You attained what no one could · O Mother of the Mercy · and you became · filled with grace · To the Divine you became · a veil for the Word · And greatly marveled · were you among the scholars.. | من نال ما نلت · يا أم الرحمة · وأنت قد صرت · مملوءة نعمة · وللاهوت صرت · حجاباً للكلمة · وإحتار فيك · أرباب التفهيم. | ||

He sent you Gabriel · the Messenger of His words · and greeted you saying · The Lord has chosen you · His Holy Spirit · filled and dwelt within you · blessed are you O Virgin · throughout all ages.. | أرسل لك غبريال · بمحكم الأقوال · وبشرك إذ قال · الله لك إختار · روح قدسه ملاكي · وسكن في أحشائك · يا عدرا طوباك · في كل الأعصار. | ||
The Unseen and Holy · was born from you · and was called Jesus · for all eyes to see · Moses saw the bush · blazing with fire · its branches flaming · yet the bush was not consumed.. | إن غيرالمحسوس · الرب القدوس · منك أتى ودعي إيسوس · ونظرته الأبصار · موسى رأى العوسج · والنار فيه تتأجج · وأغصانه تتوهج · ما ضرته النار. | ||
The blazing bush · which Moses had seen · was indeed Mary · the adornment of virgins · The fire is Jesus · the Holy Lord · who gave us the Law · engraved in stone.. | أن ما رأته العينان · ملتهبًا بالنيران · في العوسج والأغصان · هي مريم زينة الأبكار · والنار هس إيسوس · الرب القدوس · معطينا الناموس · مكتوبًا في الأحجار. | ||
Isaiah prophesied · about the birth · of Emmanuel · the Almighty King · Ezekiel saw a door · through which the Lord entered · He sealed the door and claimed it · highly exalted.. | ف أشعياء قد قيل · عن هذا التأويل · تلد عمانوئيل · الملك الجبار · حزقيال رأى باب · دخل فيه رب الأرباب · وختم الباب مهاب · عالي المقدار. | ||
Highly exalted are you · and your Son Jesus · when He was born of you · the earth was adorned · And also Daniel · prophesied and said · I saw the high throne · highly exalted.. | عال هو قدرك · لأن يسوع إبنك · لما ولد منك · تزينت الأمصار · أيضًا دانيال · تنبأ حيث قال · رأيت الكرسي العال · عالي المقدار. | ||
In the firmaments high I saw · one like the Son of Man · Who has dominion · over all the earth · He is the Lord of Hosts · around Him are the ranks · thousands and myriads · glorifying in reverence.. | نظرت فةق الأركان · شبه إبن الإنسان · وله سلطان · على كل الأقطار · وهو رب القوات · ومن حوله طغمات · الوف وربوات · من عظم ووقار. | ||
O daughter of Joachim · exalted above the Cherubim · and also Seraphim · and all righteous fathers · The child was born from you · the worshipped Lord · Daivid praises you · with the ten strings.. | يا إبنة يواقيم · فقت الكاربيم · أيضا السيرافيم · وكل الأباء الأبرار · منك جاء المولود · الرب المعبود · يمدح فيك داود · باعلشرة أوتار. | ||
The sound of the first string · is in honor of your name · the Virgin will carry · the Almighty King · And with the second string · David rejoices · chanting with hymns · while playing his harp.. | الوتر الأول · قول ممجد · والعدرا تحبل · بالملك الجبار · الوتر الثاني · داود بالأغاني · يرتل بالألحان · من ضرب القيثار. | ||
And the third O daughter · because you were faithful · you were filled with light · and the Lord chose you · The fourth string is sounded · so that all can hear · of her who is praised · all over the world.. | التالت ياأبنة · أنت مؤتمنة · بالنور مشتملة · والرب لك إختار · الوتر الرابع · إصغ يا سامع · ذا قولًا شائع · في كل الاقطار. | ||
The fifth is a sign of hope · as a dove she appears · with Ophir gold · upon her shoulders · With the sixth he sung · praises I will not hide · But I will praise with him · and proclaim to all.. | الخامس أفخر · حمامة هي تظهر · بالذهب الأصفر · على منكبيها صار · والسادس أبدي · قولًا ما أخفي · لكني أروي · وأشهره إجهار. | ||
With the seventh string he said · O mountain of the High God · the High took flesh from you · without a doubt · And with the eighth he sang · to the Virgin Mary · the Great chose her · and crowned her with honor.. | والسابع إذ قال · يا جبل الله العال · تجسد منك المتعال · بلا شكولا إنكار · والتامن رنان · العدرا مريم · إختارها المعظم · كللها بالفخار. | ||
With the ninth string he said · from her will surely come · God her son · who sealed her virginity · With the tenth he sang · the Powerful God · in Zion he appeared · the dwelling of the righteous.. | والتاسع قال عنها · يظهر حقًا منها · الإله وهو إبنها · والبكورية في حفظ ووقار · الوتر العاشر · الله القادر · في صهيون ظاهر · مسكن الأبرار. | ||
There isn't in all ages · anyone like you O Virgin · for you released the chains · and shame of Adam · O Lady of the creation · the pride of faith · your servant is in need · drowning because of sins.. | لم يوجد في الدهر · مثلك أيتها البكر · لأنك فككت الأسر · عن آدم والعار · يا سيدة الأكوان · يا فخر الإيمان · أنا عبدك حيران · غارق في الأوزار. | ||
Intercede for me · do not leave your servant · ask your son to save me · from the fire · For your intercession · is heard and accepted · and He defends from the attacks · of the adversary.. | عال هو قدرك · لا تتركي عبدك · قصدي من إبنك · عتقًا من النار · لأنك خير من يشفع · وللدعا يسمع · وعنا يدفع · ضربات المكار. | ||
Arise O poor one · and clothe yourself in faith · and say Amen Amen · for us she intercedes · The persistent servant · will always praise her · for by his side that Day · the Lady of virgins shall be. | قم إنهض يا مسكين · والبس ثوب اليقين · وقول آمين آمين · فهي تشفع في الحضار · والناظم المسكين · مادحها في كل حين · ماله يوم الدين · سوى سيدة الأطهار. | ||

You are called, O virgin Mary, the holy flower, of incense. | Ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟ: Ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ̀ ϯⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ: ϫⲉ ϯϩ̀ⲣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ: ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲑⲟⲓⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ. | دعيت يا مريم العذراء الزهرة المقدسة التى للبخور. | |

For you gave birth to the word, without the seed of man, and your virginity, was not corrupted. | Ϫⲉ ⲁⲣⲉϫ̀ⲫⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲗⲟⲅⲟⲥ: ⲁϭⲛⲉ ⲥ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲙⲁ ⲛ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ: ⲉ̀ⲥⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲁⲧⲧⲁⲕⲟ: ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲓⲁ̀. | لأنك ولدت الكلمة بغير زرع بشر وبتوليتك بغير فساد. | |
Wherefore we glorify you, as the Mother of God, ask your Son, to forgive us. | Ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲧⲉⲛϯⲱ̀ⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ: ϩⲱⲥ ⲑⲉⲟ̀ⲧⲟⲕⲟⲥ: ⲙⲁϯϩⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϣⲏⲣⲓ: ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥⲭⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ. | فلهذا نمجدك كوالدة الإله إسألى إبنك ليغفر لنا. | |

Your love embraced me, O pride of nations, Moses has seen you, Surprise and marvel. And the lamps are bright, With golden crosses, O Mary Moses' dome O Aaron's censer. | سباني حبك · يا فخر الرتب · موسى رآكي يا مريم · عجب من عجب · والقناديل فضة بتضوي · والصلبان ذهب · يا قبة موسى يا مريم · يا شورية هارون. | ||
I praise the Virgin, And explain and say, O the origin, And the hidden pearl. | أمدح في البتول · واشرح عنها واقول · أنتِ أصل الأصول · يا جوهر مكنون. | ||
Through your Son O grace, The salvation of our race, We reached the goal O Mary, You brought us jubilation. | بكِ يا نعمتنا · وخلاص جنسنا · قد بلغنا المنى · ونحن فرحون. | ||
He was truly incarnate, From the pride of girls, Crucified and died, For us at Golgotha. | تجسد الإبن بثبات · من فخر البنات · صُلِب عنا ومات · عند الإقرانيون. | ||
The fruit of my pledge, Is the daughter of Zion, My enemies declare, I am filled with your love. | ثمرة العيون · هي إبنة صهيون · أعدائي يقولون · إني بِحُبك مفتون. | ||
Gabriel came to you, With tidings and words, You accepted his word, A hidden mystery. | جاءك غبريال · ببشائر وأقوال · وقبلتي ما قال · وهو سر مكنون. | ||
You contained the Fruit, The Lord of power, You became a bright heaven, O daughter of Zion. | حويتِ الثمرة · وهو رب القدرة · وصرتي سماء مقمرة · يا إبنة صهيون. | ||
Your Son saved Adam, After his sorrow, And has freed the world, From the Devil’s plots. | خلصتي آدم · بعد أن كان نادم · وعتقتي العالم · من كيد الأركون. | ||
He is ever-glorified, The only-begotten was incarnated, To save the servants, From prison and bondage. | دائم التمجيد · تجسد وهو الوحيد · لأجل خلاص العبيد · من الأسر وسجون. | ||
David spoke of you, The King desired your purity, And took flesh from you, The hidden Lord of the throne. | ذكر داود عنك · الملك إشتهى حسنك · وتجسد منك · رب العرش المكنون. | ||
Myriads and thousands, Around the throne standing, Ranks and orders, Together with the martyrs. | ربوات ثم ألوف · من حول العرش وقوف · وطوائف وصفوف · وشهداء متصلون. | ||
We are comforted, As sorrow was taken away, Through you we rejoice, O the pride of the human race. | زالت عنا الأحزان · وصرنا في إطمئنان · بكِ يا قرة الأعيان · ونحن بكِ فرِحون. | ||
Salome witnessed, That the Virgin gave birth, She believed and confirmed, The hidden mystery. | سالومة شهدت · بأن العذراء ولدت · آمنت واعتقدت · بالسر المكنون. | ||
In the Book of Genesis, Moses the orator said, Jacob the great saw you, A ladder full of splendor. | موسى الكليم · إذ في سفر التكوين القويم · قال رآكي يعقوب العظيم · كسلم بالبهاء مقرون. | ||
The chiefs witnessed, You are the intercessor, O Virgin and Bride, As the prophets prophesied. | شهد عنكي الرؤوس · أنكِ شفيعة النفوس · يا بكرَ وعروس · كما تنبأ النبيون. | ||
Hosea proclaimed, That Jesus will appear, As rain and dew, Bewildering those who hear. | صاح هوشع وخبر، بأن يسوع يظهر، شبه نَداء ومطر، تحتار فيه الواصفون. | ||
Eve caused Adam to stray, He cried in regret, Naked he was exiled, And your Son returned him. | ضل بحوا آدم · فصار يبكي وهو نادم · خرج وهو عريان هائم · ولولا ابنك لا دام في شجون. | ||
Your Light has shone, Illuminating darkness, Your Branch sprouted, And the Christians reaped the fruits. | نورك قد أشرق · وفي الظلمة أبرق · وغصنك قد أورق · فجنى ثماره المسيحيون. | ||
Blessed are you O heaven, You bewildered the scholars, Philosophers and wise men, Speak of your honor. | طوباكِ يا سماء · حيرتِ العُلماء · فلاسفة مع حكماء · في وصفك يتكلمون. | ||
God appeared from you, The Exalted One in heaven, Your milk nursed Him Like all humans. | ظهر منكِ الإله · المتعالي في سماه · وملا لبن ثدييكِ فاه · كما يفعل المخلوقون. | ||
Your goodness is exalted, For Jesus is your Son, Your womb carried Him, He saved mankind. | عالا حسنِك · لأن يسوع إبنك · وحملته بطنك · فخلص به البشريون. | ||
The chanters were enriched, O joy of spirits, Praising you is success, True and fine sayings. | غالت فيكِ المداح · يا بهجة الأرواح · مادحك في نجاح · وقوله صحيح موزون. | ||
You gained my Lord’s pardon, That is also my plea, To belong to Jesus and His Mother, Among the overcomers I shall be. | فزتِ بِعَفو ربي · وهو قصدي ومطلبي · يسوع وأمه حسبي · حتى من الفائزين أكون. | ||
Ancient and Eternal, He died to erase sins, He rose from His sleep, As the Disciples preached. | قديم وأزلي دائم · مات لمحو المآثم · واستيقظ كالنائم · وبذا تلاميذه يكرزون. | ||
The righteous Apostles, Preached in nations, The joyful tidings, And performed miracles. | كرزوا في الأقطار · أولئك الرسل الأحبار · نادوا بالإستبشار · وعجائب يصنعون. | ||
To you is greatness, O daughter of Joachim, You bore a great Mystery, O delight of the eyes. | لكِ كل التعظيم · يا إبنة يواقيم · حملتِ السر العظيم · ووضعته يا قرة العيون. | ||
Moses and Daniel, Gave proverbs, They uttered true words about, Your pregnancy O Zion’s daughter. | موسى ودانيال · ضربا فيكِ الأمثال · ونطقا بصحيح الأقوال · في حبلك يا إبنة صهيون. | ||
You enlightened the world, O the pride of generations, Because of your Son, All creatures were freed. | نورتِ الأكوان · يا فخر الأزمان · لولاكي ما كان · كل الخلائق يعتقون. | ||
Great and splendid gifts, Were offered by the kings, Myrrh, gold and frankincense, The Magi carried to the King | هدايا ألوان · جاءت بها الأعيان · ذهب ومر ولبان · لها المجوس حاملون. | ||
They worshiped the Newborn, The worshipped Lord of lords, And Herod was terrified, And his soldiers surprised. | وسجدوا للمولود · الرب المعبود · وهيرودس خائف مجهود · وجنده مندهشون. | ||
Do not forsake at any time, Your poor and humble servant, Your intercession on Judgment Day, For me and all the faithful. | لا تهملي في كل حين · عبدك الخاطي المسكين · شفاعتك يوم الدين · أرجوها أنا والمؤمنون. | ||
O Lady of virgins, To whom belongs dignity, Grant us victory, Over those who deceive us. | يا سيدة الأبكار · يا مَن لكِ الشرف والفخار · إسعفينا بالنجدة والإنتصار · على مَن بنا يمكرون. | ||
We ask of your Son, Forgiveness and faith, And comfort for the people, On Judgment Day. | نسأل منك الغفران · وقوة مع إيمان · وحصول شعبك على اطمئنان · يوم الخلائق يحشرون. | ||
