Arise O children

Rise up, ye sons of light, and let us sing to the Lord of Hosts, that He may grant us salvation of our souls. As we stand bodily in Thy presence, remove from our minds the sleep of neglect. Give us, O Lord, watchfulness to know how to stand in Thy presence at the time of prayer, and send up to Thee befitting glorification that we might obtain the forgiveness of our many sins. “Glory be to Thee, O Lover of mankind.”

قُوموا يا بَنى النّور لنُسبّح رَبّ القُوّات، لكى يُنعم علينا بخلاص نُفوسنا. عندما نقفُ أمامكَ جَسدياً انْزَعْ من عقولنا نَوم الغَفلَة. أعْطنا يا رَبُّ يَقظةً لكى نَفهم كيفَ نقفُ أمامك وَقت الصّلاة، ونُرسلُ لكَ إلى فَوق التَمْجيد اللائق، ونَفوزُ بغُفران خَطايانا الكثيرة. (المجد لك يا محب البشر)
