The Holy Gospel

فصل من إنجيل معلمنا يوحنا البشير، بركاته علينا. آمين.

John 14:26-15:3

يوحنا ١٤ : ٢٦ - ١٥ : ٣

But the Paraclete, the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your mind, whatsoever I shall have said to you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. You have heard that I said to you: I go away, and I come unto you. If you loved me, you would indeed be glad, because I go to the Father: for the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it comes to pass: that when it shall come to pass, you may believe. I will not now speak many things with you. For the prince of this world cometh, and in me he hath not any thing. But that the world may know, that I love the Father: and as the Father hath given me commandment, so do I: Arise, let us go hence.

مَتَى جاءَ المعَزّى الرّوحُ القُدسُ الَّذى سَيُرسِلهُ الآبُ بإسْمى، فَهُوَ يُعلِّمكُم كُلَّ شئٍ ويُذكِّركُم بكُلِّ ما قُلتُه لَكُم، سَلامى أتْركُ لَكُم. سَلامى أَنا أُعْطيكُمْ. لَيسَ كَما يُعْطى العالَم أُعْطيكُمْ. لا تَضْطَربُ قُلوبُكمْ ولا تَجْزعُ. سَمِعْتُم إنّى قُلتُ لَكُم إنّى أمْضى ثُمَّ آتى إليْكُم، لَوْ كُنتُمْ تُحبّونَنى لَكنْتُم تفْرَحون بأنّى أمْضى إلَى الآبِ لأنَّ أَبى أعْظَمُ مِنّى. وقَدْ قُلتُ لَكُم الآنَ قَبْل أنْ يَكونَ، حتَّى مَتَى كانَ تُؤْمنونَ. لْسُت أُكلِّمكُم كَلاماً كَثيراً بَعْد، لأنَّ رَئيسَ هَذا العالَم آتٍ ولَيسَ لَهُ فى شَئٍ. لَكِن لِكىْ يَعْلمَ العالَمُ أنَّنى أحبُّ أَبى وكَما أوْصانى أَبى هَكَذا أفْعل. قوموا نَنْطلقُ مِنْ هَهُنا.

I am the true vine; and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me, that beareth not fruit, he will take away: and every one that beareth fruit, he will purge it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now you are clean by reason of the word, which I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. Glory be to God forever. Amen.

أَنا هُوَ الكَرْمَةُ الحَقيقيَّةُ وأَبى الكَرّام. كُلُّ غُصْنٍ فىَّ لا يَأتى بثمَرٍ يَقْطعُهُ. وكُلُّ ما يَأتى بثمَرٍ يُنقّيهِ لِيأتى بثمَرٍ أَكْثر. وأنْتُم مِنْ قَبل أنْقِياءُ مِنْ أجْلِ الكَلامِ الَّذى كلَّمْتكُم بهِ. إثبُتوا فىَّ وأَنا أيْضاً فيكُم. والمجْدُ لِلهِ دائِماً.
