The worshipper says

We worship Thee O Christ, with Thy Good Father, and the Holy Spirit, for Thou hast come and saved us.

نسجد لك أيها المسيح مع أبيك الصالح والروح القدس لأنك أتيت وخلصتنا.

Then worshipper continues with passages and says

Behold I am about to stand before the just Judge, trembling and exceedingly afraid on account of my many sins, for a life spent in pleasures deserves condemnation. But repent, O my soul, while you are dwelling on earth, for the dust in the grave offers no praise; and the dead remember not; nor do they who are in Hades offer thanks. But arise from the slumber of indolence imploring the Saviour and repenting and crying out saying: ""O God have mercy on me and save me."" ""Zoksapatri ...""

هُوَذا أَنا عَتيدٌ أَنْ أَقِفَ أَمامَ الدَّيّانِ العادِلِ مَرْعوباً ومُرْتَعبًا مِنْ كَثْرةِ ذُنوبى، لأنَّ العُمْرَ المنْقَضى فى الْمَلاهى يَسْتوجِبُ الدَّيْنونَةَ. لَكِنْ توبى يانَفْسى ما دُمْتِ فى الأرْضِ ساكِنةً لأنَّ التُّرابَ فى القَبْرِ لا يُسَبِّحُ ولَيْسَ فى الموْتَى مَنْ يَذْكُر ولا فى الْجَحيمِ مَنْ يَشْكُر. بَلْ انْهَضى مِنْ رُقادِ الكَسَل وتَضَرَّعى إلَى المخَلِّصِ بالتَّوْبَةِ قائِلةً: اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنى وخَلِّصنى. If this life was permanent and this world eternal, you would have had,O my soul, an apparent execuse; but when your bad deeds and shameful sins are exposed before the just Judge, what will you give in answer while you are lying down on the bed of transgression, slow to control your body. O Christ, our God, before Thy dreadful judgment seat am I afraid, and of the counsel of Thy Judgment do I dread, and of the radiance of Thy Divinity do I tremble, I the wicked and defiled, who is lying down upon my bed, careless about my life. Yet like the publican, I beat upon my breast and cry: ""O God be merciful to me, a sinner,"" ""Kenin ...""

لَوْ كانَ العُمْرُ ثابتاً وهَذا العالَمُ مُؤَبَّدًا لَكانَ لَكِ يا نَفْسى حُجَّةٌ واضِحَةٌ. لَكِن إذا إنْكَشَفَتْ أفْعالُكِ الرَّديئة وشُروركِ القَبيحَة أَمامَ الدَّيّانِ العادِلِ، فَأَىُّ جَوابٍ تُجيبى وأنْتِ عَلَى سَريرِ الْخَطايا مُنْطَرحةً وفى إخْضاعِ الجَسَدِ مُتَهاونَةً؟ أيُّها المسيحُ إلَهُنا، لِكُرسى حُكْمِكَ المرْهوبِ أفْزَعُ. ولِمَجْلِسِ دَيْنونتِك أخْشَعُ. ولِنورِ شُعاعِ لاهوتكَ أجْزعُ. أَنا الشَّقِىُّ المتَدنِّسُ الرّاقِدُ عَلَى فِراشى، المتَهاوِنُ فى حَياتى. لَكنّى أَتَّخِذُ صورَة العشَّارِ قارِعاً صَدْرى قائِلاً: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لى فإنّى خاطئ. O Pure Virgin, draw the veil of thy speedy protection upon thy servant. Remove from me the billows of evil thoughts and raise my sick soul to pray and watch, because it has long lain in deep sleep; for thou art able, merciful, helpful, and the Birthgiver of the Spring of Life, my King and my God, Jesus Christ, my hope.

أيَّتُها العَذْراءُ الطّاهِرةُ أسْبِلى ظلَّكِ السَّريعَ المعونَةِ عَلَى عَبْدكِ، وابْعِدى أمْواجَ الأفْكارِ الرَّديئةِ عَنّى، وانْهضى نَفْسى المريضَةَ للصَّلاةِ والسَّهَرِ، لأنَّها اسْتَغرقَتْ فى سُباتٍ عَميقٍ، فإنَّكِ أُمٌّ قادِرةٌ رَحيمةٌ مُعينةٌ والِدَةُ ينْبوعِ الْحَياةِ مَلِكى وإلَهى يَسوعِ المسيحِ رَجائى.

Graciously accord, O Lord, to keep us this night without sin. Blessed are Thou, O Lord, God of our fathers, and exceedingly blessed, and glorified be Thy Name forever. Amen. Let Thy mercy be upon us, O Lord, according to our hope in Thee. For the eyes of everyone wait upon Thee, for Thou givest them their food in due season. Hearken to us, O God, our Saviour, the hope of all the regions of the earth. And Thou, O Lord, keep us safe from this generation and forever. Amen.

َتفضَّلْ يا رَبُّ أنْ تَحْفَظَنا فى هَذِه اللَّيْلةِ بِغَيرِ خَطيَّةٍ. مُبارِكٌ أَنْتَ أيُّها الرَّبُّ إلهُ آبائِنا ومُتَزايدٌ بَرَكةً، وإسْمُكَ القُدّوسُ مَمْلوءٌ مَجْداً إلَى الأبَدِ آمين. فَلْتكنْ رَحمَتُكَ عَليْنا كَمثْلِ إتِّكالِنا عَليْكَ، لأنَّ أعْيُنَ الكُلَّ تَترَجّاكَ، لأنَّكَ أنْتَ الَّذى تُعْطيهم طَعامَهُم فى حينِه. إسْمَعنا يا اللَّهُ مُخلِّصَنا يا رَجاءَ أقْطارِ الأرْضِ كُلِّها. وأنْتَ يا رَبُّ تَحْفظُنا وتُنَجّينا مِنْ هَذا الجيلِ وإلَى الأبَدِ آمين.

Blessed are Thou, O Lord; teach me Thy statutes. Blessed are Thou, O Lord; make me to understand Thy commandments. Blessed are Thou, O Lord; enlighten me with Thy righteousness. Thy mercy, O Lord, endures forever. Despise not, O Lord, the works of Thine hands. Thou hast been my refuge from generation to generation.

مُبارَكٌ أنْتَ يا رَبُّ عَلِّمنى عَدْلَك، مُبارَكٌ أنْتَ يا رَبُّ فَهِّمنى حُقوقَكَ. مُبارَكٌ أنْتَ يا رَبُّ أنِرْ لى بِرَّك، يا رَبُّ رَحْمَتُكَ دائِمَةٌ إلَى الأبَدِ. أعْمالُ يَديْكَ يا رَبُّ لا تَرفُضْها، لأنَّكَ صِرْتَ لى مَلجأً مِنْ جيلٍ إلَى جيلٍ.

I asked the Lord and said: “Have mercy on me, heal my soul; for I have sinned against Thee.” Lord, I have fled unto Thee. Save me, and teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God. And with Thee is the fountain of life. In Thy light shall we see light. Let Thy mercy come unto those who know Thee, and Thy righteousness unto the upright in heart. To Thee belongs the blessing. To Thee belongs the praise. To Thee belongs the glory, O Father, Son and Holy Spirit, existing from the beginning, now and forever. Amen. It is good to confess unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto Thy Name, O Most High; to show forth Thy mercy every morning, and Thy faithfulness every night.

أَنا طَلبْتُ إلَى الرَّبِّ وقُلْتُ إرْحَمْنى وخَلِّصْ نَفْسى، فإنّى أخْطَأتُ إليْكَ. يارَبُّ إلْتَجأتُ إلَيكَ فَخلِّصنى، وعَلِّمنى أنْ أصْنَعَ مَشيئتَك. لأنَّكَ أنْتَ هُوَ إلَهى، وعِنْدكَ ينْبوعُ الْحَياةِ، وبِنورِكَ يا رَبُّ نُعاينُ النّورَ. فلْتَأتِ رَحْمتُكَ للَّذينَ يَعْرفونَكَ، وبِرُّكَ للْمُسْتقيمى القُلوبِ. لَكَ تجبُ البَركَةُ، لَكَ يَحقُّ التَّسْبيحُ. لَكَ يَنْبغى التَّمْجيدُ أيُّها الآبُ والإبْنُ والرّوحُ القُدُسُ الكائِنُ منْذُ البَدْءِ والآنَ وإلَى أبَدِ الأبَدِ. آمين. جَيِّدٌ هُوَ الإعْتِرافُ للرَّبِّ، والتَّرْتيلُ لإسْمِك أيُّها العَلىُّ. أنْ يُخبر برَحْمتِكَ فى الغَدَواتِ وحَقِّك فى كُلِّ لَيلةٍ.
