The Praxis

A deacon proceeds to read the Praxis in Coptic before which he says

The acts of our fathers the Apostles. Their holy blessings be with us.

Ⲡⲣⲁⲝⲓⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ: ⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ.

أعمال آبائنا الرسل بركتهم المقدسة تكون معنا.

At the end of the Praxis, the reader says

And the word of the Lord shall grow, multiply, be mighty and be confirmed in the holy church of God. Amen.

Ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲡ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲁⲓⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲁ̀ϣⲁⲓ: ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲁ̀ⲙⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ: ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲁ̀ⲅⲓⲁ̀ ⲛ̀ⲉⲕⲕ̀ⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ̀ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ: ⲁ̀ⲙⲏⲛ.

وكلمة الرب تنمو وتكثر وتعتز وتثبت فى كنيسة الله المقدسة. آمين.

Then the Praxis is interpreted before which the reader says

A chapter from the Acts of our fathers the pure Apostles who were invested with the grace of the Holy Spirit. Their blessing be with us all. Amen.

فصل من أعمال آبائنا الرسل الأطهار المشمولين بنعمة الروح القدس، بركتهم المقدسة تكون معنا. آمين.

At the end of the interpretation of the Praxis, the reader says

The word of the Lord abides in this Church and in every Church. Amen.

لم تزل كلمة الرب تنمو وتزداد فى هذه الكنيسة وكل كنيسة. آمين.

The Synaxarium is read, then the congregation says the Hymn of the Trisagion.
