓⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲁϩⲉⲓ.

وأريتنى القيام من سقطتى.

Thou hast given release unto those who were bound in Hades.

Ⲁⲕϯ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲭⲱ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲟⲩⲁ̀ⲙⲁϩⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲁ̀ⲙⲉⲛϯ.

أعطيت إطلاقاً لمن قبض عليهم فى الجحيم.

Thou hast lifted the curse of the Law.

Ⲁⲕϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲥⲁϩⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ.

أزلت لعنة الناموس.

Thou hast abolished sin in the flesh.

Ⲁⲕⲕⲱⲣϥ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲃⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲥⲁⲣⲝ.

أبطلت الخطية بالجسد.

Thou shown unto me the power of Thine authority.

Ⲁⲕⲧⲁⲙⲟⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧ̀ϫⲟⲙ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲕⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ̀.

أريتنى قوة سلطانك.

Thou hast given sight unto the blind.

Ⲁⲕϯ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲁⲩ ⲙ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉⲩ.

وهبت النظر للعميان.

Thou hast raised the dead from the graves.

Ⲁⲕⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ̀ϩⲁⲩ.

أقمت الموتى من القبور.

Thou hast established nature by the word.

Ⲁⲕⲧⲁϩⲟ ⲛ̀ϯⲫⲩⲥⲓⲥ ⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ.

أقمت الطبيعة بالكلمة.

Thou hast manifested unto me the economy of Thy tender mercy.

Ⲁⲕⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϯⲟⲓⲕⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ̀ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲉⲧϣⲁⲛⲑ̀ⲙⲁϧⲧ.

أظهرت لى تدبير تعطفك.

Thou hast borne the oppression of the wicked.

Ⲁⲕϥⲁⲓ ϧⲁ ⲡ̀ϭⲓⲛ̀ϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲡⲟⲛⲏⲣⲟⲥ.

إحتملت ظلم الأشرار.

Thou hast given Thy back to the scourge.

Ⲁⲕϯ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲕϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲉ̀ϩⲁⲛⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲅⲟⲥ.

بذلت ظهرك للسياط.

And Thy cheeks Thou hast left out to those who smite.

Ⲛⲉⲕⲟⲩⲟ̀ϫⲓ ⲁⲕⲭⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ϩⲁⲛϣⲉⲛⲕⲟⲩⲣ.

وخديك أهملتهما للّطم.

For my sake, O my Master, Thou hast not hidden Thy face from the shame of spitting.

Ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧ ⲡⲁⲛⲏⲃ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕϩⲟ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϩⲁ ⲡ̀ϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲑⲁϥ.

لأجلى يا سيدى لم ترد وجهك عن خزى البصاق.

Ⲕⲩⲣⲓⲉ̀ ⲉ̀ⲗⲉⲏ̀ⲥⲟⲛ.

Thou hast came to the slaughter as a lamb, even unto the cross.

Ⲁⲕⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϧⲟⲗϧⲉⲗ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲥⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲁ ⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ.

أتيت إلى الذبح مثل خروف حتى الصليب.

Thou hast manifested the greatness of Thy care for me.

Ⲁⲕⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲛⲓϣϯ ⲙ̀ⲙⲉⲧϥⲁⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩϣ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲓ.

أظهرت عظم إهتمامك بى.

Thou hast buried my sin by Thy sepulchre.

Ⲁⲕϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲃⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲕⲙ̀ϩⲁⲩ

قتلت خطيتى بقبرك.

Thou hast brought my first fruit up to heaven.

Ⲁⲕⲱ̀ⲗⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲁ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ.

أصعدت باكورتى إلى السماء.

Thou hast shown unto me the Parousia of Thy coming.

Ⲁⲕⲱⲟⲩⲛϩ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲧ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ̀ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲕϫⲓⲛⲓ̀.

أظهرت لى إعلان مجيئك.

Wherein Thou shalt come to judge the living and the dead, and give each one according to his deeds.

Ⲑⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲥ ⲉ̀ϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉ̀ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉ̀ϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲉϥϩ̀ⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀.

هذا الذى تأتى فيه لتدين الأحياء والأموات وتعطى كل واحد كأعماله.

Ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲧⲟ ⲉ̀ⲗⲉⲟⲥ ⲥⲟⲩ Ⲕⲩⲣⲓⲉ̀: ⲕⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲧⲁⲥ ⲁ̀ⲙⲁⲣⲧⲓⲁⲥ ⲏ̀ⲙⲱⲛ.
