لأن غير المتجسِّد تجسَّد والكلمة تجسَّم، غير المبتدئ إبتدأ وغير الزمنى صار تحت الزمان.

السلام لبيت لحم مدينة الأنبياء التى وُلِد فيها المسيح آدم الثانى.

Today the virgin gives birth to supreme essence. The earth approaches the cave to the Unapproachable. The angels with the shepherds glorifing. The Wisemen approaching, with the star on the way. For our sake was born a new child, the Eternal God.

Thy Nativity, O Christ our God, hath dawned upon the world the light of wisdom. For they who worshipped the stars were taught by a star to worship Thee, the Sun of righteousness, and to know Thee, the Dawn from on high. O Lord, glory to Thee.
