The Three Long Prayers

The priest stands in front of the sanctuary facing the east, asks the deacon to tell the congregation to start the prayer and says

Pray.

Ϣ̀ⲗⲏⲗ.

صل.

Deacon

Stand up for prayer.

Ⲉⲡⲓ ⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲥ̀ⲧⲁⲑⲏⲧⲉ.

للصلاة قفوا.

The priest looks towards the congregation and says

Peace be with all.

Ⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲡⲁⲥⲓ.

السلام للكل.

Congregation

And with your spirit.

Ⲕⲉ ⲧⲱ ⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲧⲓ ⲥⲟⲩ.
